We've recently introduced a lot of features and enhancements to Social in Zoho CRM Plus to help you improve your social media marketing. Here is a list of all the updates.
Video marketing
Integrating YouTube
Youtube can now be integrated with Social, which lets you publish or schedule videos to your YouTube channel. The
Monitor tab lets you keep an eye on all your likes, dislikes, and playlist. It also lets you moderate comments on your channel. In addition, a detailed report is available that lets you analyze the audience, post and engagement, video performance, cards, and end screen. You can also create a custom report and export it or share it through email. This report can be scheduled to be generated automatically and shared with clients or team members.

While uploading a video, you can set the thumbnail in the following way
- Select an auto-generated thumbnail: Once a video is uploaded, a list of thumbnails will be automatically generated that are different screenshots from the video. You can select a thumbnail of your choice.
- Upload image as a thumbnail: Select an image from your computer to use as the video's thumbnail.
Choose a frame from the video as a thumbnail: Play the video and pause it at the frame you want to set as the video's thumbnail. You can also drag the cursor across the video timeline and select a frame.

Content approvals and workflow
Social media posts can be sent as drafts for approval before they are published. Users with the
Publisher role can create these drafts and send them for approval, which can be approved by users with
Approver permission. They can also update, or reject the post from getting published. If rejecting, they can include a reason for rejection, which will be shared with the publisher.

UTM tracking
These are simple text codes that let you track website visitors and traffic sources. The UTI Parameters—including source, medium, campaign, and content—can be appended to the URL right from Social. You can also append a custom parameter if required. These parameters can be used to analyze traffic using an analytics tool.

Social lets you add a comment along with your Instagram post, and both can be published together. This comes in handy when you want to include a list of hashtags along with the post. Adding them as a comment avoids cluttering the caption, helps target the right audience, and boosts visibility for the post.

Retweets can be scheduled to be published at a later date and time. You can add them to the queue or choose a time slot suggested by SmartQ. SmartQ predicts the date and time there is a high chance for an increase in the audience traffic.

RSS feeds
These allow you to follow updates of any new content from websites you're interested in. You can add a list of feeds and share the updates on social media, discuss the post with your teammates, or move it to draft.

Lead generation from LinkedIn
Lead forms in Social can be used to gather contact information from prospects by sharing engaging content on LinkedIn. This contact information can be synchronized with your CRM account and you can continue your sales process.

Multi-line fields character limits
Is there a way to set the character limit higher on multi-line fields so that we are not losing information pasted into the field? When the text is entered or pasted, there is no error to say that the text is too large. After saving and going back to view most of the text is gone. To lower the amount of false new leads we added the captcha field and new enquieries are send to the Approval Leads list. However we still get some spam.
