Let’s take a look at the new features and enhancements that went live across all Workplace applications this September.
Effortlessly attach emails as EML file in Compose by simply using the add Attachment option available in the Toolbar.
Chats initiated through a Streams post via the 'Chat about this' option can now be deleted using the Delete option available in the Streams post.
If you attempt to cancel or exit the filter creation settings page while creating a filter with unsaved changes, you will now have the option to save your progress as a Draft. These drafts are accessible in the Drafts section of the Create Filter settings for later editing.
When searching for attachments by size, you can now filter results by entering a start and end date.
Create, edit, and share your calendar schedules effortlessly with colleagues. Additionally, import .ics files from other apps directly into your calendar.
As an Admin, you can now allow your organization users to book the rooms up to a maximum of 31 days.
You can now quickly access all the threads created in a channel using the shortcuts alt+t / opt+t.
We’ve made user profiles easier to navigate with the new activity filter. You can now view specific activity types like posts, comments, and others across groups, forums, Town Halls, and other modules. This makes it easy to quickly find the content you need and focus on what truly matters without the clutter.
Zoho Trident
With the Zoho Vault eWidget in Trident, you get secure access to your passwords and confidential information. You can view all of your stored passwords, edit them, share them, or access passwords shared with you, all without leaving Trident. (Available on both Mac and Windows.)
In addition to creating calendar events from selected text in an email, you can now also convert an entire email into a calendar event. The email’s subject will automatically become the event title, the email content will be used as the event description, and all email recipients—including yourself—will be added as attendees. (Available on Mac.)
You can now view and manage events from the macOS system Calendar app directly in Trident. To enable this, just grant Trident access to your system calendar in Trident’s settings, and you’ll always have your full schedule at hand no matter which app you open. (Available on Mac.)
Outlook calendar events can now be viewed in Trident upon syncing them from the Zoho Calendar web app. This ensures your meeting schedule always stays up to date in both apps. (Available on Mac.)
Sync your calendar settings
The Calendar View and Event Settings customized in the Zoho Calendar web app will now be reflected in Trident and vice versa. (Available on Mac.)
You can now save email conversations in EML or HTML file formats and maintain an accessible archive of important conversations. (Available on Windows.)
Previously, all of your calendars were always visible in the list view. With this update, you can choose to show or hide any calendar—whether personal, group, or shared—directly from the list view or the app settings, making it easier to focus on the calendars that matter most. (Available on Windows.)
