How to automatically assign a "lead source" to a lead received from my GMail account !
Hey ! We have integrated ZOHO CRM with Google Apps and have also installed ZOHO Gadget in GMail. We tend to forward leads from our GMail account to our CRM using this Gadget. My question is: How can we assign a unique "lead source" to such leads ? Thanks.Experience using Zoho CRM in a MS Exchange environment?
We're a small firm thinking of using Zoho CRM. We use a hosted MS Exchange for our email. There are some old forum comments about how Zoho CRM does not integrate with MS Exchange, but I recently identified Zapier as a possible solution: https://zapier.com/zapbook/zoho-crm/. Helle, I'm a Google Apps and Zoho CRM user. I have mail add onn in Zoho CRM and a big problem. There are limit of 5 GB (from free zoho mail app). We are exploring ZOHO at the moment and are testing the CRM plug-in for outlook. When we setup a new event in CRM using the Activities>New Event option we complete the following fields: Subject Venue Start & End Times Dropdown 1 = Account and select an Account Name Dropdown 2 = Opportunity and select a live opportunity DescriptionThis is then saved and the ZOHO CRM plugin for Outlook is used to sync the Event with the local calendar. This succeeds, however only fields 1,2,3 & 6 are synced not 4 &Exchange plug in for CRM

I am a new user trying to configure my Zoho CRM account with my Zoho Mail account. I set these two accounts up independently, which may have been my mistake, but Zoho required a unique user name for each account. So now my Zoho CRM account has one user name, and my Zoho Mail account has a different user name. When I go to configure the Mail Add-On inside CRM, it displays a default mail address of <CRMusername>@zoho.com. This is not my actual Zoho mail address. I'm using the new beta Outlook Zoho plugin with Outlook 2003. My login information is not being saved from session to session even though I have the remember me box checked. I'm really not sure why a separate sign in is necessary at all, if I have Outlook open I want to be signed into the Zoho plugin.Gmail - Adding Email to Lead or Contact
Apologies for this question, one I trust has been answered, but I cannot find the answer. I am using Gmail in Firefox and want to send/link/attach an email to a Contact or Lead in Zoho. Unfortunately, I am unable figure out how to select the name of the Contact or Lead from the Zoho Add-iin which is now at bottom of the Gmail - I am only provided the option to search for the sender of the email. We can successfully Sync calendar items from/to Outlook and Zoho CRM but they lack any details. For example, we have an event created in Zoho CRM with a Subject of "First Call". When we sync this to Outlook we would expect the other Activity details (contact, account...) to be included but it's an empty Calendar event in Outlook with the Subject of "First Call". At the very least a hyperlink to the Activity in Zoho would be helpful. Are we doing something wrong?Zoho mail integration
I have been evaluating Zoho mail integration and have two main issues that I'd like an update on, please. From what I've read, these issues were all being worked on by Zoho last year but there doesn't look to have been any activity on resolving them recently and it is keeping us from using Zoho mail effectively. Dear Concerned We're facing a peculiar problem. Email conversations with many leads is showing in the email trail of one particular lead. we're worried whether all our emails are going a copy to this person or it is a zoho bug. when we open that email it nowhere shows the email address of that particular lead in which all other emails are showing. I have been a heavy Salesforce.com user in the past and used a third-party plugin called LinkPoint360 for outlook that integrated with Salesforce.com. ZOHO has some similar features as LinkPoint; however one of the features that is extremely useful is the ability to highlight the contacts business card info and then drag it to either create a lead, contact or account and contact. I have been exploring and using both Project and CRM tools. I initially installed Outlook plug in as the trial but did not get it to work as it was just part of my testing this was not part of workflow so i didn't chase this. However colleagues are now added as users and we plan to integrate CRM and Projects to production workflow. I installed the plugin for Outlook 2010, I can get the contacts to export using the plugin but never to sync properly to Zoho.com. I am trying to sync my Zoho Calendar and my Google Calendar through the Google Apps plugin. Some of the events on my Google calendar have shown up on my Zoho calendar, but not all of them. Hi, I'd like to evaluate Outlook addin with Zoho. I'm runing W7 pro 64 bits with Outlook 2010 64 bits. I've downloaded the 64 bits addin, closed Outolook, installed the complement and open outlook again. (i've tried a couple of times) The installation has been ok aparently, but, the add in is not active in Outlook. I go to file->Options->Complements and the "Zoho CRM Outlook Plugin" is present but, is inactive. Outlook Plugin only allows you to attach emails to the Contacts page in Zoho CRM, but does not allow you to attach emails to Cases. Hi, I downloaded and successfully installed the Outlook plugin 15-day trial. I am using the free ZOHO CRM, and Outlook 2010 under W7 (64b). The plugin seems to be installed correctly. When I try to login using either my username & password, i get the error message: "You must specify a valid username and password" I tried to activate the Outlook for my user (admin), but the error is that I i exceeded my licenses. Hi guys, I am under fire from my organization for selecting Zoho CRM without compatibility with Office 2010. If a change is then made (like time is updated) and I try to reexport to Zoho I get an error message that this item has already been added.
