Grouping of documents and comments
I new to zoowriter so ignore this post if there is some sort of progres in this direction. Right now Im in the proces of writing a simple book for my college course and Im collaborating with a coleage of mine. Zoho writer has all we need for a task of such a magnitude, the only thing that prevent us from using it at all is that there is no posibillity to group and share a group of documents. Sience is book we are writing we plan to have each chapter in a separated document, and to share document

What is your views about Writely (similar as zonewriter), which is take over by Google. What are your views?
E-mail sign-in problem
Hi, I just started using Zoho Writer and I love it. :) I'm having a little issue though: I changed my primary e-mail (in the settings screen), but I can't log in with that e-mail address. Only my old one will work. I'm assuming this is a bug? *kumari
stripping out \"+\" in email addresses
I use gmail to archive files by appending a "+file" to the username portion of the address. So, instead of "myname@gmail.com" the address looks like "myname+file@gmail.com". This allows me to write a filter that then adds a gmail label to the message and immediately archive it. When emailing a document from Zoho Writer, the "+" is stripped from the address. Can anything be done to stop the mail agent from doing this? riverphot

Cannot Delete Tag Folder
I used to tag features to create a new folder, but now I cannot delete it. It doesn't matter if the folder has a document in it or is completely empty, no matter how many times I click on that X, it won't disappear.
Post to Typepad drops spaces
When I post an entry to Typepad, HTML like the following leaves spaces out (eg "Boorstinwould". But when I Print Preview it or export it to HTML the space is inserted. I think the export function needs to insert spaces in place of newlines. Example: Web 2.0 is an example of what the historian <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daniel_J._Boorstin">Daniel Boorstin</a> would have called "the Fertile Verge" nick.gal

The address at the bottom of page.
Is there a way to get rid of the address at the bottom of the page ? If your using this as a word replacement you can't use it correctly with that at the bottom. ez61
can't update post in wordpress.com
I published a document as a post in my wordpress.com blog account with no problem. When I try to update the post, and hit the Update Post button, this little window keep showing the animated icon, but never updates the post. It seems that only works for "first time" (new) posts. Can anybody have an idea?

.odt import problem
Hello, I have been unable to import my Open Office documents (.odt). The error is "Unable to import document", while the JavaScript Console (of Firefox) displays the following: Error: docInfo has no properties Source File: http://www.zohowriter.com/js/writer.js?sid=S7 Line: 1644 The line is the same regardless of which .odt file i attempt to import. The error occurs using both Firefox 1.5.0.6 or Internet Explorer v6.0.2900.2180. I have been able to upload both a .jpg file and a Microsoft Word (.doc)

Save As?
I can't figure out how to save multiple versions of a document, like one would do with the "Save as" option in most programs. (I tried the forum search feature, but the quick search takes me to some other forum and the advanced search doesn't list a Zoho Writer forum). Thanks.

Student Friendly Features
I've been messing around with mynoteIT.com and stu.dicio.us for a while now, but I'm just not satisfied. I was wondering if you guys are ever planning on either a) making a student version of ZohoWriter or b) implementing student friendly features, similar to that of mynoteIT. ^_^ That would be absolutely amazing. Another feature I would love to see is a much easier way to make "folders". The labels system right now seems really sloppy. Thanks again! ZohoWriter is incredible. :)
Zoho Writer performance has been really awful for me :(
Ever since the major update, Zoho Writer performance has been really awful for me. It feels a lot slower, and several really new bothersome bugs have appeared in Firefox. For example, whenever I try to add a hyperlink now, I get a gigantic error message starting with: [[{DOCUMENT_ID' and listing the names of all my documents. :\ I have another computer that Zoho used to work fine on, but now, it loads up to 97% and freezes. What's more, now, the document display on the left gets cut off at the bottom.
Public / Private query
I would like to know if it is possible to make a public doc private again. I published it while investigating features but don't really want it published. At the moment the only solution seemed to be to cut and paste into a new (private) doc, leaving the original public one empty. I then couldn't delete the empty public doc, so that's left behind now. Is there a better way of handling this? Cheers Mike
Email Out
Hi. I have a bit of a problem. I've imported a word doc and sorted the layout a bit and saved it. That works fine. But now i want to email it out to someone (not share) and that's my problem. I'm using the email out option which looks like it should do what i want but the document never seems to reach the recipient even though i'm told it's been successfully sent. Am i doing something wrong? Cheers

pictures vanished after import
After I imported a 3 mb word doc originally done in Office XP, all the pictures contained in it are lost. Moreover, all the text has realigned and left justified now. Ne solns?

Hi, would it be possible to see which of the users edited what? History now just shows revision numbers, but not who edited what? Or am I missing something? Thanks!
Creation web link failed
I can't create a web link in the documents. IE 6sp2 reports an error for the page saying Error: Object doesn't support this property or method. Code: 0. URL: http://www.zohowriter.com/index.do I get this problem also when trying with the Feature "wizard" on top of the window.

Naming Documents
Whenever I name my documents with something like #5 at the end, it always deletes the #5 part of it, unless I do the same thing again. Ex. Name: Journal #2 [hit enter] Name: Journal [type #2 again] Name: Journal #2 Just a bit annoying. ^_^
Access Question
I usually get into Zoho Writer on my iBook running Camino, OS 10.3.9. But yesterday I tried to access it from IE 5, iCab, and Opera in OS 9.2.2 (on a Powerbook G3) and, also on the PB G3, running OS 10.2.8, in Safari. In all cases I signed in and got as far as the page that loads from 1-100%. Sometimes it loaded to 100% but never showed anything else, and in other cases it only got as far as 1%. Has anyone else experienced access problems like this? I can get to other web pages and do things fine
pink text
some of the documents I import have all pink text. sometimes when i save a document i wrote with zoho, it is all pink when i reopen it. also, do you support imnporting embedded images in word documents? the one i tried to import has a placeholder for the image, but only a broken icon there. lastly- if i hide buttons that i don't use very often is it possible to access their function without going back through the options window and putting them back in? thanks -dave

Zoho Writer in Firefox 1.5.02 just sticks at 0%. Launches fine in IE7. This is in Windows XP Pro. I have already tried to delete the Firefox cookie and restart Zoho but that doesnt work.
Import not working
I am importing a Word document using 'Import'. It has been 1/2 hr but import hasn't complete yet. Looks like a bug.

I don't see a way to search for documents, either by the name or content. I also do not see how to search for tag names. Does anyone know if these functions are possible? thanks
.odt document importing broken?
Hello, I am having issues importing .odt document files. (Created by OpenOffice 2.0.2) When I try to upload them, the progress wheel spins and then stops. Zoho gives me a message saying "Unable to import document." Any help would be appreciated.
Switching Between Tabs Sluggish
Switching between tabs is not as smooth as I would like it to be. Every time I click on a tab, the "loading" dialog shows briefly and the images on the tabs (pencil icon and the "close" x) must load. Is Zoho retrieving the document from the database every time a tab is clicked? Why not keep the open documents on the client end and retrieve it locally when switching between tabs. That would be much faster. AJAX is fun, but I think unnecessary server requests should be kept to a minimum Is the pencil
Margins and more
Hi there. Wonderful product/service. Thank you. Thinking from a Word perspective, it would be really useful to be able to set the page margins etc so that there's more control of the placement of the text block on the page. I exported out a document I'd written into OpenOffice and then printed it off and it was flush right to the edge of the page - too close. True I could fix this up in whatever I export out to, but it'd be good to be able to manage it here. Columns would be useful for printed material.
