Summary field not updating on Edit
I have a summary field that collects the info from other fields. It works fine but when users Edit the info the summary is not updated. Funny thing is that when I do it (test entry) it works, but not on a user level. (I am admin, they're users) The field is not updatable on edit script either. I have other applications for which it works, but I can't get round to figuring out what could be wrong...

Autofilter for Non-dropdown fields
Hi, I have fields like Firstname , Last name ( single line fields) I woudl like to have a filter for these two fields in the view. But it seems i can only get auto filters for "dropdown fields" and for custom filter i have to say ::lastname:: -- equals (etc as listed) --- some value. I want a filter for all the last names in the view. I shave shared the application "Testing filters" with suport Form name --> Names Please advice, Thank you, Regards. Opening files shared to me
I see the files that are shared to me in read/write by another user. But I can not open them. If I check the box to perform an action nothing happens.

Help needed w/ exporting
Hi all, I need to export a view to get it into DB and make reports, but I cannot export the spreadsheet file (just blank screen when I do). Also, if I export the same file as .csv it completely jumbles up the data thus making it useless. I need to export the data as a spreadsheet, but when I click the download button I get a blank screen. What is the fix for this? I need to make reports asap. Please comment! :!:
Data import
I need to import 54000 records to a DB I've set up in Zoho Creator. I've tried .xls, .tsv, .csv formats. None of these work properly when importing records containing national Danish characters. You just get the "lozenge" thingy w the ? inside of it. I've then tried to import data in chunks via the past-process. Doing this I can be lucky to get some chunks of data into the base, but the next time I do it the import process fails w an error message stating Zoho will get back to me on this. I haven't

Hi You guys at Zoho have created better an reliable text fields in the latest update in creator and lastest in forum. Thanks! If possible, I suggest that you add this to forms in ZC. Email Form Data Script
Hi, I am trying to send form data as an email in my application. I have successfully been able to add the "sendmail" script (default written), and send an email in this way. I would however like to be able to send inputted form data in the email. I have searched the Help sections, and the example scripts do not seem to work. Thanks Phil :)
new application with creator
xls new application brings HTTP 550 error in new window. named application appears but is not loaded. Deleting the "failed" application also brings new error box. I've shared with support on edit. Please advise.
Not able to create from xls
I've been successful in getting the xls form into the system from my saved file however when I hit the finish button the window pops up with a 550 internale error. The name shows up on the applications loaded section with "no applications" loaded. Even deleting the name brings an error message. Can you please advise.
Remove View Link
Greetings and thanks as always for great app... Is it possible to remove the "View" link that appears along side each record in a view? Since the link only shows a summary of the fields already present in the view, it seems more to be in the way for me... OR...can I determine the fields that show in the summary popup and can they be different than the ones in the view? (For example, the view shows the name and date, but when they click on the "View" link next to the record, the summary popup shows

email data from several selected records
I want the user to check several records in a View with the checkbox that shows on the left. Then choose an Action from the Dropdown on top of the view to email the information from each marked record. How do I test if a record was checked? Exporting Totals from Views
Hi, I was wondering if it would be possible to get the sums that are produced in the normal view exported to excel / pdf as well, not just the raw data. It would save a considerable amount of time and deluge scripting that would be involved in creating all the totals as actual cells. Thought I'd just put it out there. Great app!!

Form footer button border color needs to be changable...
I am trying to change the color of my Zoho Creator form but have found no way to change the button border color for the "submit" and "reset" buttons. They remain the same dark blue of the default color scheme. I am under the impression that the form color changing is new to Zoho Creator 3.0. Was this an oversight, or am I overlooking something? Can I create in Zoho creator a way were I can email lists or contacts I have selected in the application
Here is a full explanation, I am trying to use this application as a functional contact database with the ability to do two things: 1) Create lists/groups based on other of my specifications 2) Send an email to that group, ideally after I have selected the group and or contacts I can click and it will send me to a compose message section and from there I send the email, etc. Let me know if anyone has done this, a bit new to this myself. No email action if update form via email

Form not working properly
When I submit a form, there is no apparent action (and no message telling me that "Data was added successfully") and the form stays open. The database (and the views) are correctly updated. This bug appears on Firefox, Opera and Epiphany. Thanks.
using Lookup based on date
I have a database in creator that I enter information on a few forms through out the day. I was trying to use the lookup function to get some information if the dates were the same. I did not know how to type this up in "deluge criteria". Thanks in advance for any help!
Linking for to several entries in other one
Is there a way to link to more than one entry in another table? Allow me explain myself. Lets say I have a from payments which I want to charge to a project. The easy part is when that payment is fully for a project. However, in many occasions a payment is made that correspond to more than one project. Can you change the size of a multi-select box on a form?
From within Zoho (and not an html view), can I increase the size of a multi-select box on a form? Right now it's only showing three items, and I'd like it to be deeper and show more if possible. Is there something I can do within the form definition to make it display more than three in the box? Also, any way to make the box wider? Form Dialog Positioning Problem in iFrames
If you have a long form (one that renders over 200opx) and the form is embedded into another site, then the javascript calculations which position the processing, and validation failure dialogs do not show them in the visible screen which is scrolled to the bottom, but rather show the dialogs at the top of the screen, out of view of the user, who then thinks the form is not working at all. How to join two forms in one view?
Hi All, My goal is to create an view for one form/table that contains referenced fields from another form/table. For example - I want to show the list of employees, and the name of the department from the departments table, referenced via the department ID that is contained in both tables. Application Actions onLogin and onLogout
It would very very useful to have some Application Action access points. For example an Application Action=>onLogin could be used to fetch user attributes from an applications user table. This in turn could be the foundation for developer inspired access schemes providing user, role and group granularity with very little effort. Same goes for Application Action=>onLogout. I could provide share/unshare type access control right down to the field level right now, with such a access point for scripting.
