Editing a new users' info
I am trying to add a new user and when I try to edit their profile and role it is automatically locked in as CEO and Administrator. If anyone knows how to unlock those two topics I would greatly appreciate it.
Problem viewing public email templates
We are new to Zoho. We have been importing leads and creating our campaigns. We have been working on our templates. My co-worker has gone in and done a couple of templates which he has saved into the public email templates. I cannot see them on my station, they appear in the list on his station. What are we doing wrong?
Wrong export lead encoding

Outlook plugin 15-days trial cannot login
Hi, I downloaded and successfully installed the Outlook plugin 15-day trial. I am using the free ZOHO CRM, and Outlook 2010 under W7 (64b). The plugin seems to be installed correctly. When I try to login using either my username & password, i get the error message: "You must specify a valid username and password" I tried to activate the Outlook for my user (admin), but the error is that I i exceeded my licenses. So, how can I test the Outlook plugin under the free ZOHO CRM edition? Thanks, --Rafi

Workflow help
Hello I am new to Zoho, I was hoping somebody could help me. I currently have a list of leads that I have imported but before I went ahead and called them I wanted to set up a workflow so that when. If I move the prospect from leads to either potentials or contacts a template pdf would go out automatically to that address dependent on where I put them. Is this possible? convert to account
For some reason, when I click convert to convert a lead to an account, it only says it is going to convert to a contact. I ran a test and it did only convert to a contact. Any idea why?
Internal cost estimating?
I'm not sure where to ask this question. We use ZohoCRM and are, for the most part, quite happy with it. We have a need to do internal cost estimates, I'm sure there's an official term for it, but basically I'm looking to create some kind of internal invoice showing what the costs related to each customer are. Is there a tool like this somewhere in Zoho's library, or does someone have another suggestion?
batch update of records
Due to the current API limits, we are unable to integrate our application with the Zoho CRM. For each Account, we maintain data in an external database and would like that data to be pushed into the CRM. I have setup custom fields for the accounts in Zoho and have written up the code that pulls data out of our database and updates it into Zoho. The issue is that we have more than 500 customers (growing every month). The sync needs to happen daily. But, the API has a limit of 250 requests per day.

Zoho, How can we see email information in a custom view? It is available in reporting, why not in custom view? This would be an extremely powerful tool, at least let us see the "date of last sent email" Is this under development at all? Multiple users working with the same contact
As a salesman I am on the road quite a bit and rely on my handheld to make calls and schedule appointments. For each contact record there is one owner, and only that owner gets to sync with outlook (and their handheld through the exchange). Is there a way that two users can get the same contact into outlook via sync?
Trying to migrate projects from our CRM to Zoho but all records are skipped
Trying to migrate projects table from our CRM to Zoho but all records are skipped. I am using a csv file that I have formatted the data in to match the Projects CRM data migration. All other CRM migrations are working. All required fields are matched; all id fields have data. Does this feature simply not work? Are there other fields that are required that are not labelled with the required* label?
Quote Template
We are testing the CRM module and think its pretty great! The only problem we are having is with the Quotes template. We need to be able to send the quote with a very detailed description for each product on the quote. This is typically 100 to 150 words per description. I can't see a way to add the field (which we fill with data in the product's page) to each line item. is there an easy way to do this? Can we modify the Quote template with the Professional version?
