"Cancel Submit" in validate script
I am modifying the records of one form from another, as explained in this post: http://landofzohocreator.com/2008/05/04/edit-a-private-record/. But I don't want to post any records for the second form (from which I am modifying the first form). So I kept a "Cancel Submit" at the bottom of the "Validate" script. But because of some "Logical Unit of Work" it seems that "Update Records" also don't work with "Cancel Submit". Hope I am clear and you can understand my problem. Please suggest me some solution

Update records via a web link
Can i update a record using a UR link? Say for instance i have a To-Do item & on the day the application sends an email asking if the item is completed or not. Now rather than updating this record by going to the site, selecting the record, morfiying & saving it. Can i simply send a URL link in the email, so that the user clicks on it to update the record? dataguru
Verification code problem
Hello, I have a form set up for entering data into zoho creator that uses the verification code to prevent spam. When you type in the verification code, it always says it is wrong. Is there anyway to add an image to a form created in zoho? I know there is an image drag field, but to be honest with you, I could not figure out what it is for. Please let me know if you can add images to the forms. Using Creator API to communicate between two Creator apps
Hello, I am trying to think of a workaround for the inability to add new records via script, that does not involve sending emails. One possible solution might be if the Creator API's can be used to talk between two Creator Apps or two forms in a single application.Has anyone tried this or have any ideas about how it might work. Column Sizes

Data Import Problem
Dear Zoho Admin I have my address in VB6 anb MS Access. There are several columns in add.book table which i need to import in my new zoho application. but there are two fields (Postal address and comment box) which I normally fill by pressing enter for each new line. As Zoho creator accepts only xls or csv or tsv data so it show an error while importing. Embedding View in Website

Dynamic links in a view
Hello, I don't know if is possible to do: Put a link in a view based on form1, clicking in a specific link into a record open the form2 and automatically put value in lookup field (ID number of the record clicked in view). I have seen dynamic links in a view link but not in a form link. Put a link in a view to change a boolean field inside the record. Encoding problem at form definition window
I have inserted notes into my form. The text of the notes contains special characters, like "�, �, ő, etc.. Everything is OK using the on-line interface. But when I open the form definition, the encoding of the notes goes wrong. Looks like when you display an UTF-8 text in an ISO 8859 standard or whatever. If I click on save, all my notes are messed up. Now I can not use your form definition editor!!! Cheers, Peter

Serious problem
Greetings... I have a SERIOUS problem...I have worked for several weeks now creating an app in Creator and realize now that I have made a mistake and the app will NOT let me fix it. I declared an email field as both unique and required and I realize now that I need it to neither of those. I have tried to change it through the form edit window AND in the script view but I get a SQL error (in the script view...in the form view it just won't save the changes). Zoho Creator Problems
Hello I have set up Forms and Views on the Creator and had already submitted 18 entries into one of my forms. Last night I was trying to edit one of the form values in the form to allow for seperations in the phone section. When I edited that, I got a message that there was a problem and that it was aborted. Now, I only have a few values in that form and I can't even access the view. Is there a way to get this information back on my view without recreating it all? president

Creating a prioritizable to-do list
I am really enjoying this software. I did run into a snag - I'd like to be able to use records in one table to represent tasks and have some (simple) way to reorder them. I can set a numeric field "Priority" and edit it to change the displayed sort view but opening each record to modify the sequence is very cumbersome. Can you think of a way to permit the user to change the sequence of records in a list?
inputting data
I love this and I know that I can get it to do what I need it to, I just can't figure out how! I'm trying to input data into a form. I want to be able to be able to import a spread sheet with item numbers, descriptions and distributors weekly. How do I write a script so that when I import data the distributor names are recognized and if the name is repeated a new record isn't formed same for if that item is already associated with that distributor. I've been at this for days and I'm not getting scripting.

I have two forms, "Form_Stores" it is a simple data base with some fields like "Name", "country", state, City.... And another called "Form_Mobile". Where I use to write some data with my mobile when I go to visit my costumers. The problem is that each time I fill "Form_Mobile" I have to write the name of the store, so my question is if it is possible to create few dropdown filters in "Form_Mobile" to let me choose the right Store by filtering in this order. Hi I have a Form(MachDetail) in which I have a lookup table that looks up in a form(EmplDetails). The form(EmplDetails) is a table of all employees in our company that has the tables: Name Deptartment plant MailId Local no.
