Customizing Accounts
Hi, I'm just starting to use ZOHO CRM beginning with the creation of our exiting Accounts. I have a few Accounts that are integrators and/or distributors who we bill and receive payment but the underlying business is for their customer. I'm wondering what is best practice so that I'll be able to do invoicing and also reports and forecasting. For instance, all the business and billing goes through "Fred the distributor" but there are multiple customers such as Fred'sA, Fred'sB...and so forth. The
Managing Contract Opportunities in Zoho CRM
Good Day I would like to enquire as to the best way to manage contract opportunities in Zoho CRM. (If a customer signs up for a 12 month contract at a fixed fee.) Is this opportunity captured as one (i.e. Monthly fee x 12) or is there a way to apportion the amount in alignment to a revenue target in the Forecast module. Your advice will be greatly appreciated. Data in Zoho CRM
All our Data from Highrise is migrated to the Contact Manager. Is it possible to add the data to Zoho CRM now? I want to use Zoho CRM with all my old Highrise data including our tasks. It's very important for us not to lose any data. Hope to hear from you soon. Kind regards, Johannes Baas

Custom CRM fields
Hi everyone I'd like to do 2 things with custom CRM fields and haven't been able to: 1. I have a check box in my Accounts tab that I'd like the related contacts (custom field) to reflect. I also want to be able to modify all related contacts' check box from the Accounts tab. Is that possible? 2. When creating a related contact, I'd like the address of the organisation to auto populate for that contact. Is that possible? Thanks in advance!

Hi, I am interested in to pay ZOho crm licence. I start to import leads; but I will start my activity in 1 month. In 14 days my trial will expire. When I will pay in 1 month, will I still get all my records saved in my zoho account? Or everything will be removed and I will have to import all again? Regards Gauthier
Needs to update the sales order record by deleting the existing product details and add new product
Hi there, I am using ZOHO CRM API for creating and updating records. Now, I have created a sale order record with one product on product details section. Now, I needs to update the sales order record by deleting the existing product from product details section and add a new product on this record. Is this possible? If I try to update the sales order record with new product details by using <product no="1"> tag , it will add the new product as second product rather than overriding the first product.
Custom Field Update on Automated Rule>Action
I generated a custom field on the Potential field I want to setup a specific value when a new Potential is created. I went to the Automation section to setup a rule. However in step 4 I dont see the option for a field update. I just see an option for "Send Alerts" or "Assign Tasks". Why can't I see an "Update Fields" as per the screenshot here: https://help.zoho.com/portal/en/community/topic/field-update-custom-field-on-automated-rule-action
problem with closed user
Hello, We have a problem with adding a "new" user. The user was closed accidentally because the user´s email address needs to be changed. Somehow the user cannot accept the invitation of ZOHO CRM because "it´s already part of the CRM account" How can we solve this asap?

How do I transfer the information contain in a Large TextArea into a Small TextArea?
Hi, I have been trying to filter my contacts based on the content of TextAreas for a while now and I have just realised that you can do that if the information is in a Small TextArea (Not in a Large TextArea). As the Small TextArea is a fairly recent feature, I will need to transfer the information from my Large TextAreas into a Small ones. What process should I follow do that without lost of information. When we try to open an activity, we get a message saying "The record(s) you are trying to access is not available." This is true for all activities, even new ones created 5 seconds ago. We upgraded from free to Pro on Friday. How do we fix this?
Support Pin Verification System For Sale With ZohoCRM
Hi Everyone. I have a support pin verification system for sale to someone that would need it. This is how it works. ZohoCRM will generate a pin number when a new customer is added. So when a customer dials in for tech support for instance it will require the customer to enter a pin number. The customer will then enter that number and our system will verify it against zohocrm records. If its approved then the system will transfer them into a queue; however if its not approved then it will route them
Anybody using digital signatures with ZCRM?
Just wondering if anyone is using digital signatures to sign invoices, quotes etc... How is it working out? Any issues, pitfalls to look out for? Do you integrate with a third party accounting software? I've looked at some apps like echo sign from Adobe... Still a lot of extra clicks to sign. Import from CRM - Account Owner, Last Modifed ID and Created By ID issue
I am trying to import accounts from our previous CRM using the Setup --> Data Administration --> Migrate tool. I need to retain the Account Owner information, as well as Created By and Last Modified By users. It appears that I am unable to set the Account Owner on any records through this method - it assigns my user as the owner on all Accounts, regardless of what is in the Account Owner field. "View" Name not showing
When switching from one View to another the name of the current view is often not displayed. This is not a huge problem as I can just drop the menu down and select the view I think I'm on in order to verify. However, this is still annoying and I only noticed it happening recently.

Hi is it possible to have a number of fields whos values would show up below in a chart for historical reasons. for example,I am selling a number of variable priced products. changed name and now all data invisible
Dear Support, I changed the name of the Superadmin including the contact email and now it seems all leads, contacts etc. are invisible (hope they are not gone...). What can I do to let's say transfer the rights of the "old" (deleted) user to the "new" (existing) Superadmin? I still have these "verification codes" and hope they can be of help. I have learned that I can search contacts to drop into the Main Contact field. However, when I do click on the search icon, all contacts in the data base show. Is there a way only that account's contacts will show? (Just as it does in the quote)
Webform and assignment issues
I have created a webform and the rules to allow the different users to be assigned leads on a round robin basis. Firstly, I am having problems with the actual webform. When I complete the webform on my site and fill all sections a short while later the lead is added successfully. However, when I view the new lead I cannot see the phone numbers or title that i entered on the webform, i can only see the names and email plus other automated data like the URL...etc. How can this be fixed? Duplicating Address in Contact details
Hi ZOHO CRM, I'd like to do two things here: 1. Contacts linked to an Account should have their addresses automatically filled in. However, I can't quite get this to work. I'm currently using customised address fields. What would you suggest? 2. I'd like to activate/deactivate an option in an Account that adds/removes all the linked Contacts for that account from a list. Would I be able to do that with Lookup or other custom fields, please?
Super Admin Password needs changing

Can i make the Sections in Potentials dependent on a field?
I would like to have only certain sections visible depending of the a field selection. Is that possible? For example, depending of what i choose in "Customer Type", i want to only see the sections of the layout i would map to that Customer type. Is that possible?
Adding a field in Contacts for the person's LinkedIn page address
I read the thread on the terminated integration arrangements between ZohoCRM and LinkedIn. However, until this matter is resolved, I suggest that you provide a field for a LinkedIn page on the Contacts module. In this way I can copy and paste the url from LinkedIn to Zoho. Not perfect but better than nothing. Like When I click on it, the link should directly open on the contact's LinkedIn page, if I'm already signed in. Thanks
How to create monthly pop up/ email alert?
Hello, Is it possible to create monthly pop up/ email alert per client type? For example I have 3 clients' category : GOLD / SILVER / BRONZE GOLD clients need to be called once a month SILVER clients need to be called once every 3 month BRONZE clients need to be called once every 6 month I would like to have a alert when the Sales have reach the time to call them (i.e. last call for a GOLD client was more than 1 once ago). Have email show up on CRM account main page
We are interested in having ZOHO show the emails between our staff and the client on the main account page in the CRM. It is not useful to have to click on contact, then click on email, to see the emails. A brief line that we could click on to see the remainder of the email via a pop up is what we are looking for. Read only option based on stage selection in CRM
