Email to Lead
When entering info on a lead from the lead list I scroll down and click on email (to send them info from us) the email template used to pop up and you can proceed with emailing your lead (while you are still on the phone with them). Now when I hit email nothing appears but when I close that lead the email template will appear and nothing else???
Invoice not displaying discounts
Hi Ladies & Gents I have completed my first invoice including discounts on line items. When pdf'ed or print viewed the discount totals do not show on the line items only the pre discounted list price. The grand total includes the discounts. The invoice does not read correctly for the customer. How do I display the correct line sub totals in the pdf I wish to send? I have attached a screen shot Hope you can help
Product Details don't show up in any columns
I want to be able to see which products are associated with an invoice at a glance. I have the 'Product Details' column in the list in the 'Invoices' module, however nothing ever shows up in that field.

Mass Edit for Leads
I need to add all existing leads to a campaign. Is there a way to do this through a mass edit, or do I need to go into each lead individually and assign a campaign to them? Thanks!
Report showing leads that don't have a current open activity attached
Is it possible to create a report that will show leads that do not have a current open activity attached? In other words, we're holding our sales staff accountable for leads so they don't go "stale." Having a report that would show a list of leads that don't have something scheduled to do in the future would help identify stale leads.
leads owner
I just started working in Zoho, and it works well. i am trying to assign lead owners already in the excel file to import into zoho, but their is a lock symbol on my lead owners tab. how can i change that or how can i assign lead owners already from excel. I dont want to do it in zoho i know how but directly from excel. thanks.
Users - Unable to create or edit profiles or roles
Hi Zoho support .. I need to create two new users for Zoho (one currently active) I can create these - but by default they are created with: - Role = CEO - Profile = Admin Have reviewed the online manuals, but the options described to create or edit Roles & Profiles are not there Also - is it possible to set security by Profile (or role) - e.g. no data export I use the 'old free' edition with some paid add-ons Would appreciate any guidance that can be offered Thanks Ross

Why is e-mail-templates limited to 22.000 characters. This is a major blocker as we have HTML templates with more than 22.000 characters. Is their a setting we change for this to work!
Mass Update of Events Record Owners?
We have hundreds of contacts and for each events are added to them throughout the year. However if a record owner of the events under one contact change, is there a way to mass update all the record owners of the events under that contact? So far I've only been able to do it one event at a time.
Potentials Stage History
I am looking for a way to generate a report and/or do more things with stage history. I want to be able to generate a report that shows me how long my Potentials are sitting in each stage shows average number of days for stages gives ability to generate metrics on how long Potentials are in the pipeline (e.g how long from quote to signed contract) allows to show trends from month to month on each stage. I don't see this capability thus far. Any pointers?
Showing Line Items In Email Templates
Our previous CRM let us create an email template that had line items in the email body. Isn't this possible in Zoho? For example, whenever a quotation is created, I want to automatically send an email template to the manager with all of the line items that are on the quotation. In essence, I want to send the quotation in the body of the email template. Alternatively, I could live with attaching the quotation in PDF form to the email. Auto Notification to call a potential 5 days after creating the potential.
I have created a task rule for me to call a customer 5 days after submitted a potential but its not working correctly instead it wil send the notification to me as soon as I i have created the potential. What i have in there seem to relate to the Due Date field, which is not important to our business and don't use it and only select the date at the end of the month the potential was created in, as is it is a mandatory field. I'm not sure if Alert will do what i require, i just want it to remind

How to remove time from a datetime formula
I am trying to add/subtract a certian number of days based off of an existing date field. I have the formula down, but it also returns a time (default to 12:00AM). How can I remove the time from this and just have the date?

Hi all. I've been to asked to assist a couple of friends in implementing a CRM for their small editing business, having previous experience in doing some nonprofit Salesforce admin stuff. We're not decided whether Zoho or Salesforce (or any other CRM) is the best option for us. In any case, I know there will be some requirements that go beyond what I can cobble together from different out of the box solutions. when searching for email why do I get results "Matching Leads" AND "Matching Contacts"
when searching for email on main screen upper right corner in search field, why do I get results in "Matching Leads" AND "Matching Contacts" for the same email address when in fact there is only one record in either Leads or Contacts. Do Leads also have separate Contacts associated with them or is the Leads database a flat file with no "contacts" related in separate table/database.? George

Is there some way to easily find out how to use the "De-Duplicate" method? I've been having a hard time finding out how to do this, and I see that I'm not the only one. Or if there is a way that I could find all the duplicate files I have, that would be great as well.

Activites not displaying lead names
My activities list has tasks for leads and my prospects, but only shows the name of the prospect not the lead????? So, it says Prospect Name and then is blank for the lead???

Can I search on "Text Area" type of field in "Contacts" and "Leads" module in either View or Reports? I tried to search for "is not empty" and there were no results even though I know many records have text in it. Thank you. george
Leads in custom views are mixed together (out of the blue for no reason) !!!
I had Three different lists of leads thousands of names and contact information all sorted correctly and when I arrived to work this morning all of them were mixed for together for seemingly no reason at all. I did not do anything to change there location. Why would this happen? When I attempted to move them back to the proper location most of them were lost completely. why would this happen? With the Standard Plan can I add additional "from" email address
If I am the only user but upgrade from the free to standard plan, can I add another email address as a "from" to my templates? This addtional "From" email address would be the only purpose the the address and would not use or administrate the CRM. Thanks.

Creating a Formula Field for a %
Hi, I was wanting to know if I can create a field that returns a % of another field. For example, I have an amount field I have in my customer crm, I want to create another field that returns 19% of this Amount field as this one amount I charge for our fees. I am having trouble trying to figure out how to do this? If I can do this, I then want to create another field that subtracts the 19% from the Amount field, to show what the customer should receive. Zoho templates for estimates and invoices
I've had really bad luck creating templates for invoices and estimates in zoho that meet a minimum level of presentation for us. We've even tried hiring someone to create one for us. The results were pretty unimpressive. See attached "zoho estimate template.pdf". I've also attached a sample from our quickbooks system. Outlook Plugin not Compatible?
Hi , I have a new laptop with windows 8, and outlook 2010 . The Zoho plugin once downloaded tell me it is wrong version when I try to install. When it asks if I want to install the right version , I agree and it downloads the 32-bit version and then gives me the same message. Any ideas / solutions would be much appreciated as I use this plugin a lot Thanks .. Jim
Updating fields with formula?
I currently have lastnames in "Proper" case and want to change them all to "UPPER" case. Can I use UCASE Or UPPER() or something like that and how do i reference a field in the "replace with" ?
