Reverse lookup from child to parent
In my app I have a list of Parents, each of which is linked to one or more Children through a multi-select Lookup field in the Parent form. I can make views based on Parent, which can show values from the Child form as well. This is excellent. However I also need some views based on Child, which show each child in a separate row, with their Parent's name and other information. To work around this I put a single-select Lookup field in Child that links back to the Parent, but then when creating a new

Database Creation
When I try to import data into the database, creating a new application, it asks me to Click FINISH when done, however there is no "Finish" box present to click. timholt

String index error solved-ish
Hi, I asked why I was receiving these errors when submitting certain URLs. I know now that it has nothing to do with the URLs, it's the text used to link them. On each occasion the field contained the word 'target'. My best guess is that Zoho thinks I'm trying to enter HTML code and is getting confused. If you abbreviate the word or omit it altogether the problem goes away. dreamkatcha
Can't edit notes
Hello. I added a note in my application to explain to the user what to put in a field. When I tried to edit the text of the note I got this error message: "Error Occured. we are sorry for the inconvenience. Please try after some time or refresh the page and try again." I shut down, and try again later many times but it still gives me the error. Any ideas? Thanks!
Constant Creator Downtime
Any idea what's been going on the last couple of days? We are constantly having trouble accessing our Creator database. The last couple of days have had very intermittent connections to the server. All other websites work fine.
Great help to prints
Hi I think it would be a great idea to have a "print" tab in the "record summery" just beside the "edit" icon. This would be a good an easy way to print my information. Today I copy and paste into Word in order to have a proper look of my prints. BR Dennis
Trying to create a squash court booking system
Trying to create a squash court booking system - Are there any templates available for such a Booking System or a simple Resource Booking system. All my app has to do is to have a form for people to enter details, dates , times opponents and then check that no one else has booked the court on that day at that particular time - later on I want to add functionality to enable membership number checking so only members can book but at the moment all I need is something that checks court availability
Errors when trying to update

How to wrap-around the description of the fields
I was instructed earlier to use " " (less than br greater than) to wrap around my description fields. It worked great until yesterday. Now my field description has the brackets and the br in it where I want the wrap around to take effect. Is this a system problem or something that I should be doing differently. salsababies

Copy an application that's shared to me

Ok I realized I can't wait for SSL because I need to do subscription renewals online next month, so I decided to ditch creator and go with Caspio Bridge www.caspio.com Caspio Bridge is pricey, $8 per data page per month, but it's worth the SSL and it's cheaper than my Verisign cert! Desperately seeking SSL
I would like to add my voice to the people who need SSL. So my bad, I created 3 applications to register people for classes in which they input their credit card numbers. Even though the vast majority of the people are technically challenged, i.e., grandmothers, health care workers, HR workers, etc., much to my surprise, many of them will not register online because they can see it is not https and they see that it is not secure. Creator will not import data
Tried many times, in both Firefox and Safari. My tab-separated data seems to be properly digested, but there is no "Finish" button displayed. Therefore I cannot comply with the directions which say "Click 'Finish' when you are done." Therefore, the new database is created with only a name; no forms, no views, and no data. bobsc

"Import Data" button not working - Zoho Creator
Greetings, when clicking on the "Import Data" button nothing happens. I am unable to import external data into my private application "Best Climate". I have tried in Firefox2, IE6, IE7 to no avail. Steps Taken: - Go into my form - Select "More Actions" - Click on "Import Data" By the way, the other two options under the More Actions menu ("Embed in your website" and "Permalink") are working. Data from 2 different views deleted at the same time
Hi, I wanted to create 2 separate views on my Social Network Application, and have different field on each. But when I deleted some contacts in one view (Fitness Social Networking) it also deleted them from the other one (Social Networking), and I didn't want that data to get lost from the other view. "Update Records" in Script Builder Hangs
Regardless of what form I am working in, when I add "update record" to a script and go to edit the script it dims the screen gray as if it is about to load the dialog box and then just sits there and does nothing. I am forced to closed out my browser and log back into my database, but it still does not work after that.

Subforms?
Zoho Creator is very cool! While attempting to do a quick demo, it occured to me it would be very useful to be able to do forms with one-many relationships - example would be a meeting tracker with an attendance list. You would want to enter data about the meeting (time, date, subject, etc.) then have a sub-form or embeded form that allows to enter attendees. This would represent a one-to-many relationship in the backend datastore. It there anyway to do the above now? My attempt has two forms where

Sorting anomaly
I've got a column that won't sort as expected. I have a date field st_Contact_Date which a user enters a date into. Editing label names has no effect
Hello, I created a form. Then looked at the application view and it looked fine. However, if I decide to make some edits and change the label name (on the Form tab) I noticed that the Application View does not reflect the change on SOME of the changed fields. Also, when I go into the "Access this Application" I notice that the changes are also not reflected. Anyone else experience this?

Zoho Creator Import prob w/ cvs file
When I try to create a new database by importing a .cvs file, it tells me to press "Finish" to finalize the database...but there is no "Finish" button on the page. Am I missing something? jeffyboy22
