Bulk Editing a Check Box Field
I'm a new Zoho Creator user and I've been impressed with the service overall. Very robust and simple to use. But before I can bring my organization's data over fully, I need to figure out a solution to one problem ... I can't seem to figure out how to bulk edit a check list (multiple item) field without deleting the existing data in a record. This is a frequent need so I need figure out a work around. Auto mis-direction in Internet Explorer - link to form
I have a public view embedded on our website. There are links on the view that take people to a form. http://www.gormanfarm.org/volunteer.shtml When the links are clicked in Firefox or Chrome, they work as expected. When the links are clicked in IE, they re-direct to the wrong form. If you watch the navigation bar, you will see the correct URL for a second, and then it redirects. This is a huge issue for us. Duplicate AND Bulk Edit at the same time
I often need to add records that are exactly the same as others but have 1 or 2 fields that are different. Currently, I select each field and duplicate. I then select each duplicated field and bulk edit the different fields. Unfortunately, because some of my forms can't have duplicates, I can't get past the first step in this process. Saving Record Freezes ZohoCreator into Saving.....
I am copying some blocks/paragraphs of text into some records in ZohoCreator. On about the first 10 fields, everything goes well. Then at some point, when I paste and hit "save", Zoho just gets stuck on Saving.... Seems to happen alot. These records are for the most part about 400 words worth of stuff. An average word is mabe 5 characters, so the entire text is maybe 2000 characters. At first this was just annoying. Now its becoming a show stopper. Does anyone else have this problem? Where Saving
Solution Search Component
I have modified the Solutions view so that it contains the following fields Title Description Content By default the Search mechanism for solutions on all pages uses the input.keyword variable to search inside the 'Description' field. I want to make this more granular by searching only the Title and/or Content field. How can I change this? I have a date-only field and need to convert it to a date-time field. In this conversion, the date-time ends-up at 03:00 hrs. I have the time zone for my application set correctly. Example 18-Aug-2011 converts to 18-Aug-2011 03:00:00 rather than the expected 18-Aug-2011 00:00:00

Need help with On Edit - On Load criteria scripting
I've implemented a criteria script where my selection of dropdown1 filters the possible selections of dropdown2. I am trying to create a script for the On Edit - On Load condition that behaves as such: I would click edit for a record that had been previously created. That record would open with my earlier selections still intact. My goal is to change dropdown2. Hide Views in Menu Drop-Down List
I have an application where I've created a number of views to provide a data set for some reports. I do not want the views to be an item on the View drop down list as that information will only be used in their report form (Chart). How do I restrict the appearance of table views in an application without denying access to that data or associated forms. view option broken for form in view mode
Currently my links to other forms do not work in only one of my forms, but are fine in the others. clicking on the link begins to load the view but then the popup fails to open fully. Instead, the beginning of a popup is created. I've attached two images, one showing the normal viewing of a linked record and the second showing this bug. Please advise.

Zoho Creator, Google Sites and my payment gateway
I have built a Zoho Creator app that I have embedded into a Google Site. I need to link from the Site to a payment gateway. I am not able to integrate the Site to the payment gateway. The payment gateway requires the post query to emanate from my website domain, but since the request originates from a ZC iFrame wihtin my domain, the gateway rejects this. Is there a work-around? I am in India and local regulations practically prohibit the use of Paypal. Please help.

I'm tracking XML data feeds and when I copy the feed script from my XML document into my records Rich Text "Details" field, update the record, and reopen the record, the script is treated as if it were meant to be performed and is executed within the field. I just want whatever is entered into this Rich Text field to be left alone and look exactly the way I left it. Example: Original copied text... <name> John </name> Text after update... Automatically generate a record name?
Is it possible to automatically generate a record name based on selections within dropdown fields within it? I have a form that allows users to add records by first selecting 'A' from dropdown1 and then 'B' from dropdown2 and finally 'C' from dropdown3. Because this record is made up of selections from dropdowns it has no name or unique identifier other than the hidden ID created automatically. What I'd like is to create a single line field that would be automatically populated based on the choices
Just imported a application form into my website, why do people need to log-in to access the forms?
I just inserted the forms into the iframe of my joomla site, when I see it live, it requests a log in for people to fill out the application. Is there a way to make it available without a log in? that defeats the purpose... HELP??? this is for an animal adoption app. Thanks!
two form/views in a single view
Hi, I would like to know how I can have a view in which I have the summary of a selected record (Form 1) , and then below a list of records (Form 2) linked to the record summary listed above. An example of what I want to achieve is a work order record summary on top and then various daily update records linked to that work order ID. Putting data in two separate forms at once
I have an equipment form and an IP address form. Currently I have it set up that to connect these two forms, I have a lookup field on the equipment form where you choose the IP address and on the IP address form there is a lookup field for the equipment ID. However, that means I have to enter data in two places. What I'd like to do is when I put in the equipment ID on the IP Address form that it automatically will put that information in the IP Address form and in turn puts whatever that IP address
Change a shared app with no source to have access to source?
Hey i have been trying for way too long now to get an application to share properly and be able to update it and move the data. This seems to be impossible. I have several support tickets open on this one and have run out of time to fix this. Finally, I have decided to scrap this completely. 2 columns layout
I'm creating a form on Zoho Creator and I don't like the 2 columns layout. I didnt manage to change that. I can use 2 columns but then I should at least be able to insert a note that will be one column only. This note will introduces a new part of the form, and then 2 columns again. Is that possible? Slow calendar display
For the same data I have a Calendar view and a List view. The list view comes up in a few seconds. However the Calendar view took just over a minute and a half to show. There are only 68 records for the month of August. Why does it take so long and is there anything I can do to improve the speed? Herb Wexler
