LinkedIn is retiring Basic (Free) Job Posting support for Staffing Agency users

Dear Zoho Recruit Users,

Due to a restriction imposed by LinkedIn, Basic Job Posting support will no longer be available for staffing agencies, effective August 2024. Keep in mind that Corporate HR edition accounts will not be impacted by this restriction.

Why LinkedIn are making this change?

LinkedIn is introducing this restriction to ensure that every job posted on their platform is valid, high quality, and unique, aiming to enhance member safety and a positive job search experience.

Starting from August 2024, jobs posted  by staffing companies using the Basic Job Posting service will no longer appear on LinkedIn.

How this change will impact you

LinkedIn's restriction will result in the following changes in your Zoho Recruit account;
  • Users will no longer be able to post jobs in LinkedIn (Basic).
  • The LinkedIn (Basic) job board will be removed from all Staffing Agency edition accounts.
If you are a Corporate HR (internal hiring) but are using the Staffing Agency edition, please write to us at support@zohorecruit.com. We will validate your company profile and make the necessary changes to your account.

Note:
  • Please be aware that Zoho Recruit can only facilitate the publishing of jobs in LinkedIn.
  • LinkedIn has full discretion over which jobs are allowed on their website and they reserve the right to classify companies as a recruitment agency or a corporate entity at their discretion.

How you can adapt to this change

To continue leveraging LinkedIn's vast reach for your staffing needs, we recommend using the LinkedIn (Premium) job board. LinkedIn Premium enhances job promotion from Zoho Recruit by targeting passive candidates, offering advanced targeting, reaching 3x more applicants, and providing full control over job and budget limits. Learn More

Configuring LinkedIn (Premium)

Follow the steps given below to configure the LinkedIn Premium Job Posting in your Zoho Recruit account;
  • Navigate to Setup > Job Board Hub > Job Boards and search for LinkedIn (Premium) using the filters on the left.
  • Enable the toggle and authenticate your LinkedIn recruiter account.
Note:
  • Make sure you have enough job slots purchased in LinkedIn before you publish job openings from Zoho Recruit.
  • If you are using the Linkedln Job Posts contract (pay-for-performance model), you must provide consent for Linkedln assigning a default monthly budget for your job post. Click here for detailed instructions.
  • Please note that unless you provide consent, your job will not be promoted on LinkedIn.
