Event - Date time field - Only houly intervals
Since the updates I can only select hourly intervals for events. Any that have already been set with times not on the hour cannot be updated. Is there a setting somewhere to control this?
Tasks are disconnected from leads
Hi, I am using ZOHO CRM for a couple of years. Since yesterday i'm experiencing a problem with zoho CRM. As written in the subject line; the tasks which are used to be connected to my leads are disconnected. So: All my old (open / completed etc) tasks are disconnected, even if i make a new task, connect the task to a lead, saving the task and opening the task, the connection between task and lead isnt saved. Does Zoho ever respond to their service/new feature requests?
This is actually a serious question, not just a complaint. I am very new to Zoho and, although I like it, there are several areas that need to be fixed and improved - Templates don't work very well, Custom Modules need to be available for Mail Merge, etc. As I searched for fixes to these problems, I have noticed that they have been brought up months and even years ago by other users. I also asked for a fairly simple custom field, but there is no indication that I am going to get it anytime soon.
How do I print a whole calendar day?
I print out my days & weeks, and cannot do this with the new updated view. How can I do this? I need to be able to see all events on 1 sheet of paper, and if I right click, it does not work....
Email Templates
Update Edit Before yesterdays updates. I have a lot of email templates that on build You choose the user email address you want it sent from, that part still works, however when a user selects a template to send before the updates they had the option to select either the email address it was setup with or the email address they are now logged in with, Since the updates you can now no longer send from the Email address the template was set up with only with your login email address is anyone else
Custom Event Fields are Gone!
All of my custom event fields have stopped working with the new Event Layout. Furthermore I cannot see any of my historical data from these fields!!
New Calendar - How to View Other User Calendar
It appears the Calendar option in ZoHo have changed. How do I now view calendars for other users?
How can I remove fields from Closed Activities section of a lead?
Once an activity is closed, I do not want to see when it was due or what the status is (if it is closed, I assume it is completed). Can anyone tell me how to remove these fields from this view. Thanks in advance. Tom
Duplicate Accounts
I ended up with multiple instances of EVERY account I uploaded, When I uploaded my accounts in to ZOHO it created an account for every contact, so if an account had 20 contacts, there is now 20 accounts instead of just one company name with 20 contacts. is there a way to delete or merge duplicate accounts? Populate a field based on another field selection
On the Create Case screen, once the Account is selected, only the Contacts related to that Account show in the Related To field. Once the Contact is selected in the Related To field, the Phone and Email address automatically populates on the Case screen. I would like to add a custom field to the Case screen that will automatically populate the Contact Mailing Street as well once the Contact is selected. I tried different things but it did not work. I can I best do this?
New updates/access?
With the new updates that occurred over the weekend, now people I have set to administrator cannot view all activities...even though the administrator role still says they have the ability. Is there a quick fix for this? I really need a fix asap! thanks!
Web to lead forms
There is an error in the web-to-lead source code ... for required fields, 'return checkMandatory()' is incorrectly spelled 'Mandatery'. Until Zoho corrects, just manually retype. Look for two instances of typo.
Understanding tasks and calls
I'm not understanding workflow for calls and follow-up calls. An incoming sales call arrives, so I create the lead and record the call. When I save the call, I use the "save and schedule followup task" and schedule it for the next day. When the next day arrives, I click on the task to read details. There's no way to close it from there, so I click back to get to the list, then click the close button. All it does is close it as a task. I do not get the options like I do for items of type "call"
Option to Select Sender from Email Template is GONE
Previously when sending an email I was able to select who I wanted to email to come from in Zoho, even though I set up the template to always come from a specific email this feature did not seem to be working, but I could work around that by selecting the sender. This morning I no longer have that option and even though the template sender is one specific email address, it always come from the current user. Please advise.
Oh No!
The new layout is now causing me to take extra steps. When I create a new event, I like to put a specific task all at the same time, now I have to verify that I want to schedule it because something else is already scheduled at that time. I liked how I could hit the month and clearly see my tasks all in a row & the name of the person when I put my cursor over it, now I cannot. Can you please fix this. Sorting Potentials by Last Name
I changed the settings to where I can view leads and contacts by last name ( Set up -> Personal Settings - Name Format -> Last Name, First Name, Salutation) but it say's that's only for Users, Leads and Contacts... but what if I wanted to view my Potentials by last name???
URGENT, All of my company's events are no longer showing up on my CRM. I can only see Tasks but no Sales or Lead Appointments.

Adding fields

User privileges / accesses
Hi, I can not find a way to restrict users from viewing / accessing and editing company information. All users can access and change organisation setting, customisation, web integration and other admin functions. I have restricted access in their profile and roles but it seems to still be available to all users through their setup function. Any help with this will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Kezia
CRM Not Working

CRM- unable to manage users for the last 20 hours or so
Greetings, Since about this time yesterday, the page for "Manage Users" in Zoho CRM starts to load and stays on "Please Wait..." with the loading bars flashing. I've tried IE, Firefox and Chrome, and then I logged into a PC in another city and tried there. Still the same result. Will this functionality be back this weekend? Thanks! Greg

Can I add an additional activity?
Currently, activities are setup as tasks, calls, and events. Would it be possible to add another type of activity: reviews requested. We are trying to tie in our reviews requested from another system in with our activities. Would love to be able to run one report that would contain all of this information. CRM: Customizing Tenants fields in Account view
We are using Zoho CRM. We have an "Accounts" view for our properties and a "Tenants" view for our tenants. When viewing an Account record, I am able to see a list of basic Tenant information associated with the Account. However, I would like to add additional Tenant fields to the list view (including Lease Start date and Lease End date). I am unable to customize the Tenants view in the cross referenced list on the Accounts using any of the Settings pages. Can someone please help?
Document Sharing and eMailing
So let me see if I have this right: 1. If I upload a document into the Documents area of the CRM, I can't share it, but I can email it. 2. If I upload a document into Zoho Docs, I can share it, but I can't email it. How can I both share a document and make it available for me to email from the CRM? I can do this in Google.
Formula Field Display
Hi - I'm sure this is simple but cannot find the answer anywhere? How do I get the result from a formula field to display in a screen form, eg in the Opportunity Form I'm simply trying to display Length of Contract * Monthly value to get total booking value. Zoho CRM - mobile Custom views - not seeing certain fields in the list (not custom fields)
I'm looking at a mobile view of my potentials on my tablet. I've reset the application and all custom views show up. But the display of the list of the potentials is only the name of the potential and the date. No other fields - in this case I need account name to show up in the listing. Am I missing something here? Thanks in advance.
Show mails sent to a potential's contacts also in the potential itself, not only in the contact's details
I have a potential with two contacts attached to it. I have sent emails to both of the contacts and they appear in the email history of the contact. However they do NOT appear in the email part of the potential. I would like to have all the mails that have been sent to any of the contacts of a potential, to also show up in the potential itself. Otherwise our sales reps have to open each of the contacts to see which emails have been exchanged regarding the potential. How can I achieve this?
How to define email template that allows me to attach a document from the lead instead of a attachment for all leads.
For email templates, is there a way to add a variable to an email so that it attaches a document associated with the lead when an email is sent? Based on what I see, I can only attach a single file that gets used for the email template. I would like a specific email template to be sent for each lead.
