Email Template Max 32k Characters? Work Around?
I use a standard HTML template in my business to reply to email inquires and tryed copying it into a Zoho CRm email template.. It copied fine and the preview displayed the HTML fine but when I went to save it it said the email exceeded 32,000 characters.. It's not a long email.. I guess it's the HTML code that is long.. I don't even know how to tell how many characters I'm over. The HTML of the email is attached. Any ideas on a workout for this? I need them email template .. I figure I coudl

Forecast/Quota - filter by salesperson?
Hi - I currently use Zoho CRM and Zoho advanced analytics. I want to use to forecasting tab to input the quotas for each salesperson separately, and see what they have sold individually against their own quotas. Every time I create a new forecast it shows the total sold in that quarter by everyone. I want to filter based on each salesperson. Is there a way to do this?
Error during report create
When I generate the report, the custom field dont seems to update? i.e. I create a report name Lead Conversion across Sources which by default is available in the system. However, the lead source are not updated, it remain the old value that I created initially. What can I do about it?
Attachments to emails sent via ZohoCRM won't open
Hello, We've noticed when sending emails via ZohoCRM that in some rare cases the recipient cannot open the PDF attachments. The pdf has a ; at the end of the name preventing the computer from automatically recognising it as a pdf. We've tested this with various templates, different PDFs and sending the same PDF via Outlook and even SalesForce (from another business we work with). Is it possible to calculate the total value of the products assigned to a lead?
No - but, if you have a SMALL number of products with FIXED VALUES you can cheat and create custom fields in the leads that align to products - create 'check box' fields for each product (e.g. product 1, product 2, product 3) and then create a formula field - currency, 2 decimals and use this formula If(${Leads.product 1},150,0)+If(${Leads.product 2},10,0)+If(${Leads.product 3},311,0) this'll calculate a total for the boxes checked - then if you also have those fields in your potential, you can map
iPhone App Contacts
My Zoho CRM iPhone account shows three additional contacts from the contacts count in my online version. I have found the three contacts but I am unable to delete them from the account on my phone. I tried to find them in the online version but was unable to locate them. Is this a known issue with a solution?
Contact List View- Can't see full View name
For some reason you cannot see the full name of the "contact list view" as you could before, since it is truncated. Many of my view names are lengthy and I need to see the FULL title of the view so I can differentiate it from other similarly named views. Any problems? Dan Guttman

Word crashes when running Zoho CRM Mailmerge plug-in for MS Office
Am I and my customers the only ones in the world getting this problem???? A script error comes up when running Word mailmerge. Sometimes you can click through and it continues OK. Other times it crashes out of Word and you can't run the mailmerge at all. Seems it might be sensitive to the spec of the PC. Anyone else getting this ??? If so any suggestions? I have been using the CRM web version on an Android tablet as it's much more functional than the Android app. When I look at Columns in the Leads/Accounts edit mode, I don't see the list of columns - Selected or Available. Will this change?

LinkedIn search customization
Is it possible to modify the way CRM searches LinkedIn? Each time I click on the LinkedIn button to search for a person, it automatically puts the person's name and company in one line in the keywords space. I then have to go in and click first name, last name, company and search again. A person is never found when using just the keyword option, yet they are found when the others are checked. Is it possible to set a default to always search first name, last name, company instead of keywords?
Potentials column layout
The potentials column layout is currently [Potential Name - Stage - Closing Date - Account Name]. I want to change the column order to [Account Name - Potential Name - Stage - Closing Date] I tried dragging the column header but that is not an option. Picklist for product inquiry on a web to lead form
We would like to create a web to lead form that our prospects could fill out that would ask for their name, company, email, etc. as well as a drop down that says "I am interested in..." I have exported a large database from zoho crm to Excel and made changes, some of these to surname which means I get a duplicate when re-importing. I want therefore to re-import new surname in a separate temporary field and somehow do the following: If [newsurname] is not empty, replace [surname] with [newsurname]. Is this possible. I have embedded the code, but then altered some of the pick list options in the fields. Emails are not arriving from our website. If we untick a pick list field, will this stop this form working on the website? If we change pick list items will this stop this form working on the website? If we make any changes to the pick list fields, do we have to generate new code and replace existing code on the website?

Our customers are constantly paying in installments. What is the clearest and most efficient way to keep track of that information? If I add a lead to a task after the task is established, any notes that I have added to the task are lost. I assume this is a bug of some sort. True?
Filter leads by location
Adding a column by location and a filter for the Leads would be extremely helpful when doing targeting calls! i.e. today my manager was in the Syracuse area and wanted me to find a lead there while he was out. Filter would have been nice.
