Adding Products to a Sales Order
In the API documentation is described how to insert SalesOrders with their products. I would like to add a product by using it's Product Name and not the Product Id. I believe the docs describe this being possible, but I can't get it working. The documentation states: 1. A value for "Product Id" is mandatory. 2.You can specify the product name if you do not have a valid product ID. I have tried various implementations. I have tried leaving the Product Id empty and filling in the Product Name. I
Linking Zoho CRM 'cases' and more to Joomla CMS front end
Hi, I have seen a few posts about integration of Zoho CRM with Joomla CMS but there still seems to be no real solutions that I can find. What I want to do is have a registered users data captured by the Zoho Crm as an account that can have cases entered from a joomla from end. Only one or two people would be using Zoho CRM but I would have hundreds of accounts that tickets could be generated for. Multi-Currency: Modify the Currency of Existing Records

Sorting accounts by most recently updated notes
When I click the Accounts tab, I can look at My Contacts, All Contacts and make my own User Created Views. I would like to sort through all accounts by the most recently updated notes. I have an inside sales staff that adds notes to existing accounts and I would like the account owners to be able to see these updates in chronological order. Can this be done? If so, how?
Page Layout - URL covers Last Edit Date
Hi On the Accounts page layout if you have a long URL and the right side bar with links enabled, any reasonably long URL will obscure the Last Edit Date Field. Would recommend you put this one line down. See enclosed image. Thanks Gene
CRM Mail Add-On - select all?
Hey - Is there a way to default "show all" mail in Zoho? I can select "Sent Emails from CRM" or the emails from particular users - but not "all".

I was attempting to update a potential and when I saved it gave this error. To be sure it was not a problem with that particular potential I tried to change and save a different record, the same thing happened. Please let me know if this is a system wide problem that is being looked at or a problem with my data base. John
Can not update or add information
Currently, when I make a change to a lead, potential, account, etc. such as leaving notes or changing an account owner, it appears to accept the change but then it does not reflect that change in the record. Is Zoho down?
CRM not working!

Customizing what displays at the top of the page.
I'm sure it's an easy thing but I can't seem to find it. How do I change what displays underneth the contacts name. ie: Phone, Mobile, Email when I have since changed/moved/replaced these fields. So I want the new ones I have created to appear there. Cheers Jamie
Understanding the Map Fields
Can anyone explain the mapping of each Excel Column before importing my lead spreadsheet? After hours of search (terrible reference tables in this software site) I found the explanation for map fields. On the Page "Import Data to Zoho CRM" it details the excel column numbers, even though columns are letters, rows are numbers. However, it does not explain how I can change the map including the numbers. The example skips #2 & #3. Really confusing. One more day then I trash this and move onto another
How can I add an existing custom field for 'Potentials' to show in 'Leads' also?
After I added the pick list to 'Potentials' I realized I need it for 'Leads' as well. Can I add an existing field to 'Leads' without re-creating it?
Using Zoho web to contact from with weekly
I am considering using Weebly to build a website. I currently use Zoho web-to-contact form to import con acts from my web form to Zoho CRM. Can I do the same if I build my new website in Weebly. According to Weebly PHP and Mysql cannot be used. If the soho form cannot be used, does anyone know an easy to use platform to build a website which can use the soho web-to-contact form?

CRM and Contacts
How do users view their contacts on mobile devices? I have 800 contacts and can't view them on an iPhone or iPad unless I log into the desktop PC version on my iPad. I think it's absolutely crazy that contacts can't be synced with CRM!! This basically means I need to migrate the contacts to CRM but is there a way to sync CRM with google contacts so I can use Plaxo to sync google contacts with an outlook system for my employer?

Will there be an iPad app that is more powerful than the iPhone app? The iPad does a great job navigating the website, but an app would be ideal. There are a couple of editing features that are not as smooth as they could be and there is some Flash on the website version that is not compatible with the iPad.

Hi there, Before I start - I am speaking from an end-user perspective. I have a developer working on my site - so I'm not too clued up with the coding bits. We have a web-to-lead form for enquiries on a new Toyota Etios at http://www.toyota-etios.co.za . The developer probably has some sort of javascript form to handle the form - as it pops up in a box, when clicking enquire. The form code is based on the Zoho generated code. Hello, Leads assigned to users by SMOWNERID I don't see "Users" entry at page https://zohocrmapi.wiki.zoho.com/CRM-Entries.html So request "Users/getRecords" won't work. Is it possible to get list of all users via API?

Hi, Could you advise me a way of sorting my contacts by account type? Since i can not send out email to all contacts related to an account from the account-tab, i need to do it via the contacts tab. Lets say i want to send out an email to all contacts related to accounts of the type "customers".. As i see it, i can only sort the contacts by account-name and not by type, account-owner etc... Autocreate potentials
Hi, Is there a way to auto-create potentials? Example: We sell a car to a client and update our CRM>potentials accordingly. Automatically a new potential for same client is created in order to sell more to this client. (better stereo, four new winther tyres, an additinal insurance etc...) Sales manager sharing leads with subordinates
I'm having trouble getting sharing working the way I want it. I have a sales manager who is over two organizations. He's able to see all the leads of his subordinates. The problem is that he has leads assigned to him. These leads are either in Region 1 or Region 2. He wants the sales people in Region 1 to see his leads in Region 1 and wants the sales people in Region 2 to see his leads in Region 2. However, he doesn't want the sales people in Region 1 to see the leads in Region 2 - and vice versa.

Automate emails with workflow
Is there a way to automate emails to all contacts in an account when a condition in a particular field meets a criteria or changes? We know it is possible to send an email to the parent account using workflow when something happens in a contact, but is the reverse possible in the Enterprise edition?
