Tip #8: Restore a Team Folder

Hello everyone,

For today's tip, we'll teach you how to restore a deleted Team Folder from the Admin Console.



A Team Folder is a shared workspace for ideas to have a home from conception to realization.

Let's say Jake worked on a short-term finance project for which he had created a Team Folder with 5 users and stored all of his project files there. However, when he finished the project, he deleted the Team Folder without transferring or saving the important documents.
 
Deleting a Team Folder will erase all its files and folders, but you have the option to restore the deleted Team Folder from the Admin Console before a certain period (7, 30, 90, or 120 days) based on the team's Data Retention Policy.

Note: Only Team Admins can restore the deleted Team Folder from the Admin Console.
 
Here's how to do it:
  1. Click Admin Console in the bottom-left corner of your WorkDrive account. The Admin Console page will open in a new tab.
  2. Click Team Folders in the left panel.
  3. Click the dropdown arrow next to Active Team Folders in the top-right corner.



  4. Select Deleted Team Folders.
  5. Select a Team Folder you wish to restore and click on the More actions icon (...).



  6. Click Restore Team Folder.
