A PST (Personal Storage Table) file is an Outlook Data Storage file format for storing local copies of emails, contacts, and calendar events. These files can be used to archive and back up data or store items locally to prevent them from increasing the size of the mailbox.
If you're migrating from Outlook to Trident, you can easily access your locally stored Outlook email archives by mounting the PST files directly in Trident. Because the emails aren’t imported but only viewed, your storage space remains unaffected.
In this article, we'll see how you can mount PST files in Trident to view and manage your locally stored emails.
To mount PST files:
Click your profile image in the top-right corner of the app.
Select Settings from the drop-down menu.
Go to Mail > PST Files.
Click Add PST File.
Browse for the file in your system and click Open.
Notes:
In Trident, only email conversations stored in PST files can be viewed and managed. Other data, such as contacts and calendar events, aren't supported.

Click the Edit icon.
Update the file name and hit return.
To remove a PST file you've added to Trident:
Hover over the PST file whose name you wish to remove.
Click the Delete icon.
Confirm the action by selecting Remove in the alert that appears.
Notes:
On removing the PST file, you'll no longer be able to view its email contents inside Trident.
This action does not delete the PST file from your local system. You can choose to re-add this file later.
Removing PST files does not increase the mailbox storage.
The mounted PST file is listed under the PST Files section in the left pane of the Mail module. On clicking a PST file, all of the email folders will be listed in the Folders section below, from where you can view the respective emails in the list and detail views.
On right-clicking the file, you'll have options to rename and remove the file.
