Gmail Gadget Fails To Recognize Contact
New to Zoho CRM. I have set up the Zoho account, matched it up with my Google Apps account. I have received downloads of Gmail contacts. When I open a gmail email the Zoho gadget does not recognize that the contact is already in Zoho CRM contacts. I get the message "Sorry, Contact or Lead does not exist." When I go into Zoho, infact, the contact does exist. Is there a setting in Gmail I need to change? Thanks.
Convert Lead Information
Dear Zoho support/Zoho community, I have created a custom pick list field called "Potential Contact Person" under the Potential Module. I have also made this field mandatory. Now the challenge is that while I have made this field as mandatory within add new potential, since it does not exist within the "Convert Lead Information" in the Leads module, there are some converted leads that do not get the custom filed I created. Hi, - I am trying to create a workflow that updates a field when a record is edited. - The only criteria is that the "Potential Owner" is one particular user. The workflow words, except for when I create the rule: "Potential Owner" is "user x". Can anyone suggest what I may be doing wrong?
Task reminders: one click close from email
When you get an email reminder it would be nice to be able to mark the task as completed (and shut off any existing reminders) directly from the email. As it is now you can follow a link to the task, sign in to Zoho if you are not signed in already, find the section to change the task status to complete, and then also remember to uncheck the reminder box. The difference between a couple of seconds and a minute or more to complete a simple thing.

Hello, Although In tried all possibly suitable fields, the total value after deducting discount off of the subtotal of all product items does not show on quote. Some info disappears...
When I convert a Lead to an Account, I can't find see some info such as Notes that I had entered in Leads, in each Account. Even if I click back to Leads, its not there either...it just says it has been converted to an Account.

I am setting up a holiday rental system. Potentials are Bookings and Products are Properties. We have added the rental "from" and "to" dates on the Potential and populated those to the Quote. On the Invoice there is no option to include custom fields from the Potential (or quote) - this seems like a bug or simple omission - the Potential, Quote and Invoice are all linked and should have access to the same data. Sharing leads with another person
Hi there, I'm a startup and have a list of sales leads I want to share with my partner. I'm using Zoho's CRM tool. I've created a Zoho account and imported our leads list into the CRM. I've also invited my partner as a friend, but clearly that is not the way to share the list. She just creates her own blank Zoho account. How do I share my leads list with her? Setting up automated tasks / call list
Hi - just switching to Zoho from an archaic system. One thing I was able to do, however, in this old system, was quickly set a followup date, and the system would display a list of contacts on that date. For example, I leave a voicemail on 3/5, note it, and set the calendar to 3/12. Then on 3/12, this lead, and all other leads appear. Should I be setting up a workflow? What field would trigger this? Can Pulse update when new emails are attached ?
Were finding it difficult to get a accurate picture of which contacts are hot, it would be an excellent feature if the pulse would update when an email was attached to a contact just like it updates when a note is attached, so our users can see who is in contact with who, and what the current conversation is about is this already available ? if not is it planned ?

Hello, Can anyone tell me if there is a way to add a file to an Account in CRM via email i.e. an individual email address for each Account that will accept an email with an attachment and then add that attachment to the Account. The scenario is something like this. We use another system to produce invoices (not a finance system, it is an operations system). Sync Contact with Google - what will happen next?
Hi, I had 2-way sync configured and all was working well, too well all my personal contacts ended-up in Zoho (my own fault). We have now decided to only do a one way sync - Zoho -> Google so all contact updates will be done in Zoho and then pushed to Google. Now we are configured this way, what will happen when I delete my personal contacts from Zoho, will the delete be pushed through to Google? How can I delete my personal contacts from Zoho without them being deleted from Google also? Thanks

Hi, I would like to be able to sort my Contact list by the most recently updated, i.e which contacts have had email conversations / notes recently etc . Unfortunately it seems that your modified by/ time fields only update if the contacts personal information is changed. is it possible to get this to change on upload of an email/task/note aswell ? Major problems since new Template
Hi all, Are there more people who are experiencing major problems with the new template and Zoho CRM? We are having problems with empty offers and invoices, prices differ from products and offers, clicking on a relation shows a wrong one. In fact, Zoho is not working for us, but against us right now. Hello when trying to connect MS Word 2010 to Zoho CRM via the published Office add-in ($3/mo/user) - we are getting the following error (image below). I am testing Zoho CRM for a magazine article concerning mail merges, so it needs to work seamlessly. If we click "yes" to running scripts, the connection is made - but the application does not respond correctly (unable to add merge fields... unable to save... etc.) . It would be awesome if I could apply more than three field updates per workflow automation rule in Zoho CRM. I'm a real estate broker specializing in short sales, and have changed my contacts module to be my files module. Sending emails from a list of contacts in a campaigns
Hi want to do a mass emailer to a stack of my customers, i've set up the template for this but what i want to do is first select the contacts from my contact list and add them to a campaign i've created once they're there i then want to be able to at once send them all the same email. So basically i want to track the contacts i've selected for this mailer using campaigns? I can't see how you do it, i can see how you assign contacts to a campaign but you can't email them from the campaign. any ideas??
