Announcing new features in Trident for Windows (v.1.24.4.0)

Hello Community,

Trident for Windows is here with exciting new features to elevate your workflow and enhance productivity. Let’s dive into what’s new!

Add WorkDrive files as attachments in the Mail Composer.
Previously, you could only attach files from your system to the Mail Composer. Now, you can easily attach files from WorkDrive to the Mail Composer.



Show Cc and Bcc fields while composing an email.
You can now customize your Mail Composer and choose whether the Cc and Bcc fields appear by default when you're composing an email.



Recording one-on-one calls.
You can now record one-on-one audio, video, or screen share calls right from within Trident. All recordings can be accessed from the Recordings section under Files in the Cliq web app.

View CRM events in Trident Calendar.
Trident’s unified calendar now integrates with Zoho CRM, allowing you to view CRM calls, meetings, and tasks directly in Trident's calendar grid. 



'Shared with me' view in Tasks.
You no longer have to search for all of the tasks that have been shared with you. You can now access them in a separate 'Shared with Me' view in the Tasks module.



Lock the app when needed.
Previously, when App Lock was enabled, the app would automatically lock after a set period of idle time. Now, you also have the option to manually lock the app whenever you need to.



To leverage these new features in Trident, update the app to the latest version by following the steps below:
  1. Click the Main Menu icon on the top-left corner of the app.
  2. Select Check for Updates from the menu list.

If you haven't already downloaded the app, you can download it here. Trident is available for free for all paid and trial users of Zoho Mail, Zoho Workplace, and Zoho One (using Zoho Mail).

To submit your feedback directly through the app, follow the steps below:
  1. Click the Main Menu icon on the top-left corner of the app.
  2. Select Feedback.
  3. In the feedback window, enter the necessary details under Subject and Feedback Content.
  4. Once you're ready, click Submit.
