Ciao why don't update the opportunity to edit user info direclty from the administrator account? Quite often we have account as info@.... and we still keep info as a name and its impossible to reconize them. Also is important to set the role, especially inside a big project. Could you help us? Default project view
I would like to set the project view for all of the employees and contractors so that they do not have to filter in order to see all the task lists. I'm using the Kanban view and setting up task lists with "To Do", "In Progress", "Testing" and "Done" the idea is that New tasks get moved across the screen as they are worked on. Timestamp or Unique ID for Chronological Timesheet Sorting
Hi there, I have created a demo project and then logged the tasks in order 1-24. If you notice, the sorting of the timesheet does not work properly between the different logging options (Timer/Log and Desktop/Mobile). Is there any implementation documentation for Zoho Projects with Outlook 365? I'd like to have the feature that Gmail has, where when an email is sent to Outlook 365 there is an option to add task to Zoho Projects.

To be more explicit, if i would like to get all users participating in a project i would need to get all projects first. Same thing with projects. Client User Question
I have a client user who is a part of two separate projects. I cannot add him to the second project under a different company. How do I get around this so that he can be a part of both projects?
user rights within project
How are user rights controlled within a project. It seems that if you grant access to the project the user can do most anything. We don't want all users to be able to add & delete tasks and in some cases may not want them to be able to update status. Perhaps just follow & add comments. It would also be nice to know if there were ways to keep certain project documents hidden except to certain users.
Dropbox integration says account already exists
I am in projects. I go to documents. I go to dropbox. I click configure dropbox sync. the only option is configure new dropbox account. click that and a window opens asking for permission for the app to access it. agree and it says account already exists and only allows me to close.
Tasks and Milestones Tab Not Appearing
Hi there, I just started a new account and am testing to see if I can transfer my company over. The Tasks and Milestones tab does not show beneath the Bugs tab in the project. I know this exists because I can see the screenshots in the Getting Started Guide, but I've looked everywhere in my project and cannot find a way to add tasks at all. Archived projects and storage limits
Been testing zoho and haven't been able to find an answer to a couple of vital questions. Each of our projects requires numerous large files (we could easily use the 30GB of space on 4 or 5 active projects), and we would require access to many of our archived projects long after they are completed. How to change the role from viewer to user?
Somehow one of our guys is a viewer on the project instead of a user and so cannot be assigned tasks. The HELP feature says either he changes his role, or as admin I can do it. If I am in the project and go to followers, I can see him there, but editing him can only change his role from manager to something else. I told him that he would have to do it, but we cannot find any place to do so. Thank you
Private Commenting
Can tickets have private comment fields? This would be useful especially when re-assigning tickets to other internal team members to provide additional information that the client should not see. Other issue tracking tools such as Bugzilla have this standard. Is this available? Thanks, Patrick
Allow for default setup of Project Customization items organization wide - please!
Having to adjust each project to turn off pages, bugs, etc. is a waste of time! Please allow users to set defaults for organization wide so if I turn of "pages" org-wide its automatically defaulted to off in an individual project. This is especially frustrating as all those items, "extras" are separate fees, if I say no to "upgrading", I should also have the option to turn off that constant "advertising"...Please!
Pushing Dates
Hello. I'm hoping I just can't find what I'm looking for... I changed the deadline of a Milestone and all the tasks in the associated task lists did not get pushed. I also don't see any way to mass select tasks and change the deadline or start date like you can change owner or mark them closed. Some of our task lists have 20+ tasks. We often have a project that will be put on hold for one reason or another. When it becomes active again we need to update the dates of 6 task lists each with 10-20
Client Overview of All Projects in Bugtracker
This is for bugtracker, but it's not an option in the Forum so placing this under Projects since they are similar. I have several projects for a particular client. I have customized all the fields for each project, love that feature. But the client has no overview of all the projects and tasks under projects. Is there a way to establish a dependency between tasks and the underlying subtasks. I've seen the question posted about updating the % completion of the master task based on subtasks and I think I understood the answer to be (N)o it doesn't do this. What about the task period/duration? It seems that the subtasks should update the master task period. Is this not supported either? Thanks.
Cannot Upload files to my Project
I am unable to upload files to my Projects documents. * Am to create Folders & Sub-folders. * Am able to move files between folders * Am able to select "Upload" from the top of the folders window * It transitions to the directory of my PC and i am able to navigate to the folder and to the file i want to Upload * On selecting the file an "Upload" window pops up in Zoho with the file i want to Upload in the box * I am able to select the "Start Upload" at the bottom left the pop up window * In the bottom
Convert to PDF - Button does not work
When I go to a project and click on Reports & Gantt Charts > Milestone Gantt then I try to Convert to PDF, the button is not working it keeps moving and I cannot click on it. Browsers Tested: Chrome, IE, Firefox
Task length
If I create a task which starts on Monday and ends on Sunday the week after, Zoho calculates the duration of the task to be 11 days. I have configured working days to be Mon-Fri and not Sat/Sun. But I am quite certain that two work weeks equals 10 days, not eleven. I notice that if I schedule the activity from Monday to the next Friday, the result is 10 days. But if I chose Sunday, the result is 11 days. Bug or feature? Best Regards Johan
Disable Client Access - System Wide
Our firm uses Zoho Projects for work we conduct for clients. Our process is proprietary and confidential, however, and it appears to be commonplace to have dialogues regularly appear to allow for the invitation to clients in addition to internal users. Is there anyway to disable/remove, either on a client level, or preferably a system-wide level, the option to ever have a client receive communications from it? There is no scenario where we would like them to receive communications from Zoho Projects.

Hiding the iCal description
Is there any way to omit the Description field from the iCal output? And, if not, please consider that a feature request. The Upcoming Events widget for Wordpress displays an iCal list of events. The Bug / Request Tracker is often the entry point into a project management tool. Once the request had been analysed, one wants to transform the demand into a task for the developer or a dedicated project manager, without having to copy all the information collected during the request analysis available within the bug report tool. How do I access my project activity feed with RSS?
I want to post the activity of my project to my customers on my external website. I can do this if RSS feed is available. I can't find any information on this and everything I search for is 5+ years old on this subject.

No Zoho Projects buttons at the bottom of email
We have enabled Zoho Projects for many people in our organization, and it appears that im the only one that doesn't have the email integration buttons at the bottom of my email. It just shows "Zoho Projects - Project Management, Collaboration & Issue Tracking Software"
Gmail Contextual Gadgets for Projects now working
Hi, We recently signed up for paid versions of Zoho CRM and Projects. I registered online using my email account for both products and then afterwards learnt about the Zoho Contextual integration for Gmail so went and added both Zoho CRM and Projects into our Google Apps Domain. I can log into both products fine through a browser and use them fine. BUT, when I try to access either of these through the Gmail menu (shown in screenshot) I get the permissions error "You do not have permission to access
Subtasks and Summary Tasks
Dear all, When reading about subtask on https://www.zoho.com/projects/sub-task.html I see the term "Summary Task" mentioned. What is this and where do I find it in Zoho Projects? This page also talks about a double-arrow button used for indenting or outdenting tasks to create subtasks. This button should be visible by hovering the mouse over a task. Subfolder creation not working
I have been given Manager status for a project. When I try to create a Subfolder, the creation dialogue box pops up, but when I click the CREATE button, nothing happens. I've tried in three different browsers. In Chrome, the button doesn't even seem to operate; in Firefox and IE 11, the button seems to operate but the dialogue box just stays on screen and nothing happens. Is there a browser setting I need to change?
