Help: How to fill Checkbox field with data from another form
I'm trying to populate the values of a checkbox field (EstRequest.Send) with data from another form with criteria. My source is team_member[role == "Contractor"].name. The destination form EstRequest has 2 fields: Job & Send I need to be able to check one or more names and send email to each on submit. Can you please show me how to code this? Many thanks. Frank

Very strange. I have a private appication in which two views are public. This worked like a charm for a few months but since this week there's a problem. There's a list of available jobs and when the visitor clicks on more info the go to the summary view of that record. Well at least that was how it used to work. Now when they click on more info there's a n error message saying: You are not authorised to access this in Zoho Creator. Go to Home I can't post an url here, but I need a soluiton asap
Shared application not seen by users...
One of our shared applications is not being seen by our users. When they sign in they come to the home page with no links to any shared applications. I have shared the application with Support so you can look at the application if needed.
Delete record not deleting entire record
I'm using an on delete script to delete Child record of a parent record. These records are related by a field called parentID. delete from stdStyleDesign[ parentID == input.stmID ]; where stmID is the ID of the parent record. This call results in clearing the parentID "field" of the stdStyleDesign record but NOT deleting the record. Is this a bug or am I missing something? regards, Tim Sadler
The Reason of error for embed code
After the upgrade of Zoho last weekend, there is an error for embed code which leads to displaying error of the embed code: The generated code by Zoho looks like this: --------- <iframe height='500px' width='100%' name='zoho-xxx' frameborder='0' scrolling='auto' src='https://creator.zoho.com/xxx/xxx/form-embed/xxx/'></iframe> ---------- Pls notice, the single quotes ' should be double quotes ". Can't download attachments on Zoho Creator Marketplace
I am having a problem. When I go to http://creator.zoho.com/public/requirements and click on "Download attachments", I get redirected to http://creator.zoho.com/DownloadFile.do?filepath=/&sharedBy=zohospace and then nothing happens, just a blank, white screen. I am using XP and IE 7. What is the content of those "attachments"?

Hello: I've created a simple Creator app and have embedded the forms on a web page. When I access the page for the first time and log in, I get a message that says "Loading...please wait" that won't go away. I have to manually refresh the page to make it work. Any suggestions? Thanks! Dan

contains() stopped working in my app
the contains() function seems to have stopped working; at least on multiselect fields. Please check my app: oncalendar user: t.e.sadler it is open to support use the function f_testStatusTypes with an input value of "10". this should be true. Automated Email: "From" other than Admin?
Hello, I have a Help Desk Ticket application, where when a ticket is submitted, I'd like it to send an email notification to one of our techs who will be auto-assigned the issue. BUT I do not want this email to come from my email address (which is linked to the zoho.adminuserid). I have created a second email account such as "Admin@blahblahblah.com" that I'd like all the emails sent out from this application to be from.... How do you suggest I go about doing this? Thanks

Hello, I would like to create an app which enables people interested in horse racing to have a follow up of their activity : winnings/loss, best horsetrack, most profitable trainers, etc etc. I would like my app to be public. Everyone could save his own results to have customized and personal statistics. To do that, should they need individually to register as Zoho members, or could I build this app with only my Zoho user, and the people connecting with their emailID ?? I hope I am understandable...
Cannot see that users are ONLINE
When I try to check which users are logged in to my app by going to Account Settings and the Manage Users tab, no user other than the Admin is shown as Online. The same list appears on the Developer Zone in the My Users pane. Will this feature ever work?
HELP! record not exporting to xls!
Hi Wizohoes, Never faced a problem with this before, but the records aren't exporting in XLS format after having SORTED (asc or desc) AND searched ( by date after) exports fine with only the Search by date and export filtered records.. But when both the Sort and the Search have filtered the records Export isnt bringing up a save window neither in firefox nor IE.. Kindly advise.. Thanks :) without bugs.. it wouldnt be as fun..

I tried in two different computers with the same results, my colleague has no problems using his computer. The list did not display automatically, the filter is not working nor does any of the options in the list view (add, buk edit, duplicate, etc.) I click on them and simply nothing happens. ZCreator 3.0 Display multi-day events in calendar
Hello, I'm building an event calendar and would like to show all the days of multi-day events. My form has Start and End date fields - how do you suggest building this such that the event is displayed on every day between the Start and End? From what I've investigated, this is not readily possible using the Calendar view and date-field. Users can't get in application
My users can no longer access my Creator application. Here's a comment "I'm sorry to say the ZOHO bio thing I bitched at you about the other day hasn't improved. embedded form customisation
When customising the background color of an embedded form, the background color of the body element (set with the class .body-class) loaded into the iframe is set as white. This means that if I want to embed the form with an iframe without scrollbars, any extra space I have left in my iframe to account for revealing fields gets rendered in white instead of the background color I have selected for customisation. Can not Disable File Upload Field in on Load section
Hi: I have a File Upload field in a form that I would like to Disable (in order to prevent abuse while this Form's Application is set for "Public" access). After I insert the Disable command in the Form's onLoad section (both, within the on Add and on Edit sections) ... and then try to Save the script, I get an error response ... enable/disable fields is not applicable for the file upload field ... can someone at Support provide an exaplanation for this ... either that it is a bug ... or how to prevent
Condition based on position of form in the layout
Hi all, I love this software, congratulations! Is it possible in ZC 3.0 to specify an [If] condition (under a Form script) based on the position of the form is the application layout? Example of what I have in mind: if the Form is under the "Budget" section in my layout, then I would like the field "Status" in that particular form to be automatically set to "Budget" when creating a new record accessing this form from that particular position in the layout. Cannot Add New Records
I can no longer add new records to one of my applications. Whenever I hit add it returns me to my home page which lists my applications. I cannot edit older records either. My other application still works fine. Any idea what could be wrong?

Access To Form Records for Query
I don't know if this is possible, but I wanted to try and create a script so that on user edit on a field say product ID it will query all the current data and if it finds the same product ID it will auto populate the other fields. This if fairly straight forward in an acess / sql environment. Something along the lines of if forma.productID (in entry) = formB.productID then forma.description = formb.description etc... Basically creating linked tables. But with the structure of creator I don't know
