Add Buttons to non stateless form
I am requesting that you allow users to add Buttons on non stateless forms. At the moment it is not consistent because you can add them on stateless forms. I already have forms with complicated logic and I am not converting them to a stateless form. Can you please enable?
I need help on a simple lookup problem
I do not know anything about coding so I am hoping there is an app or simple directions to do what I want to do. I just want to create an appointment process. I would like a form that I can add available appointments and a form that my student would use to select the appointment but once selected it would no longer be available for anyone else to select. Zoho Creatot in Spanish, French, Chinese, Russian...
Hi, I need to translate our Zoho application to be used in Spanish, French, Chinese, Russian Languages... Any suggestions? There are actually 2 issues. One is the Zoho creator tools like sort, summary view, print, search, etc that are part of Zoho functionality that need to be translated and then there are the actual form fields and database that needs to be available in different options.
Zoho is automatically guessing my domain name
I own multiple domains because I run a number of websites. One domain is attached to the email I used to sign up with and Zoho Creator seems to think I want to use that domain name for this account. Wrong! I want to use another domain name. I see no place to change the domain that you want to set up with the account. Help! Thank you!
Edit Subforms: Does not save data properly
I have a CUSTOMER form with a PROJECT subform. When I go to my CUSTOMER View and Edit customer 123, I see 2 project rows. The first row should contain agreement 12 & the second row should contain agreement 22. After I change the agreement value and click update, I go to the view PROJECT rows but it did not save properly. However, the PROJECT agreement for 1 row is blank and the other is correct. Before I submit Update: (Expected) After I click Update: (actual) Why is the data not saving properly?
Need a quick help - on delete row
Hi All, I have a form Packing List. In Packing List there is a SubForm "Block Packing List". When i select some item in "Block Packing List" and Submit, that item exists in the other form "List of Items" changes to 'Packaged' Status. When i delete some row in "Block Packing List" i'm changing back that item to 'Available' Status. Everything is fine upto here. Now the Problem is when i delete some row and do a cancel, that item changes to 'Available' Status and that row remains same in "Block

So i have created an app in Zoho. It currently has 3 FORMS which are : Timecards, Employee Database, Phase Code Database The fields are : 1. Date 2. Project Name 3. Employee Name 4. Employee ID ( Should Autopopoulate from Employee Database) 5.Employee Trade ( Should Populate from the Employee Database) 6. Mapping DNS for Custom URL
Hello, I have set up my domain account, created my custom sub-domain, and tried to map my DNS. My domain is hosted by Bluehost and this is how I attempted to map the DNS. Let me know if this is wrong: 1. Went into DNS zone editor. 2. Added DNS record: Host Record: mysubdomain.mydomain.com Type: CNAME Points To: customer-creator.zoho.com 3. Waited 24 hours and tried to go to mysubdomain.mydomain.com, but it only brought me to mydomain.com. Am I doing something wrong?
Problem with fetch
I have an employee database and puting in employee information in another form. So obviously i am looking to autopoulate ID field automatically when a name is selected from a dropdown. So after watching a few fetch and set variables tutorials i am still unable to find out what the problem is with my form. I am unable to give the condition employee name==input.employeename because employee name is in numeric field. I am not sure why this is the case because it is a string field. Please help. It
Translate formulas from Excel to Zoho
So I have this excel file with some formulas. I was wondering if there is a way to translate them into Zoho. Not really sure if they will be a calculated fields or a script...I'm guessing a script. Formula 1 - Cuts text at character 80. If string exceeds 80 characters it is cut. Excel: LEFT(IF(A1),80) Formula 2 - Combine two fields into one. Text Field and Numeric Field. Saving & recalling MAP variables
Is there any way by which a map variable defined at any stage of form can be saved and later recalled for use ? For example on load a map variable is created and saved. The same map variable is recalled in form when other function such as submit or any custom button script is evoked.
captcha/verification code not working - Firefox & Safari
Hello - I'm testing a form I created and embedded into my webpage using the following browser applications: Firefox 3.0.7 Safari 3.2.1 On neither one am I able to successfully submit a form because the form returns the message "Please enter the correct verification code." I can't find a resolution to these problems on your forum. Please reply with a current solution. The verification code capability is the reason I chose your service.
Creator timeout
I asked this a while back have had no reply. Come on folks, it can't be that hard! I just need to know how long it is before Zoho Creator logs you out or drops the connection, if you load a form and then wanter away for a cup of coffee. Is it half an hour? Ten minutes? More importantly, can this setting be tweaked anywhere? I have some people that need to run training courses, and the last thing we want is for the system to time-out before the clients click Okay!

How to create a button in a custom view, that prints the view?
I have a custom view, that's generated from a stateless form. I'd like to give user a button to print the data. I guess it can be a button in the stateless form?
Show/Hide View Columns dynamically
I think it'd be cool to be able to do this. For example, based on zoho.loginuser, show certain columns to different users. With a database to define user roles, we can even customise whether columns appear according to roles.
how to create a lookup of zoho users
hi i am loving this zoho creator! i would like to create a dropdown menu that contains other users of this same application. ie. all users with access to this application. how can i do this? also would like to filter this list so if i have added the user to a specific group then they should appear in this list. keen to move on this as this prodcut looks good for our company cheers Lathan

URL based filter on lookup fields within a view
Hi Guys, I have tried to keep this simple, I have the following table relationships: Client ----< Properties ----< Assets (i.e client has many properties, a property has many assets). The Assets table has these fields: #Property (lookup) #Asset Name #Asset Number I have a view that displays: #Client (related field to property - Linked) #Property #Asset Name #Asset Number This works fine, except I am not able to include a filter in the URL that filters on the client field (e.g. ...#View:Assets_View?Client=Sorbon)
Favicon
I noticed that in switching between domain and personal accounts the favicon is not transfered over. It seems to take the one from the domain account over the personal account. BTW, I switch back and forth because I have shared workspace apps with clients that disappear in the domain account. Cheers, John Whitney
Group security
My clients are complaining that they can no longer see some forms or views. The PROVISIONING forms and views are shared to the Provisioning group. I have 16 members part of the provisioning group. Users in the group can not see the forms or views that are shared to the Provisioning group. Previously it was working. Is anyone experiencing security problems?
Change text color in a view
I would like to be able to have different color text show in my view, or be able to change the background color of the box where the text is. For example, under view, I have a list. One of the columns is STATUS I would like for it to list like this: NONE - Black Arrived - Blue Delayed - Red Finished - Green. Place View under multiple tabs
I want to place a VARIATION View under the AGREEMENT and PROJECT tab. When I created the view, the "Place this View under" only allows you to select 1 tab. How can I make the view visible to both tabs?

I'd like for an email notification only when I decide at time of entry. I created a field "email_notification" of the type "Decision check box" What would be the better strategie for allowing email notification upon checking that field only.
My App is gone
My app I have been I made is gone from the index view. I can't make backups of it. Also If I go to http://creator.zoho.com/home/index it shows I have no apps but if I manually go to the link of my App it still exists, and I can access it that way. Is there any way to fix this issue so I can make it appear in my index and also make backups of it? Many thanks
usage limit notification
I received an email with an alert stating "You have reached the maximum Schedule limit permitted for this account. Please upgrade to add more." What does this mean? On my zoho home page it says ive got no schedules created.

Zoho Creator API JSON Mis-formatted for Related Fields
Hi, It seems I have come across an issue with how the JSON is displayed when getting the JSON from a view where I link a Field to an additional view and then show a field from that linked view. How It Should Work: Lets say I have two views: View 1 1 2 3 View A A B C If View A is linked to View 1 with a related field, the JSON should be formatted as follows, where the view A details are nested underneath View 1. Multi-select field show/hide
I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer when it comes to scripting, and Deluge is no exception. I have figured out how to make a field show or hide based on binary statement (on or off via checkbox) or on any sort of input regardless of what the input is.
