Zoho CRM allows various modes of email correspondences for various purposes.
A user can integrate their email address with Zoho CRM using the IMAP/ POP3 protocols to sync their mailbox with the CRM, the admin can integrate their organization's domain to enable their reps send emails representing their brand. And, If a user possess multiple mailboxes for different contexts, they can use BCC dropbox. All of them serve unique purposes. Today, we are here with an update to the BCC dropbox.
BCC Dropbox, as mentioned above, is a feature that facilitates synchronization of emails sent from various email addresses with the records in Zoho CRM. This brings context to the record, even if the communication is dealt with outside the CRM system. All they have to do is simply add their unique email ID provided by the tool to the emails' BCC field, and the emails meant for synchronization will be associated with the records. Click

So, what are we updating?
To achieve email-to-record synchronization, the user must add all their email addresses under the "list of added email addresses" section of the configuration page.
Now, to add a layer of security, we are asking the users to verify the email addresses they add to this approved list.
Every email address added to the approved list must be verified with the code sent to their mailboxes.
There are three verification statuses you must know of:
- A tick mark ✅ symbolizes the added email address is verified for BCC usage.
- The "Click to verify" CTA calls the users to verify their email address. This appears when you add a new email ID to the list of approved email addresses.
- The "Initiate verification" status is for users and email addresses that are using BCC dropbox at the moment. To achieve future email-to-record synchronization, you have to verify your existing email addresses.
Note: All existing email addresses must be verified by 15th May, 2025, for uninterrupted use.

Summary of the behavior:
To continue using the BCC dropbox, existing email addresses added to the approved list of email addresses must be verified with the one-time code. Click Initiate verification. It is important to note that until verification is complete, all emails set from the initiated email addresses will remain unprocessed.
If the email address is already verified in other sources within Zoho CRM, then that email address will be verified instantly after initiation. You need no code to verify it like other email addresses.
- To approve new email address, add the address and click the CTA: Click to verify.
- You can use the email address that is verified to sync your emails with the records.
- The verification code is valid for 15 days from the day of initiation.
This verification is now rolled-out for all users in all DCs. Kindly ensure email verification is complete by 15th May, 2025 for uninterrupted use of BCC Dropbox.

Adding hyperlinks in CRM emails time automatically
It may just be me, but when I am writing an email to a lead, I find inserting a hyperlink very time consuming. Granted, I can use templates but there are a ton of scenarios where I might want to put a link in to an website that wouldnt require me to go though the effort of creating a template.
