Automate contact creation in CRM
Just curious if there is a way to automatically make email fields in Parent and child accounts automatically create their own contacts? For example, we have about 4 emails associate with each child account. Ideally when we mass import all the data it would create contacts for each unique email address. (name isn't even that import, just trying to track the emails with the mail add on) Otherwise we have to create the data by hand for contacts. (we could mass import them but then would still have

In Custom Module, Get Field from Linked Module.
Let's say I want to create a custom module called Calc. The Calc module contains a Lookup field to the Product module. On the Calc module I want to have a custom field that looks up the unit price of the associated product. In other words, based on the linked Product, I want to create a field in the Calc module that shows the product's unit price.
Making a field not mandatory

How do I create a separate list of my accounts
I would like to be able to search my accounts and select individual records and make a favourites list or maybe a follow up list that I could print, or maybe create lists by post code that I can access and print without having to print the entire database. So far I have managed to create a custom module called work lists with an account look up but cannot find a way for it to display the clients address etc. Can someone please help me I am struggling to handle the fact that I cant even select a bunch
Send email using email template
Unable to utilize an email template to send mail. In Contacts, check box for contact, "send mail", email template dropdown list is empty. But template does exist, viewed through Setup. Suggestions?
Rollback or undo a mass update?
I accidentally selected the wrong field when making a mass update, and I need to undo it. Is there any provision for this? I can't seem to find it.
Change field type
In the "Calls" module (which I believe is a subset of Activities) I want to either change the field Call Result from Text (255 character limit) to Text Area (64,000 character limit) OR add a custom field that I will use to replace Call Result. Unfortunately, I can not find a way to do either. I can add custom fields to the any other modules, but not Calls. This does not make a lot of sense, so can someone get back to me with a solution?
How to automatically update a field on insertion
Hi, I have implemented WebToContact Integration for my Organization. Everything seems to be working fine as far as insertion is concerned. However, once the record get submitted online and uploaded to the CRM, it needs to get reviewed by the department. To keep track of that, I have created a 'pick list' field which should go in pending state by default once a new record is created in CRM. How can I achieve that? Colour-coded pages
Hi, Is there any way we can change the background colours depending on what area of a customers account we are in? I am not able to link a Facebook lead for friends. I have tried several variations of the name and it simply will not work. For example, if I have a lead named Nathaniel Tucker that I'm a friend with on Facebook, it does not find them. If I try to add the middle name or the city/state at the end, it still doesn't work. Tasks disappearing on edit
We are having issues with edited activities saving on the contact closed activities. I understand that it needs to be related to the Account, but even with this it is disappearing. The call will save the first time, but if she edits the call it disappears. When you edit the call box it shows Related to and contact populated, but when you save it empties the info so is not attaching to the contact/account, it empties all the fields. Language issue (Spanish)

I want to compare values from fields in 2 different modules, to use on a Workflow Rule. I need to check if the field "Discount %" on module Quote is greater than the same field on the related module Account. Both are custom fields.
Field Update Automation
It would be nice if a rule could trigger a field update that is a little more sophisticate than just putting text into a box. I would like to update a field based on another field. For example, set Invoices.Subject = Invoices.Invoice Number. Hi guys, ZoHo CRM works well for us. What really disturbs my workflow however is the poor search functionality. It seems that you cannot filter on 'relevancy' of search results, nor does it control for spelling errors. For our business this is extra difficult, since our customers and target audience are in the same field and thus have similar names. Call Box Customization
I recently found out that when you relate a call to a campaign instead of account that the activity no longer shows on the account under closed activity. I find this in error, as I am placing the call on the account, but I need to relate it to a campaign to track focus/service line of call. Why is the call box not customizable?
