Get started with Roster View in Zoho Workerly

As a temp staffing agent, it's your job to ensure clients are provided with temps that will fulfil their requirements to an optimum level. This requires frequent updates to your staffing strategies as you keep up with current hiring trends. It is definitely not an easy business!

Scheduling temps is tricky. You have to juggle factors like overtime work, pay rates, scheduled jobs, schedule clashes, etc. As the number of temps increases, you need to simplify the temp scheduling process, and the good news is Zoho Workerly has come up with a solution: Roster View for our Jobs and Temps modules.




Here is a quick comparison between our existing temp scheduling process and temp scheduling with Roster View:

Jobs Module

Agents can create a job with Workerly and start assigning temps. Our speciality is showing matching temps and providing advanced filters to help you further refine your results. Upon choosing temps, clicking on Assign and Notify will send a notification to the temp through their registered mobile number. You can then invite them to login to temp portal.
Jobs Module

It helps you better visualize the schedule by showing date ranges. Job schedules, unavailability, base pay rates, and more are displayed in calendar format. It reduces the chance of overworking temps and encountering schedule clashes. Our advanced search does its magic here as well! Filter your temps with custom criteria. Upon scheduling, click Publish and Notify to save the schedule and notify the temps. 
Temps Module

- You cannot view temp schedules increasing the chances of scheduling multiple clashing jobs for the same temp. We do provide alert message on trying this action, but it was always a challenge for agents while planning temp scheduling. 

- We had limitations in displaying a temp's total working hours and tracking overtime work.
Temps Module

Temps module has a new look, but we have retained 'List View.' Roster View allows you to see temp details and approve temps quickly. You can also send mass invites, updates, and emails—all from the same interface. Clicking on a temp's name will pull up their information. See their base pay and scheduled work hours right below their name.
Planning your business always depends on the revenue you have generated, and our existing system had limitations to displaying that effectively.
Weekly Projection: Both the Temps and Jobs module are equipped to show your temps' total working hours and the daily revenue you have generated. This way, it gives you a fair idea of how well you have scheduled temps to reach your target.


For existing customers, we have created a video walk-through for an easy transition to Roster View.
