What's new in Exchange ActiveSync 14.1 and Zoho Mail?

We have an important announcement regarding the Exchange ActiveSync version 14.1 update, as well as Zoho Mail's features and functionality support.

Let's get started!

Mail

  • We have made enhancements in the Smart Forward and Smart Reply options to make forwarding of/ replying to emails more efficient.
  • We now support Labels/Tags synchronisation so you can conveniently view the newly created labels/tags on any device with the same account credentials.

Calendar

  • One-way synchronization is now supported for meeting invitation links to the client.
  • The Add Attendees option is supported for events created after the interruption of a repeat event by breaking it.

Tasks

  • We also support Tasks synchronisation to always help you stay aware of your to-do's.
  • Categories and Tags sync support have been provided.

Notes

  • We now support two - way Notes synchronisation with which you can access and edit your notes on any device with the same account in which you created them.
  • Categories and Tags sync support have been provided.
Notes sync is supported only by EAS version 14.0 and above. For the clients syncing with the earlier versions, Notes will not be synced.

System settings

If the user hasn't updated to the latest version of the EAS, the button to Update will be given in the Settings > Activesync section. Once updated, the app-specific data in the client’s device might be reconfigured.
