How can I Set PROXY Settings on ZOHO assist.
Hi, I would like to know how to set proxy settings on Zoho Assist. I need to know how to manually open the Proxy Settings. There is no tab in zoho assist that you can manually change proxy settings.
Support within RDP session takes over mouse of host computer?
When I want an external supplier to support their system, I RDP to the server and initiate a Zoho Assist session. Strange thing, the remote support session appears to "bleed though" to my host PC. - the remote supplier moves the mouse within the RDP session on the server and it moves the mouse on my local PC. - if I minimize the RDP session, the remote session goes black (supplier cannot do anything) Is this a bug?

Hello, I am getting the below message in LogFile.log before agent.exe (zoho assist) stops/crashes.... Stop remote session command: ATT STOP NOW AGENT_ALONE_IN_SESSION then agent.exe stops Is there a setting I can change so the agent.exe does not stop? I can not use unattended access, because the environment that I am accessing do not allow A) your unattended access installer to run and B) the ports that unattended access use on host machine do not work on the hosts I access. Evaluating - UAC stopped input
I am evaluating Zoho Assist and did a test with a laptop running Windows 7 Home Premium. I right clicked computer and attempted to open the Manage option from the Technicians window. The PC I was testing from is at the Default setting for Windows 7 - Notify me only when programs try to make changes to my computer. From the support technicians end I could see the Computer Management window but at that point lost all ability to interact with the session - it would accept no further input. On closing

Drawing Pen
Hi Guys: A Tool that would be incredibly helpful is an on screen drawing pen/highlighter. I hate to use the GoToAssist Name, but we are trying to transfer from them to Zoho Assist. A tool that is incredibly helpful in GTA for our technicians is an on screen drawing pen so we can draw on screen the exact icon the customer should choose. Thanks.
Keyboard Control
Hello Again! If Richard is sharing a customer's computer, and he needs to show the customer something on his computer, he can reverse the screen, which is great! However, Richard would prefer that the customer NOT be able to control his mouse and keyboard and only view his screen? I didn't see any setting for this? Apologies if I am asking "training" questions, but after cursory investigation, I didn't see any of those functions. Thanks!
Save a Chat
Is it possible that the chat between my technician and the customer can be "saved" as part of the session log? I really like the notes, but would love to be able to access what was said in the chat window.
Interaction with Mac running Windows programs
We have several customers that use Mac's, but are running our Windows application using something like Bootcamp, Parallels and sometimes Windows Remote Desktop into a terminal server. When I remotely connect into their Mac OS, when they bring up the Windows program, if I try to type... the only character that appears is "a". So, for instance, if I open Word for Windows and type in "hello", instead I get "aaaaa", which obviously doesn't work very well! The only solution is for the customer to allow
Remote with Edge browser: "Look for an app in the store"
My remote assist session failed today because: The end user, using Edge, was prompted with "You'll need a new app to open this zohoassistlaunch." The only choice is "Look for an app in the store." Screen shot attached. I think I found a workaround; this post is to share my frustration when trying to guide a user into a remote session. No File Transfer or System Info
Hi, Just upgraded and the File Transfer button is greyed out and can't find out where to get the clients system info. I'm using Unbuntu 11.10 - Tried with Chrome and FF - latest versions. Any ideas? Thanks Jon

I would like to embed a button in my application to start a Zoho session, which I can do manually by visiting the URL: https://assistlab.zoho.com/assist-start?key=[xxxxxxxx] (my key removed). Is this key consistent or does it change with each login?
Zoho Assist freezes when a user joins the session.
Hi, I was trying out Zoho Assist (As I was hoping to purchase a subscription and wanted to make sure it fit our needs first) and it seems like the desktop plugin completely freezes (Just showing a gray screen where I can't click anything on the window) when the user joins on their end. I am on Windows 10 version 1607 and build 15048. The only way to close the plugin at this point is to close it using the task manager. Thank you, -David
Where can I get the Zoho assist technician app? All I can find is the customer app!
When I login to my zoho account, I can download the zohoassist.msi file, and I can install it. But when I run it, it starts the Zoho Assist app and instead of giving me the session key to give to my customer so I can get a remote control of their desktop, it tells ME that: "You are about to join a Remote Support Session. Zoho Desktop software wrong
I tried to use the Zoho Assist Desktop software to help troubleshoot a friend's computer. The "Join.exe" file always started Zoho Meeting instead of Zoho Assist. This happened with multiple tries on both of our computers.

Customer gets UAC prompt when running join.exe after downloading from the join session web page
I have been evaluating zoho assist. I am very happy with the product, but there is a small issue which I hope can be resolved. So I invite someone to join a session for assistance. This customer visits the join session web page, enters the session ID and is directed to download the join.exe program. Customer is running Windows 10, logged in as an Admin User. Start Session isn't working in Windows desktop client
Since the latest client update on my Win 10 PC (zohotray.exe 1.0.2.7 23/5/16) I can't Start Session. Nothing happens in the window when I click. It works ok when you right-click the system tray icon, bottom right, and choose Start Session there. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Any other thoughts? Thanks, Mike.

As we tend to use Assist for remote assistance of our company computers. Is there a way to have a list of users (dropdown etc) that we can do a simple invite to session? currently we have to type of the email addresses each and every time.

Losing Click on a Mac
Hello: I tried Zoho last night, as I'm evaluating remote customer support tools. I helped a client with a Quicken Mac 2015 issue. I noticed several key issues during our 45-minute session. Run as service password
When trying to run as a service, the box for credentials pops up, but it will not take local admin credentials. I put in the local admin username and password and it does not elevate the session. It just says incorrect username/password. I have had this problem on both Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 machines. I know the credentials are correct because when I go on site and log in, the credentials work properly.
Not able to type characters in VirtualBox VM while using Assist
I am connected to a machine using Zoho Assist, and I have a Windows 7 VM up in VirtualBox. Yesterday I was able to type a character into (for example) Notepad, but once I entered that first character, every other character I typed outputted that same first character. Now today I am unable to type in any characters. Everything I type does not output to the screen. I have tried rebooting the VM and also the host machine that I am connecting to.
Problems with windows 7 to windows 10 remote assistance
I have windows 10 and he has windows 7. Although we are using the same screen resolution, when I control his screen everything is fine but when its the other way around, he sees my screen only on half of his screen, and his cursor is not clicking on the right things for example there is the new tab button, he is trying to click it on his side but in fact it is much farther right on my screen than what he sees it.... very weird problem. changing the settings "best fit or actual size" doesn't make
Get Support plug in - suggestions for improvement
Big picture what I would like to see is: a desktop icon on the remote customer's machine that initiates a remote support session back to me - no session id numbers! This would be a cross of 1) Unattended Access and 2) the existing Get Support desktop plug in. Problems running in service mode
As of lately myself and my colleagues have been unable to switch to Service Mode on some PCs. This only occurs on PCs where the user themselves do not have admin rights. When we click on Run as Service, and enter the proper credentials, we get a popup box that shows "Problem running Zoho in service mode" or something to that effect, I didn't write down the exact message. Willing to test internally or anything else required to get this functioning again, as it has worked in the past.
Change Cursor When Hovering Over Different Items
When assisting a computer, it would be nice if the cursor changed depending on what was on the remote computer. i.e. Text selection icon over text, little hand over a link/button, etc.
Suggestion to make "Choose Monitor" function easier to use
The multi-monitor support in Zoho Assist has been great. But switching between monitors is cumbersome. You have to access the Session menu, select "Choose Monitor", wait for a pop-up window, select the monitor on the pop-up and then close the pop-up in order to control the remote computer again. When working on a remote system that requires switching back and forth between monitors several times, this process gets in the way of controlling the remote computer. Hi all, We are just getting to grips with Zoho Assist and it is going well for the most part until today when a remote user was getting "automatic installation failed" when running join.exe. Resuming Previous Sessions
I believe I have seen a list of previous sessions, with the opportunity to resume them or am I thinking of a different piece of software? If so, where is it? If not, this needs to be an option since the Zoho desktop application is not 100% reliable.
Zoho Assist "Automatic Update has Failed" message when accessing
When I click on the zohomeeting.exe program and enter my username and password I get the error message "Automatic Update has Failed". I cannot start a remote session. What do I need on my Desktop to start a remote session without having to go into a browser to start a session
Comment Box @ end of Zoho Assist
When I end a remote support session, I get a box that asks for comments about the interaction via Zoho Assist. Is this box where I leave support notes regarding the Zoho Assist connection for future reference, IE removed Virus, Defraged Etc. Or is this a support note for Zoho asking how the interaction was? Remove Zoho Assist from "Run as Service"
How does one remove Zoho Assist after it's been "Run As Service"? I believe that because it is running as a service, it always uses the same Session ID regardless of the ID entered into the assistance website. This makes it a bit confusing to get a session going.
Mouse Pointers - Can't see two at once
I'm testing this product for possible deployment. Is there a setting so that while you share the Technician desktop that you can see the Customer move the mouse or see customer's mouse pointer in addition to your own? I was only able to see my mouse pointer. I had to watch and wait for rollovers to illuminate when an element was ultimately selected by my test customer.
