Lead Assignment rule not working with custom field.
Setup a hidden value on the web-to-lead form, called "assignmentval". Created custom field in the lead module named "assignmentval". Put small section of PHP code in the web to lead form to generate a random number of 1-20 for assignmentval. The values pass correctly, 1 through 20, totally random from lead to lead. Great. Created assignment rule (named random), first rule is if assignment val is <= 10, assign to user A. 2nd rule was if assignmentval>=11, assign to user B. All leads are being assigned
Auto Tasks
Is it possible to automatically assign a task for FOLLOW-UP based on the date a lead comes in. For instance, I would like every lead that is entered to automatically generate a task for Follow-up by a set amount of days, like 2 weeks later. Thanks for your help.
Data Import question
I have some contact data to import, and one of the fields in my excel file is "Salutation" which contains things like "Mr." "Mrs." and "Dr." While this field exists in Zoho CRM, and a picklist is visible under Leads and Contacts when I create or edit same, I do not see it in the field mapping under importing. Is this by design or is it an oversight? I also don't see the ability to edit the picklist under Setup: Fields Lists. Any help would be appreciated! Cass ctyson

email notification when new web leads come in?
I'm wondering if there's some way to enable an email notification when there is a new web lead. right now, i have to remember to go to zohocrm.com periodically to see if any new leads have come in. i even enabled the "approve web leads" option under Setup->Lead settings->Approve web leads, thinking that this would send an email to me when a new lead needed to be approved. thanks, nate Nate Aune

Mail Merge Word Documents
Is there a way to mail merge to a word document from the LEADS area. I have certain letters for clients and would want to pull their information into it. I know I could probably do an export and try from there, but wanted to see if there was another way.

Issue importing Contacts
I export a CSV file from Outlook and when I try and import it tells me the file must be a CSV or XLS (which it is a CSV). When I convert to Excel it works fine through the mapping stage but when it starts the final import it hangs and never finishes. Any idea's? marklharrell

Hello, We've recently imported 766 leads and needed them all under one campaign. During the import I assigned all of these to the same campaign however under the campaign tab only 50 of these show up with no option to page through them. Is there a way to do this? Many thanks. Dave Tuepah

I am in the process of adding users and I have run into a Data Level Permission problem. I have cloned the Standard User Role and modified the new role's Data Level Permission to "Admin only...". This seems to work (in that it restricts the user's view/edit capabilities to items that they are the "Owner" on) in all modules except for the Contacts module. Automated reports
Hi, 2 things, I have set up the report scheduler to send daily but nothing is being sent or arriving. Is there any reason this may not be working? 2ndly when you do a PDF of the report it takes the text right up to the margings making it unprinatble. MS Office Integration
Hello, Are there are any plans for Microsoft Office Integration? Possible features with programs such as Word could be form letters and mail merges direct through Zoho CRM. Also, I would like to be able to send a tempalte email individually from the lead screen. Currently one can only send an individual email, not from a template; or, use a search for individual leads/contacts using the "mass email" function. These features would greatly influence switches from Salesforce among other on-demand CRM
CRM World Clock
The World clock has an entry for Perth, Australia which is great. However, Perth (well the whole of WA) has implemented Daylight Savings as of the 3rd December - thus the clock is wrong, as is now an hour behind - can this be recitified? Cheers spleendog
