help with if statement
Hello, Thanks so much for Creator! I'm a noob, trying to make an Address Book. My first line is a Marital Status question. If they keep "i'm married" as the default the rest of the form should stay the same. However, if they select "i'm single" from the list i would like several of the lines to be hidden (such as cell phone (spouse), email (spouse), and anniversary. I've looked through the documentation but have not found an example for this specific thing and can't seem to get the syntax right.
Form embedded - requiring login?!
I have embedded the from, looks great, works great - if I am logged in. That is helpful, only for me! Guests to my site are seeing the same thing. I am obviously missing something or have overlooked a a step in this process. I browsed the messages and couldn't find a solution to this. Any tips.... Thanks in advance.

When my fields included all SINGLE LINE entries I was able to view and edit all, yet when I changed a few of the fields to DATE I was no longer able to edit. Please advise. randall.deich
fixing some data
I want to upload an xls file and then get people to add data to it. I do not want them to change some fields - the names of the students, their ID numbers etc - but I do want them to add data to the students - comments, grades etc. Is it possible to do this already - if so, how? If not - would it be possible in the future? Thank you Jonno

Hi, Is there a way to play an audio clip on form submissions or field on change events ? I'm writing an inventory management application that uses a barcode reader for input to form fields, and thus doesn't require a keyboard or monitor, but it would be great to have audio feedback. Thanks, Zainul.

ServletException error messages - form and view now stuck wi
Sorry for the double-report, but I didn't click the box for my comments to be added to the Forums the first time around. I have a form and view, called Materials, that is now "stuck" - it shows ServletException error messages in the Form and View panes. I can't select Script to try to find the problem, no matter where I start from. Since I can't pull up the form or view, I can't delete the page and recreate it. mactaggart
Problem with Firefox
When created an application and trying to import data from a spreadsheet, the buttons "Done" and "Cancel" do not appear so I cannot complete the operation. The are there in IE 6.0 though. sjcaldwell

Hello, you really improved this from the last time I tried. Looks great. I just tried a simple comment form http://www.alphysics.com/freedomofscience/freedomofscience.html and I want to put the comments on the same page. But the view does not have "embed this on your website." It only has permalink. So how do I put form and results on the same page? thanks. 1pioneer1
Error loading form
HI, I have been a user of Zoho Creator for some months now. (zoho creator username: autoscm) Today I�m having problems with a form loading. Only a small circle appears and the form never loads. It has been loading all the time, and I have not modified the form at all. I believe it�s a problem at your side. Wron input sent from checkboxes
I have a form that imports data from another form in the same data base and presents it as a set of checkboxes. I have entries imported. When I create a new entry, the input works fine. When I edit the entry and change the selected checkboxes, then the input is a different set of selections (as reported by Debug->Info). Joining Data from 2 Forms in Views
I am building a database that tracks walking records by both individuals and by teams. I have 2 forms, one collects new members data including the team they will be on and the other form collects the info on how much the individual has walked and pulls the employee name from the first form via a lookup form. I am now wanting to build a view with info from both forms(such as teams total mileage, etc.) I have not been able to figure out how to get the data from both forms into one view. It does not
Field length
Hi Since the new system design was implemented all my form field lengths have been changed to a standard length. I have gone back to edit the field lengths but the system does not update them? Can you help please? Thanks, Nick info

Add Form Truncated in Embedded View
As the title states, if the add form height is greater than the size of the rendered embedded view, the full form cannot be viewed. It might be necessary to pad the embedded view so the whole form is visible. But, nice work. cybersphere
Bug with DATE field
On some computers the monthly calender that drops down when entering a date field is sometimes covered by the entry box of the field below. This makes it impossible to choose some of the dates, as they are hidden from view. The browser is IE, the operating system is Windows 2000 or XP, the field that overlies the calender is a single choice text field. kevinmurray

Hi, I was very curious with zoho creator and so I opened an account to try. My username was olivier.rames, I was unable to open the new apps I had just created; an error message said that it couldn't find my page. Then I tried to register with olivier_rames and this time it worked flawlessly. Don't you have an issue with usernames with a "." in ? o.rames
time data in a view?
I have a form that I enter the date and time using zoho.currenttime However when it is displayed in a view it only shows the date and not the time - anyway I can display the time? zoho

Hi! What would be the easiest way to export/import data between two applications? I have one application which has a basic data entry interface (name, address, phone number, comment) and need to import data in a more complex application. Page tied to Client but only viewable by them
I'm trying to set up a page in which a client provides feedback. The page contains linked info that is shared by other clients in order to fill out the required info needed. However, I want the client to be able to login, enter details, but not be able to see the other clients. Currently I have a linked form (dropdown box) to my contact page that links the records to the particular client. How can I set this up so when the client logs in: --They only don't need to choose their name --They don't see
Graph / Chart in Zoho
Is is possible to create a chart in the creator form. In a simple example, assume I have two text boxes where users enter their height & weight, it would calculate their BMI and compare it to an average score. Addittionally a graph of this info would also be show.
Script Help Needed
I want to write a script that if a certain field had data upon input, it would require certain other fields to have data as well. For example: If Organization Name has an input, the Organization Address would be required. If Organization Name is blank, the Organization Address is not required. Any help would be appreciated!!

Application duplication
not working. Tried link for TestProjectTracker application, for DUPLICATE action. See the status box "Duplicating..Please wait" I wait about 5 minutes, and nothing else happens. Refreshing list of applications does NOT display a duplicate application. mrfuzzhead

hi, i am attempting at creating a pet sitting client database application. i love what i can do, but the things I can't do make this really hard. I am trying to capture a good deal of data, about 22 fields. I can't view these fields in a feasible manner right now though. I think one way to fix this would be having the ability to expand data. The summary view is okay, but if I need to find a client out of 100, scrolling through them or searching is a harder than just scrolling through a small tight
Embeded Form not working in IE7
The following HTML code is embeded in two separate websites and neither will display the form properly in IE7. Any ideas why?

i was wondering how to send someone to another page after they are done filling out a form AND in this form http://creator.zoho.com/rgranholm/form/87/ how would i validate a clients e-mail address by having it see if its in our already current list of clients in the "All Client Information" formview.
