Bulk Edit JavaScript Error
When I select all checkboxes in my View, then click the "Bulk Edit" button, the screen grays out, but a JavaScript error occurs. Because of this, the Bulk Edit does not work. I am using Win Vista Premum and IE 7. Thanks! webmaster
How large of Files will you host?
I love this application. Just what I was after. Simple enough interface for novice users such as myself yet we can easily modify the script to do all kinds of stuff. We're looking at creating a database for a few hundred persons but it may swell to a thousand or so. How large of files can we store on your server? Rob

field placement
Is there a way to place fields where i want them or do they all have to be one right under the last? IE can they be next to eachother?
Printing?
I am having trouble figuring out a good way to print out the "summary view" version of my database. For a meeting, I want to print out a full list of each record... doesn't matter to me whether its one record per page, or more than one per page. I have tried to print straight from the web, I have tried pasting into a Word document, but nothing looks good. I need to make a hard copy to hand out for a meeting. Can someone please offer suggestions for how I can print a collection of record, neatly??
Primary Key?
Is there a way to have the ID # show on the form? If not, is there a way to create an auto generated field that will assign a unique incremented number to each record that the user can see and use as a reference number when calling me?

viewing entire field at once
it would be sooooo nice if i could see an entire large checklist at one time- presently i have a large checklist that i have to scroll up and down and up and down and up and down and on and on to find all the appropriate boxes to check, but they could just be listed in columns next to each other and that would save me tons of time and frustration. thanks
Cannot reference fields on linked form to create value
Hello, just a few issues. 1) the tab is not working from Username to Confirmation Code on this form. 2) received an error message when trying to register as a user (says exceeded attempts, but this was first try). 3) When I am in one form I want to reference a variable linked on another form, but it is not available. Exporting Data
When I try to download my Zoho Creator data into Excel, I get an error message saying, "Internet Explorer cannot download attach=true/ from creator.zoho.com. Internet Explorer was not able to open this Internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later." I am eager to use Zoho, but very hesitant to do so if I can't safely export my data to Excel. lesmerises-monica
Need to Display Data
I have bulit an application to store a database. What i require is to be able to build a tab where i can enter one field from the database, lets say, customer's homephone number & click search, and then the customers complete details are viewable on the screen in an editable format. Its like the edit option which you have on the 'creat view' But basically i need a similar function on a completely seperate tab & full details to show up across the full browser page. Would appreciate if you can assist

I have been able to design complex database using the simple GUI interface & the do the job exactly as i need. This has really helped me to solve the database problem for my company! Question about office zoho app & web ap
I have a quick question. I created a web app / database and am happy with it. I also loaded the zoho into microsoft office so I could make changes in the office application is there any way to make changes offline in office and have those changes show up in zoho creator (web app) instead of having to create a zoho sheet?

PRoblems with my application
I am having lots of problems with an application I created. The first one I created works great. The secod one never allows me to login to the view and exhibits slowness on the form. Each time I try to access the application, the page attempts to load for 5 minutes and says "service unavailable." What's wrong? jameane
generating emails to confirm orders
If I have a field in my form for a user to enter in an email address. How can i make my "on success" send an email to that address? Can it take more than one address? For example if the user wants a confirmation to go to several people can it do that?
Receiving mail problem in Forms
Hi.i prepare a form.it includes 2 file (pic ) upload also.for trying i write my 2 email addresses in "to" and "from" section in "on success" part.but im not receiving any mail.. is creating "view form" necessary for it ? what happens if i dont create the view form.. i use the form for an online application in a competition web site..users fill their details and upload 2 pics.if i recieve the form result and pictures by mail its enough for me. i hope someone help me about it..thanks a lot.. nocweb

I want a user to get an email to the email address they input in my form once the form is submitted correctly. How do I tell the on success script to send to whatever email address they entered instead of having to put the email address in the script myself? I need this to work for each submission so the address will be different every time. Thank you!

I am creating a order tracking database for four of my small retail stores. Is the actual data private to the general public but OPEN to anybody that has an valid account with ZOHO? I notice I can search the database while logged in and see other applications. How can I be assured my private data is secure while using your online service. support
Buttons Alignment in IE7 - Zoho Creator
Hi, I created one form using Zoho Creator and changed the name of the buttons. After copying the "iframe" code in my website, the alignment of buttons was correct in Firefox but it was not correct in IE. How to solve this? Some future requests
Hi here are some requests to improve the already excellent product ! - a report writer, even if this is was very basic to start with, to allow hard copy outputs to be created - nested TABS, this would help if your application has a large number of TABS - a 'one click' button to export all the data in the ap to a file XML, CELS or a proprietary format, and 'one click' button to import it back in. I am sure that this would give users more confidence that they could then back-up all their data locally.

Relational operations?
I have a couple of database ideas I'd like to do here but I can't figure out if they're possible with Zoho Creator. Here's the first place I'm stuck: I'm trying to make a Contact database which allows for any number of attribute types to be associated with each contact - so that each person can have multiple phone numbers, addresses, urls, etc.. or none at all. The way I'd do this in other databases is by having a button which adds a new record in the Phone table with the ID of the current record

Optimal browser to use with Zoho creator?
Hi, I am trying to develop an events database for my organization with creator. i have been using firefox but most of our staff have Mac OS X and are using Safari. Is there a setting I can change to make it more compatible with Safari? Right now when I try to change tabs while using Safari it tells me I'm not authorized to access my second tab. Also none of the buttons seem to work in Safari. Firefox has been working better but i just noticed it seems to have a bug in the "plus" button in the calendar
Restore CALL Facility Bookmarks please

I sent you a note last week, requesting that my database, CALL Facility Bookmarks, be restored to prior to May 5th 2007, as I seem to have accidentally changed my 'Keywords' field and other attributes. American Date Format
Yes, I know, in America we don't format dates like anyone else in the world. We put the month before the date. I would love to be able to format date fields with a standard American format though (mm/dd/yyyy or mm-dd--yyyy). It would really make things nicer for my users who aren't familiar with non-American style dates. Thanks!

Field missing when editing
Hi, is there any reason why the last field in my application doesn't show when I click on Edit? I can only get at this field if I tick the record and select bulk edit! Is there a setting somewhere that's somehow been changed? Thanks! Lee.
Users Shared Issue View/Edit Mode
I want my employees to share a Creator Database I create from multiple pc's from remote locations. I only want them to ADD, VIEW, & EDIT data entry. I do not want them to edit or change the database structure. Can this be set-up? support

Problems sharing application with others
I have been having major difficulties sharing my Creator database with others. I go in to share, enter their email addresses to invite them, and everything looks fine on my end. I can see their email addresses in the list of users I am sharing with just fine. Unfortunately, they are getting errors on their end. Even after accepting the invitation, they get a message that "You are not authorised to access this application in Zoho Creator. Go to Home." I have tried removing them from the shared list
list view shows no data
in my application there is a form thru which i input all the data, and another form on which the entire list (database) is displayed. Recently, the list form comes up empty, and shows no data. The data is there in my application for sure, as i can access it via other forms. Please help. If needed i can share my application. pratikj
