synching CRM with outlook has stopped working

I have 5 sales territories which I have created a view for: Example: View Name: Retail Northeast, my criteria is: State is wv,WV,pa,PA,ny,NY,vt,VT,me,ME,nh,NH,ma,MA,ri,RI,ct,CT,nj,NJ,de,DE,md,MD And Product Interest is "Product 1" or Product Interest is "Product 2" or Product Interest is "Product 3" For the states, I wasn't sure if it needed to be exact so I added both upper and lower case state abbreviations. Do I need to do this? Now, when I use the filter, I get all leads that do not have a state
Searches not returning correct results 90% of the time
I am searching for Accounts by the Account Name and 90% of my searches has pulled either no data whatsoever or a list of similar accounts but not the one I am searching for. Real Example: I do a search for "City of Desoto" (i know its there because I am looking at it in the account list) and I get no results so I modify my search to just "Desoto" and I get "DESOTO ATHLETIC CLUB", I then modify my search again and just search for "City of" and my results are "CITY OF ALBANY" and "CITY OF JACKSONVILLE
Lookup fields
Can anyone tell me how do create a lookup field? There are no instructions anywhere! An example would probably be best! Many thanks in advance agc
Reminder Errors
Since this morning it has become impossible to update a task that has a reminder selected. I have tried on various PCs and its not working. Please fix asap
Cannot Clear a Lookup Field
Your feature to create a lookup field is great. However, once an item has been selected in a lookup field, it cannot be cleared. For example, once a contact is associated to an account, the account name cannot be removed ... you can only choose a different account. This is the case with any lookup field. You should be able to simply clear the field if you wish. cdarlow
Workflows
I would like a Workflow Rule to be activated only when a defined Stage in Potentials is selected. This Stage will never be selected when a Potential is created so I can not choose that option. I do not want the Workflow to be restarted every time the Potential is edited and the defined Stage is still selected. 1) User edits Potential and changes Stage to the defined Stage. 2) User saves record after editing. 3) Workflow Rule is activated. 4) User edits the Potential without changing the defined Stage

Are the 100 user fields that are available in each of the Tabs or is that the limit for the whole of the ZohoCRM database? carterra69

I would like to use Zoho CRM but I cannot get sufficient information to make a proper decision. ZOHO sent me a mail from some person called gopal who promised to answer my questions......guess what he doesnt! I am sooo tired of asking for basic stuff that I am off to evaluate Google apps for hope of a more professional attitude
Workflow rules for Potentials do not work.
No matter what I select as the criteria, workflow rules for potentials do not work. Is this a known issue? This is both in the on demand and for on premise versions.

Remove Attachment
It will be really helpful, if we could remove attachments while uploading emails from Outlook. Currently this is not possible. Mahesh Pillai
CRM search is not 'deep'
Searching for words does not return same words found in notes/description. This needs to be fixed as 'key words' are the 'hooks' that we poor (memory) humans use to remember/find what we are looking for... please implement deep search in the CRM. thank you Dennis dgdlux

synching CRM with Outlook does not pick up categories
On synching with CRM and Outlook we find that our categories are not being picked up or saved to the DB. Please advise on how to make this happen in the future. thank you Dennis dgdlux

Earning report
Hi! Small question from a very impressed and happy user.... Is there anyone who knows how to make a "earning report", that is how much I've earned on my sales. I've tried to find a solution to make a report comparing the "unit price" with "list price" and then giving me the total.. But I can't find any way to do this. Is it possible at all? Export bug:Prob using commas in text field
Hello, I have a field in my leads that I created that is of type TEXT, length 100. It holds numbers seperated by commas. For example: 100,245,123,445,988,102,809 In the CRM itself there is no problem, however when I "Export All Leads" to excel, the field will only export the first 5 numbers between commas. If the field holds the values above, it will export: 100,245,123,445,988,000,000 It truncates everything after the 5th number and replaces with zeros. The solution is to seperate the values with
Custom Field Settings: Lookup
I am trying to add a custom field to my notes to include contact details with the lookup feature, to be able to cross reference when doing a search in our notes. I am having problems with the related list label area. I dont know what to enter herer and zoho will not let me leave it blank. Hello, when I put my signtaure in I had to keep re highlighting the same text to make more than one change to it. In other words, if ou want to change the colour and the size you have to highlight it twice. Is there a way round that as it is annoying and time consuming. Thanks Lisa Milligan

I am a new to Zoho CRM but find it more attractive than Salesforce.com, which my research shows to have poor integration with Outlook and Zoho seems to have very nice customisation features. After seeing how well Plaxo does with Outlook integration, I was hoping Zoho would have come up with a robust integration add-on as well. So I am trying to make it that I can work in either CRM or Outlook through synchronization, and I can synch my PDA with Outlook using ActiveSync. Here's my results so far,

Creating Sales Order Views: Data in "Product Details"
Is there anyway for me to create a view in the Sales Order section and specify criteria that is located in the "Product Details" area. Am I able to specify a product code for a filter or a product name?? Hi Can you please direct this to the support department: I am evaluating your application and it seems quite nice so far. I have a question about account numbers. The field that is there by default does not auto increment. I played with creating a custom field instead but I dont know what the ramifications of this would be. Then I created a sales order and the default customer number was not an available choice . Whats the deal with this? Is it considered non important to have a unique customer number?

"Vendor Name" will not populate when importing contacts
When importing contacts, I associated "Vendor Name" to the appropriate column in the file, but it will not populate the field -- even though the vendor names do exist. I would hate to have to manually associate each contact to it's corresponding vendor. cdarlow
