Hello everyone,

 

We're happy to share with you that Zoho Flow has completed 5 years since its launch in 2018.

 

With an objective of simplifying the need for custom integrations amongst everyday cloud apps, we launched the platform supporting 100 cloud apps back then. Zoho Flow has effectively been helping our users create business automation workflows without them worrying about the technical know-how. The intuitive drag and drop builder makes it easy for everyone to create smart workflows.  

 

In these 5 years, our customers have created more than 300,000 integration workflows among 800+ supported apps in the platform.

 

We would like to express our gratitude to you, our customers and partners, for joining us on this incredible journey. We also extend a special thanks to our contributors for providing valuable assistance to fellow Zoho Flow users, helping them with their integration needs and challenges.

Expanding the capabilities of Zoho Flow  

Now as we step into our 6th year, we're focusing on bringing in more functionality to the platform. While we we're working on features like email trigger, RSS trigger, and folders, we're also excited to talk to briefly about two landmark features.

1) Support for On Premise applications

Some organizations host apps on their own servers. Zoho Flow will start extending support to the on-premise version of those apps. We're starting off with SDP-On Demand, but will gradually add more apps in the future.

 

This will be especially beneficial for organizations who are using both cloud as well as on-premise applications. With Zoho Flow, they should be able to create custom workflows and move data between both kinds of apps.

2) Robotic Process Automation

RPA will let users have their own digital assistants that automatically completes their desktop tasks. We'll start with support for the Windows UI, and will soon expand the capabilities to web browsers, MS Excel, and more. RPA will enable businesses to automate a wide range of workflows, from insurance claim settlements and hospital patient data recording to bank document and record automation. It's a billion-dollar market and we hope to become a strong player in this space soon.
