Need Suggestion on Setup
I am building a Zoho CRM project for a local political party. I want to track an elected official without making multiple entries. Said elected official has 3 official offices in the state, one in DC, plus has a campaign office, and a personal address. Do I use the Accounts module to list the politician, then use contacts for each of the offices? How would I then assign the individuals managing each office to their location if I do it that way. Or do I do it in reverse, list down as an account each
Capture the status of a converted Quote
Hello, When converting a quote to a sales order or invoice, does the CRM log that the quote has been converted? I thought that the "quote status" pick list field was automatically being updated to Delivered, but since adding extra pick list options this doesn't seem to work now. I want to show open quotes based on quotes that have not been converted to a sales order. Many thanks, Pete

Hi, using Zoho CRM with latest Chrome on Windows. We can create a web form easily. However both "captch" and "upload file" under advanced tools can not be dragged into the form. Any ideas?
Pick List Won't Populate
I have created a pick List with 5 different options to pick from. I go into Set-up, Customization, Fields and then click on the Module that has my Pick List in it. Since I was changing the names of each of the 5 "picks" I simply clicked "edit" deleted all but one of the "picks" and then added 4 new picks with different names. I think there is a bug in the mobile version(android app) of task
there is an annoying bug in the task version(android app), here is the issue, lets say there is task pending witch was previously made on the computer and while on the road if someone would want to edit this already made task although the associated contact is visible on the display screen of this task when we go in edit mode, the task loses its associated contact and we have to find the contact all over again to re-associated it to this task.
Unable to identify account via 3rd party web portal
Hi, I'm trying to use your webforms to create a case (or custom module entry) from within another website. We need to link an account to the entry and have tried two solutions: Our preferred solution would be to use the account number instead of the name (because names are more error prone), but this seems to be impossible - whenever I try add a custom lookup field to a module, I can't enter the account number but only the account name (see attached screenshot for configuration) Using the account
slowness when searching
i have noticed since the latest round of changes that when you search for a company name etc it takes longer and scrolls through the various modules it checks which never happened before there seems to be an overall slowness issue in places. including when i create a new potential from the account module it have to go into potentials to in to the account from there but doesnt show up on the account immediately after saving it. also when i restore something from recycle bin it takes ages to be put
Feeds don't work
Hi, I try to use Feeds module, I've created Groups, but only some of them are shown on the left tab and then when I want to publish something for all users, it just does't work, I have always a message saying "Write your first message" (In french).
Reordording notes in Task
When we go into a task we noticed that the notes are in oldest first whereas Companies is oldest last. Is there a way to define the order?

Hi there, We have created a new user profile named "manager" and provided it with the full capabilities for the Client "contacts" module as per the first screenshot attached. However, none of the users that were setup as "manager" could edit or delete a client record as per the attched screenshots as well. Kindly help

Remove the header and footer when printing an invoice from ZOHO CRM?
Paid subscription of CRM, Looking to make use of invoicing in the CRM module. When invoices print " Header appears with header: "Date" on left and "ZoHo CRM - Inventory Details" centered. Also, footer prints with https://crm.zoho.com/crm/PrintLayout.do How do I get rid of these? Thanks in advance. Dan

Account & Contact Layout: Selection by Alphabet Letter on the top of the page
Hi, I have a large database of contacts and accounts. I also keep the views for both the Accounts and Contacts on "50 records per page". In doing so, I have to scroll to the end of the page to select another letter for viewing. The layout would be more effective if the row of alpha characters were on the top of the page. Thanks

Mass cloneing for repeating potentials?
How can I mass clone repeating potentials from this month to next month without going one by one to each potential screen? I have tried everything including creating them in the docs spreadsheet and then exporting to my computer and importing into the crm which is crazy and awkward.

Hi there. New user to ZoHo, looking for the easiest route to creating user reports to monitor remote worker activity. I have searched the forum and the only anser I can find is to utilize setup>data adminstration>audit log. When folloing this route, I have no "audit log" facility on the drop down. I am logged in as administrator and have super-admin facilities. Any advice, help or tips would gratefull received.
Additional fields on CRM Home Page
I am a home working telemarketer and use Zoho CRM to manage my activities for multiple clients. My Zoho wish list would include the ability to display the 'Ownership' field on the Home Page so that I am able to identify which client's contacts I am calling. Hi, I am considering using ZOHO and wondering if you can put me on the right track. I have a medical consultancy business and assist about 300 doctors. I want to enter all their details into the system and add some documents etc and also an expiry date when I need to contact them next. Are they CONTACTS? How to close Zoho free account?
How do I cancel free account with ZOHO. I have emailed two times and left a phone msg. HELP! This system is difficult to use with WordPress. In the business I am in this is important to make sure I am following up on a routine basis with my leads and just for time purposes do not want to open each lead to see when I last left a note. Importing and exporting notes
I am migrating from a Zoho CRM (free version) to another Zoho CRM (paid version) and so far everything went well, I exported my contacts, leads, and the old CRM potential, and imported them to the new CRM. The problem occurs with the notes. The csv file generated in the export is created with flaws (as you can see in the image attached) so that the information is not correlated properly, the effect of import occurs with failures, some contacts are notes and not others. Preventing user/profiles from exporting data from Zoho CRM
When adding new users onto CRM, is there a way of preventing them from exporting data (specifically accounts, contacts, leads and potentials)? We've taken on a new sales resource on a trial period and don't want them to be able to walk away with our data!! Any advice would be grateful. Nik (Super Admin)

Word Wrap in Notes Section
While using the notes section, I press enter to add extra lines in my notes. Starting today, the notes just wrap around. This doesn't allow the extra lines I need. Is this a permanent change or is it temporary?

feature request - separate first and last name in list view CRM
It would be really helpful to separate first and last name into separate columns in the list view of Zoho CRM. That way we can chose to sort alphabetically by first name OR last name without having to change the name defaults in our personal settings each time.
Sort order in Potentials incorrect
I deleted all of the stages in Potentials Stages and replaced them with new values. I was careful to enter each stage according to where it ranks (i.e., 1, 2, 3, 4...). When I sort by Ascending, the sort order is incorrect. It worked when I sorted by Descending but now it is frozen. I just started using Zoho today!
