Is it possible to create dynamic criteria for a report so that it will filter in real time. How to update a field in one module when a field in another module is modified
I have two fields in two modules that are the same. I would like to be able to automatically update the parent fields from the child fields but have not been able to create the correct workflow rule or deluge script to do this. When I try to delete the Description section in "Edit Page Layout" I get this warning: Warning: This section is supplied by Zoho CRM and it is translated for International users. Duplicate listings in reports
Hello, I was hoping someone may be able to help me with my reports duplicating entries. For example; 1 proposal with a value of $5,000 gets listed 2 times (or more, instead of just once) and thus is added up in the report to a value of $10,000 ($5,000 x number of duplications). This is incorrect. I only want it listed once. When I modify the stage of a proposal (for example from "quote" to "proposal won") it creates a history of this change. Can I link contacts to one another (i.e. referral, colleagues, etc.)?
I want to have the ability to create relationships between contacts. If I have a particular contact that is a decision maker and sits in another state and they have me go to their local office for work, I want to be able to show there are two contacts that are linked for the one account. This would also be used in a scenario if one lead refers another to us, I want to show that relationship as well. Any ideas on how to do this?

Hello Zoho CRM The map dependency fields is a great feature. But as it breaks single editing of fields mapped in the view of a Lead or Contact we abandoned mapping until usability has improved. Hi, I want to check how many potentials turn into lost after each stage. I want to calculate the probabilities of winning a deal for each stage. How can I obtain such data? Contracts with multiple accounts
I work for a small business that does work with the federal government. On many of our contracts, we have a subcontract who works with us. I'd like to be able to link a contract to more than one account, but haven't found a way to be able to do this. The primary account would be the client (e.g., FBI), but would like to set up a secondary account for the subcontractor. Is there a way to do this that I just haven't figured out yet? Hi, I imported a list from a xls file. Went the process. It says it successfully uploaded 300 leads. When I go to see the leads I have I don't see any there that I uploaded. Am I missing something? Jon

On the lead record there is a section for open and closed activity. If I record a call it shows up with date fields etc. The results noted in the call do not show up here. Is it possible to edit this so that they do? After all the results are the most important feature of the call.

Folder management within the Documents area
I am wondering if I am missing something. Within the CRM Documents if I create a folder (A) and a second folder (B), but now decide that B should be a sub-folder of A, I can't see how to move folders. Additionally, I can't seem to move documents across top level folders, I can move them anywhere within the the top level folder, but not outside of it to another folder. Hi All, Forgive me if this a simple task - I cannot for the life of me understand how to do this..! Our company hierarchy is: Director --> Sales Manager --> Account Manager. I want the Account Manager to go to "Dashboards" and see their own pipeline by stage, pipeline by customer, lead stats etc. Currently, when they go into the "Opportunity" Dashboard, they see "Pipeline by Stage" - but this shows all pipeline for all users, not just their own stats. Hi, I have created dependency fields to minimize data entry errors by our reps but this has created an error of its own. For all of the parent field options that have more than one child field option that applies I also include none so it doesn't default to anything. But by doing this when a rep selects the parent field the child field switches from -none- to none making it a valid option when it really isn't. Soft Pick List
When creating a new Task, the Subject field has an icon to the right that allows you to select from a pick list... yet it is not required that you use one of the defined options. It is the only Pick List field in Zoho that is set this way. In the Field Customization Area for Tasks, you can add different options to the Pick List, but there is no other indication of how to replicate this field implementation. Reply emails go into a black hole?
When replying to email, it seems the reply goes into a black hole somewhere. There is not a record on my clients contact that the email was sent and there is not a record of it in the sent folder. This is a serious issue and I hope Zoho is aware of this??
Duplicate Email Address problem
Hello, We have the "NO DUPLICATE" email address option checked. Recently we attempted to convert a lead to a contact and opportunity and got the error that it couldn't convert due to duplicate email. We have searched the contact database and opportunity database and this email address does not show in the system anywhere. Anyone have any ideas? For now, we just deleted the email address and converted with a contact without an email address and are moving forward from there
Restricting visibility at the Module level
How can I assign permissions based on profile at the Module level? Specifically, I would like to restrict certain profiles from seeing financial data in Quotes, but some fields containing financial data in quotes are mandatory and I cannot restrict visibility. The only thing I could think of was to restrict visibility to the entire Quotes module for certain Profiles. Thanks.
