I often get an error message that records could not be updated. There is an option to click for details, but when I do, details are out of view in the box and can't be seen.

I would like to retrieve data from html pages using xpath. With Google Spreadsheets this is possible using this kind of code: =importXML("http://www.google.com/search?q=live", "//a[@class='l']/@href") The problem with Google's service is their limitation of external calls. I've read Zoho's documentation about retrieving external data, however I don't quite get this. It looks like one can only fetch xml files, not html pages? Is there a solution to this? Semicolon Bug in Grid View Mode
Hello, I would like to report a problem / bug. When a user fill out a form to insert a semicolon in some field, no problems. But when I view this form in grid mode, and try to update it, the semicolon induces the system to interpret it as a jump to the next field, so that, in theory, data filling in "move" a field forward. Is there a way to load a form from a script other than the openUrl? I want to redirect the user to another form where they enter default data when they first start using the application, but once it is populated they no longer need to see that form. Can not Share Views - Error: You are not allowed to view / edit the script.
When I edit views & forms, there is no 'share' tab - I am logged in as admin user. If I click on 'View Definition' for the view, I get the error: You are not allowed to view / edit the script. I finally found the 'share' tab so that I could assign non-admin user permissions to the custom view I created. However, whenever I click on the share tab it takes me to the 'Add Request Via Email' form & the share tab goes away. Thanks! -Randy

Linked To Asset: null - Can't link Requests to Assets
When I create a Request, I assign it an Asset. But when I view the request it shows: Linked To Asset: null When I edit the Request, I see that the Asset is assigned. I don't get it. When I change the Request so that no Asset is assigned, the main view of the request shows: Linked To Asset: -None How can I get Requests linked to Assets? Thanks. -Randy

Rebranding on an Application by Application Basis vs. Subscription
I would like the ability to rebrand applications just like we can now with the added ability to do it on an application by application basis. If I develop an application for use by XYZ company, for example, they might want their logo and URLs displayed versus only being able to use my subscription based logo and URLs, etc. If I had 10 applications, I might have 10 different logos, for example. I have a stateless form. It has a hidden field to accept a URL parameter. One URL works and the other does not. Export data from Zoho Cretor view to Zoho Spreadsheet
I export data from one of my Zoho Creator private views (e.g. Mevi) as a CSV file not requiring login, but Zoho Spreadsheet does not want to accept it through its 'Link external data' feature giving me the message 'Problem in configuring WebData when linking external data'. problem with hide field from others option
I want to let you guys know if a field is set to "hide from others", it often wont update properly. I noticed this because I couldn't find certain records in a view that had a criteria based on it. For me it was a field called Job Year and it updated on user input of Job Date. After, I was trying to find completed jobs in a given year. May I suggest getting rid of the "hide from others" option. It's just as easy to hide it within the on load script. I don't really see the point of having both. Thanks.

HTML View for each record
How do I generate an HTML view for each record I have? I was hoping to use only one page and depending on the record ID, the HTML page would show the fields specific to that record. I tried adding a "thisID" parameter to the HTML view but that is a type string which can't be compared using == to the type int ID of the record. I want to be able to look at a list view, click on a link in it and have an HTML page open with a summary view (or something along this line) of that record. Is this possible?
Fetcing a SUM would be very helpful
I would love to be able to fetch a sum instead of just seeing it in the view! Using deluge script, I was thinking that if you used the "for each record" to fetch the specific numeric values from a collection/form. Than maybe a built-in numeric function called "SUM ()" to Sum all of those a values to return a specific "SUM" value to a field. Can't find View to edit
Hello, If I click on a request, I see a field called due date. This field is really Deadline_date which is auto-calculated from Priority. I wanted to have user selected Due dates so I created my own field called "Target Due Date". I managed to replace "Due Date" with my custom "Target Due Date" in almost all views. Initializing a timestamp data type in a dropdown list fails
I have a date field in one form and use this data to populate a drop-down list in the second. By using the second form "edit - on load" event, I save the previously selected value in a variable then repopulate the list based on other selected values in the second form. I then try to set the date value back to what I saved in the variable and it fails to work. I end up with a correctly populated drop-down but no value initially selected. Filter View using URL
Could someone help me construct this openURL statement. The image below kind of shows what I'm trying to do. When the clicks the conflict button on the bottom right of the screen, the application will run the openURL function that will filter the view by the Associate appearing in the lookup (near bottom right of main form) field as well as filtering by the date (date only) appearing in the Start Time field. Was there a recent change in how combo boxes could be updated? Until recently, I could use script to add records to a table and if the combo box was "-Select-" it would save it without issue. Modify Edit Record Appearancein a View
So i have a really large form. I have many views. One of my view I have set up to see certain data from the form, only about 4 fields. I want to be able to quickly change a couple fields inside this view. I have only included the 5 fields in the grid view and it looks fine in that view.
