Changing date notation
Hello, Is it possible to change the date notation in the Zoho CRM software?? I need to import leads but here in the Netherlands we use a different date notation. so all the dates are wrong. This is essential for the use of your CRM software. A beta will be fine too. Greetz Sporedd
Problem - Web To Lead is having problems today
Noticed that web to lead is not functioning correctly today....People click the submit button, and then system hangs, and does not go to the 'return url' Getting mutliple leads becasue people keep clicking submit button. Please Check!
Macs and Document Issues
Hi, brand-spankin' new Zoho CRM user here... My partner is on a PC and I am on a Mac, and we're uploading our info and beginning our zoho experience. As we are testing the CRM functions, I'm concerned about a situation I encountered. I can see a Word attachment, but when I click on it to open, I get no response. Is this a Mac issue, a setting issue, etc.??? What's up? Has anyone encountered this and/or can anyone help us? Many thanks!
Invoices and payments
I would like to be able to create an invoice against a sale that includes only a partial payment. The invoices only let me invoice an entire product. For instance. I have a product sale of $500. I agree to have customer pay $200 now and make payments of $100 each month thereafter till paid. I want sales person to follow-up with new invoices as well. It would also be nice to have a payments section for invoices/sales. Thanks. William
Securing company client data
Hi! Is there a way to protect company client and leads data from its own employees? If we consider that all CRM users have permission to login into the system from their homes, they have plenty of time to use it in any way they please. Even if they do not have allowed export function. Any experiences in this community with that? Marko
Automatically Link Activity to Contact on Outlook Sync...
I asked this question a month ago but got no response: In ACT, if you add an event or task in Outlook and sync it using Companionlink, it will automatically link it to the correct Contact, Account (or multiple contacts, accounts & products because it has N:N relationships!) Anyway - is there a way to add this feature to the Zoho Outlook Plugin? That way you wouldn't have to go into Zoho after you sync the activity and then have to link it, it would all be seamless. Firefox 3 and Email signatures in ZOHO CRM
I recently upgraded to Firefox 3 - please note it caused my send mail signature in ZOHO CRM to scramble and not work correctly. After I downgraded back to Firefox 2 everything started working properly again. So if anyone experiences this problem Firefox 2 should repair it until Mozilla addresses the issue.
Dependent Field Mapping based on 2 criteria?
Is it possible to create a dependent field mapping (or 2 dependent field maps) that would allow for two variables to take place before the child field could be populated? Example: IF "X" AND "Y" then allow dropdown choices? If I have a task, and I have a dropdown box for type of task (call, email, letter), then I want to make the child field dependent on the parent field (call made, call left message, etc)...but I also want to make the child field dependent on the task being marked "Completed" So
Access Denied - Urgent Help Please
I am getting this error when logging in on several panels and a lot of the tabs have disappeared: Access denied. If you are the administrator, please update your profile settings. Otherwise contact your administrator to enable the access. I am an administrator and have checked all the profiles and permissions and all look ok. Nothing has changed I just logged in and now cant do anything. Sent an email to support but no response yet Any ideas?

We are wondering if anyone is using their webmail directly with crm, It seems logical that you could do it all online???? Example using Yahoo mail with our contact list.
Web to Lead enhancement status?
I have been unable to use Zoho CRM for a couple of clients because the Web to Lead function does not allow automatic capture of the Campaign Source. On one of my smaller clients we have come up with a manual workaround using a hidden custom field in the Web form. But even with a small number of leads it can be a real pain. Can you give us any idea when we might see that capability?

Importing Products
Can anyone help? I am trying to import an Excel spreadsheet which according to instructions I can import upto 1500 items at a time but but I have over 3000. I reduced the file to 1400 and then 1000 and then 900 because I keep getting the same error massage that you can't import more than 1500 items at a time. Error message when clicking on 'Preferences'
Dear Sir/Madam, I just upgraded my Zoho CRM Outlook plug-in, but I'm now getting a strange error message. When I click on 'Preferences' the error message is 'Object doesn't support this property or method' Then I do get into the preferences box (two tab sheets 'Synchronization' and 'Choose Category'. Use of Lead Name in Email Template
Trying to create an email in CRM to confirm receipt of lead information. Would like to use "Dear Mr. Jones" - however, "salutation" is does not appear to be a field available to the email template. So have to use "Dear Bob", which is a little too informal. Am I missing something? Thanks Steven

I imported thousands of contacts from another database into Zoho CRM and a couple hundred are vendors. Is there a way to convert Contacts to Vendors? Or do I have to convert them one by one?

Date Format Correct in 'Form View' but not in Email Submit
I changed the date format to dd.mm.yy and they show up fine in the 'Form View' In the SendMail, I have the current date being placed in the Subject Line of the email. That format shows up incorrectly as dd-MMM-YYYY. I am trying use the date in the email subject line as a faux order number.
