Announcing New Features in Trident for macOS (v.1.19.0)

Hello everyone!

Trident for macOS is here with interesting features and enhancements to elevate your workplace communication. Let's take a quick look at them.

View and manage .pst files. 
A .pst (Personal Storage Table) file is an Outlook Data Storage file format for storing local copies of emails, contacts, and calendar events. These files can be used to archive and back up data or store items locally to prevent them from increasing the size of the mailbox. With this update, you can now mount these .pst files in Trident to view your locally stored emails. 

Export emails in .pst file format.
In addition to exporting emails as .zip files, you can now export emails in .pst file format. This helps create a secure, compressed backup for easy storage and local access. 


Attach WorkDrive files to your emails—no downloads needed. 
Previously, you could quickly attach a single file from the Zoho WorkDrive widget to your email by simply dragging and dropping it—without the extra step of downloading it to your device and then uploading it as an attachment. To attach multiple WorkDrive files to your emails with the same ease, you can now browse your WorkDrive directly and select several files at once to add to your email.


Open .eml files in Trident.
You can now open .eml files directly using Trident. This makes it easy to access email content stored locally on your system.


Add multiple assignees to a task.
You can now assign more than one person to a task, enabling better collaboration, shared ownership, and improved task tracking within your team.

To leverage these new features in Trident, update the app to the latest version by following the steps below:
  1. Open Trident.
  2. In the system menu bar, click Trident.
  3. Select Check for Updates from the menu list.
