Announcing new features in Trident for Windows (v.1.7.4.0)

Trident for Windows has new features aimed at enhancing ease of use and elevating your day-to-day communication and productivity.

Let's take a quick look at them.

Drag files from the WorkDrive widget to Mail 

Previously, with Smart Flow you could share files from Cliq to Mail, Mail to Cliq, and upload files to the WorkDrive widget. Now, with the latest update, you can drag files from the WorkDrive widget and drop them into the Mail Composer, where they will upload as attachments automatically! This streamlines your workflow, saving you time while ensuring a smooth flow across platforms.

Search for templates in the Mail Composer 

In addition to the recent enhancement of saving email drafts as templates directly from the Mail Composer, you can now conveniently search for these saved templates within the Mail Composer. So, whether you're responding to client inquiries, sending out newsletters, or coordinating team updates, finding and applying the right template is now just a search away.

Switch between Light and Dark modes 

In addition to the Dark, Light, and System themes available in Trident's customisation options, you now have the ability to switch between Light and Dark modes in the Mail Composer, enabling seamless adaptation to various lighting conditions or personal preferences.




Multi-account access for Cliq in Trident 

You can now effortlessly manage conversations across different Zoho Mail accounts without the need to toggle between multiple browser tabs or windows. When you set your Cliq module preference to open in a new window, you can switch accounts directly from the Cliq Window. This allows you to access Cliq chats from all of your logged-in Zoho Mail accounts with ease. 



To leverage these new features in Trident, update the app to the latest version by following the steps below:

  1. Click the Main Menu icon on the top-left corner of the app.

  1. Select Check for Updates from the menu list.
