Hello Have you had anyone complain yet about the Importing tool not working? I have tried it multiple times with just "one" candidate and have yet to see it upload the persons information. Thank you,
Active Candidates
I am the admin for Zoho Recruit. I entered one job, one department and several candidates. Then I set up another user. When she logs in, she can see the job description but doesn't see any of the candidates that I've entered. What's up with that? I'm assuming that I can use Recruit to permit several of my employees to peruse resumes and provide comments about candidates. Is this a valid assumption?
Reporting
Hi, Is there any reporting functionality with Zoho recruit? I was hoping for some feature where I can export all of the current open job requirements with the option of filter down per consultant as well. Is this possible? Glen.
Custom from emails
On the June 4th update it says "You can add Custom "From" address to send emails." How do you do that? The from email field is still greyed out and locked. Thank you.
Tabular display of Job Openings, Candidates, etc.
When dealing with large numbers of Job Openings, Candidates, Clients, etc., the current summary display of each record is difficult to manage. A tabular view with sortable column headings would be much easier to manage -- as is done in Zoho CRM.
Create, View/Edit and Delete Email Templates

Can candidiates apply for more than one job opening without their information being edited in Zoho recruit each time they submit the form?
We currently have our regsitration form attached to our job openings with quite a few questions on it including reference details etc. is there any way that a candidiate can applyfor more than one job opening without having to complete the whole form again? We can put a note at the top of the form suggesting candidates who have already registered only complete the mandatory fields but if they do this it will update their file on Zoho and delete all the answers from their previous submission. Please
Make the Contact Address field required
Is it possible to make the Contact Address field required in Zoho Recruit? It's not possible to delete this field and we want to always collect a Contact Address from applicants. If this is not currently possible, please can the developers add it as an urgent feature request. In general it would help if all permanent fields (i.e. those you can't delete) have a full set of options (make required, not, etc).
Resume Parser - PDF
Hi - I've started using Resume Parser and it says in the instructions that it supports importing PDF files but I haven't had success with any PDF that I've attempted to upload. Can anyone help out with why that would be?
Customized fields in "Work Details" and "Educational Details" sections
It would be very helpful to add/edit/delete fields in the "Work Details" and "Educational Details" sections. (This is especially important for the education section since it's actually illegal in the state of California to ask an applicant for their "year of graduation" since that could be used to infer a candidate's age.) Using the standard employment application from ADP, Inc. (a large, multi-national payroll and HR outsourcing firm), a more useful set of fields would include those shown below.
Email address
Is it possible to change the from email address when sending emails? There are times when I'd prefer the email to come from a general recuiting email address as opposed to an individual person. Thank you.
Issue with required picklist fields
Slide 5 .O {font-size:149%;} When a picklist field is not required, the displayed value is "-- Select --". This is great. However, when a picklist field is required, the default value becomes the first item on the list of choices. Unfortunately, some applicants will accept that value "as is" without selecting the correct response. Ability to insert text within the application form
So that instructions and miscellaneous comments can be added to the online application form, it would be very useful to provide administrators with the ability to add text. Perhaps this could be done using a "text box" type field that could be inserted at the desired points -- in the same way that fields are currently added in the customizable forms.
"Check box" field type for customized forms
Although the picklist field type is appropriate for cases in which a single selection is required, a "check box" field type would be very helpful for cases in which multiple choices may be required.
Ability to attach "pre-screen" questionnaire to Job Opening
In order to better filter qualified applicants, it would be very helpful to attach a user-customized "pre-screen" questionnaire to individual job openings. Because the questions are job-specific, it isn't appropriate to add them to the main Job Opening form. (This is a common feature in most ATS applications.)
Advanced Search >> Random field order ???
The "Advanced Search" capability is very good. The only challenge is that the list of fields seems to be in a random order, making it difficult to use if there are a number of fields in the list. It would seem that the best option would be to display fields in the order shown on the customizable form (ideally even with the section header in bold) or, alternatively, in alphabetical order. Security issue in email from Zoho Support Team
I just observed one of the emails from 'Zoho Team Member' (support@zohorecruit.com) and because it landed into the 'Spam' folder I was scrutinizing its Internet Headers. The email is signed by the actual member (in the body). In my case it was by someone called 'Marichamy'. However the Internet Headers are too very generic. Can Job opening ID: customised in Zoho Recruit ? Instead of the automatic No assigned to the Job Openings, can we assign our own IDs ( a mix of alphanumeric) so that we can identify the openings more easily
Can a new candidate be added via our own website ?
We know "Job Opening" can be published in our own website and viewed/applied by prospective candidates. Is this following scenario also possible ? A candidate completes/ uploads his resume via the " Add candidate " tab embedded in our website so that he does not have to go to Zoho Recruit to do the same ? i.e When the candidate selects "Add candidate" in our website , your Adding Candidate form is presented and the candidate completes it . Currently I have 15000 records on my database in Zoho recruit and the only way I can use ZOho reports functionality is by exporting all records 1000 at a time. I love Zoho reports and want to be able to make use of it fully. Do you have any suggestions to solve this issue for me? Thanks Nishad

Can a candiate apply for more than one job via an embed form?
If our web page has multiple job posting published, can a candidate apply for more than one of them? Right now it appears that each candidate form requires a unique email address, which means that if I have applied for a job already then I cannot submit my info for another job unless I provide another email address. Is this a bug or am I missing some setting to allow this? Thanks! -Daniel
Publish in website page never loads
Whenever I click on the publish on website link in the sidebar of my job openings page, I get a blank page with the refresh arrows just continuously loading. The page never loads. I've tried 3 different browsers and clearing cache and cookies. Any ideas?
More questions on Recruit paid version
Have a few more questions before subscribing to the paid version 1. Until our own web site comes online , how we do get the candidate to view and apply to the jobs i.e We want the candidate to view ONLY the Job Opening page and apply. 2. We are planning to subscribe to a paid version of Zoho Recruit. Have a couple of questions : 1. is the application editable i.e can we add new fields , remove unwanted ones etc 2. If we initially have only one user account , can this application be accessed by one other user from a difference PC? Once we find it works for us, we will sbscribe to mroe accounts 3. Removing a User from Recruit
A recruiter in our company was terminated today. I have followed the HELP instructions for deactivating, but I cannot gain access to the area which allows me to deactivate the individual. I need to remove this person immediately. Your help is greatly appreciated.
Text of submit button on job application form
Is it possible to change the text of the submit button so it no longer says "Add"? It's a bit weird for a job applicant to be pushing an "Add" button to apply for a job. It would make more sense to say something like "Apply", "Submit", or "Send Application". From the applicant's perspective, they don't really think about it as "adding" anything.
Problem creating Picklist
I am trying to create a pick-list with all the countries to have a filed for Nationality and another pick-list with all countries for country of Residence. Both to be implemented on my candidate form. I use the following country list: http://www.guavastudios.com/downloads/countries/countries.txt and copied it in the option dialog box. Once I click SAVE, the button get's grey and I can wait for hours, nothing happens. Your assistance would be appreciated. Regards, Loic

we should be allowed to create multiple forms for different jobs and candidates
