Every so often, the plain text fields in my Creator database simply disappear. Is this a glitch or am i doing something wrong? salsababies
Search Form
I have been reading the Zoho Creator documentation and drawn a blank. Can anyone point me to an example of a layout that has a search form. ie. A layout similar to the form in a database that can be filled in and used as the filter for a lookup in a view. It would be really neat if the search form was the top half of the creator display and the filtered list was below. The default would be for all the database records to show in the list view until some filtering data has been entered.

Suggestion - Backup and DB integration
I'd like to have a backup feature on Zoho Creator. It would be very useful to have a feature that creates, for example, a zip file with all tables (forms) on application. The table format may be Excel files, cvs's, .mdb (why not?). I'd like to repeat a suggestions that I've already seen on forum: Integration DB - Creator. In the field definition, there is a Permissions box which is supposed to hide the box to others. For some reason, it doesn't seem to work for me. The field is present for all to view... any thoughts on how to correct this? salsababies

Bug in charts
Hi Zoho Guys, I have an application, Timesheets�already shared with support. In the view Admin Timesheets view�when I select Charts view and stacked column or stacked bar chart, I get the same result as per a normal column or bar chart. The category variable is �Course�and the numerical variable is �Rate��. Any ideas? Thanks Andrew

I have an application where I want to display a list of records. It appears that the mobile version of Zoho does not do lists. Am I missing something? mark
Bulk edit failure
Hi Guys, When I have a list view and the view by default retrieves all records in the relevant table, when I elect to update all records by ticking 'select all' checkbox and then 'Bulk Edit' button, I get an IE error 4451 Permission denied. What's the problem? Thanks Andrew

Can't Edit / Update a row in a table
Hi everyone, I've found an issue in the app I'm building, in the table/form "Tarefas" I can't EDIT/UPDATE any row, thought I can ADD rows normally. PHP Date Format
I basically need to pull the date/time from a date/time field and make it into this format (PHP date): "ymd-Hi" which would output something like this: "070325-1504" Is this possible? I didn't know if the new API also introduced some new Deluge possibilities.

SSL Unfulfilled Fantasy
Zoho is great. However, as the many posts below indicate, SSL on Creator is a top priority for many of your potential users. Your users have been requesting SSL in Creator for more than one and a half years. Users have also asked for a specific DATE when this will be available. Embedding views using iframe - issue with URLs
I have a view which I have embedded in a website. In the view I have one column which has link to other pages in the site. When I click the link in the table it does not bring me to the correct page. Instead - it shows the linked page in the embedded view area. Is there a way to click a link in the table then bring me to the desired page relative to the parent page of the website. any help would be appreciated.
can't access another user's shared form!
I've been invited 3x, 2 different emails, and it is now finally listed under "shared to me" but when I click on it, I get this message: "You are not authorised to access this form in Zoho Creator. Go to Home" so frustrating! why can't I get to it?? justine.wayne
Creator Layout
Why is the form layout appear different in the LIVE mode. I like the way it looks in edit mode but in the live mode it looks stretch and much too wide. Is there a feature that controls this? salsababies

Membership Form Layout
I am not thrilled with the automated layout of my form. Some fields (particularly the description of the field) are EXTREMELY wide and require the user to scroll to the right to see the entire form. Is there anyway to wrap-around the field name (or limit the number of characters per line) so that it's not so long/wide. susanaramsey
Total feature doesn't work on large tables
Hi, everybody. I've made a form and a view that have several lines (~400). On my view, I've configured "display total" on two fields. On view, totals are displayed on each group, but not on last page, totalizing all values. I have another view that is supposed to do the same, and it works. Realtime calculations
Can creator show realtime calculations? Or is the only way any calculations are performed is on the submit button? Example, if I enter 5 into the rate field, 5 into the hour field I want the amount field to add the rate + hour and show 10 in the amount field without hitting submit.
Checkbox, radio, etc not showing in list view
Hello, I am a new user of Zoho, and am thoroughly impressed with the number of features available. I want a field in my application that can be checked by collaborators, showing they have processed the information (e.g. "Task completed"). The problem is that the checkbox, radio button, or any other similar field type I have tried does not show up in the list view. Am I missing something? Also, I find it humorous that the spell checker for this forum tries to respell Zoho, giving Soho as the only

sharing username/password
I am having a terrible time trying to get my database setup. I have created users. They receive invite emails and when they click on the link that is inside of the email, it brings them to a username/password screen. What is their username/password? I do NOT see anywhere inside of the share screens for this. carco
Creating Summary View
I have set up my first creator db to get some experience on it. My background is access so looking for something to easily create 'shareable' databases easily. My first app is one to track a group of runner's activities. It has two forms now, one to collect participant info (name, group, office) and one for them to log their activities (date, miles, activity type). Over the last few hours, I've become much more impressed with ZohoCreator; however, a question that keeps on surfacing in my mind is ... will SSL/https be an option in the next 2-3 months? In addition, could a person deploy a private survey with two layers of passwords, an initial iFrame that seeks the first password, and then is replaced with a second iFrame that asks for a 2nd password prior to a 3rd iFrame being shown that is the actual data entry page? enhancements in fields and presentation
Hi, This beta seems great. My need should be to have a new kind of field : a multiple entry line field. It should be a field with the possibility to enter 1, 2 or 3 data in the same field. it's not like a multiline field, it's a field with a kind of "grid" to enter 1, 2 or 3 items in it. Example : for a company entry, I need to enter 3 contact names, 3 phones, 3 direct email adresses. Each field (contacts, phones, emails) should allow 3 entries, for each. Local Database and/or Application
Hello, There is an issue on the usage of Zoho Creator that is perhaps the most imperative on the decision of using it as a commercial application: Do you have plans of setting the Zoho to use as a local application, or at least connected with a local database? I ask that because the safety and reliability of the database is the most important issue for any possible client of this tool, and by allowing the user to control its own database we could really open some doors. Brand new to you heys .. VERY neat application ! As a professional Developer, but with no Web dev experience, I got a nice App on my web site in about 1 hour from seeing your site !! i.e INCLUDING learning ! My issue is .. can I resize the Page created by ZohoCreator ? I have two columns and it dissaears of the side o my site (in officelive) .. bug in number field
i've noticed that one of my number field is not updated or even created in list view when filled in the form. My app is "rapports de visites", the wrong view is in "liste des potentiels". I made this app public for you to test it. (this is my test app, under my 'earchide' login. I have another private app (quite the same) under my 'vif' login with also a bug.
