Enable Keyword-Based Bot Activation in SalesIQ Without Scripts

Enable Keyword-Based Bot Activation in SalesIQ Without Scripts

Hello team,

We’d like to highlight an important limitation in Zoho SalesIQ Zobot.

Current situation:

  • In the no-code builder, bots can only be activated based on visitor attributes (country, page, campaign, CRM, etc.).

  • If we want a bot to activate when a visitor types a keyword in the chat, this is only possible through Zobot Script, which requires technical expertise.

The problem:
In practice, many companies manage multiple campaigns across social media and WhatsApp, each with different messages and products.

We need bots to activate on specific keywords (e.g., “hypnosis,” “coaching,” “NLP”), so that each user is directed straight into the flow that matches their interest.

Other no-code bot platforms already support keyword-based activation without relying on scripts or third-party integrations.

The opportunity:
Adding this feature to the no-code Zobot would allow more teams (especially non-technical ones) to get the most out of SalesIQ without unnecessary complexity.

It would also prevent the need to rely on a single global, generic bot, which is ineffective when leads arrive segmented from different campaigns.

Our request:
Please enable in the no-code Zobot builder the option to activate bots based on keywords typed by visitors, just like bots can already be triggered by visitor attributes.

This would make SalesIQ far more competitive compared to other market solutions and reduce the reliance on external tools.
