Tracking Off-Line Activites
If I send a free product sample to 250 accounts, what is the best way to track this in Zoho? Likewise, If I send out 500 customized sales letters via snail mail, how do I import that info. Obviously, manually updating the leads would not be effective. We would need to import these items. Are they "activities", "events" or what? We would need to import them so that they would show up in order and in a visible spot. Our account base is not highly technical so these types of "old school" marketing
Sales Process
We have two distinct sales processes, one for signing up installers for our product and one for direct consumer leads. Is there a way to have two unique processes in the system with their own "stages" and related % of close? In keeping with this question, can we thus set up two distinct customers with their own unique sales process?
LEAD CONVERSION
I created some custome fields in the Leads Tab. When I converted the lead to an account and an opportunity it did not transfer the data I had entered in the custome fields. Did I do something incorrect? THX, Al Al Alvares

Outlook Email 2 & Email 3?
I've noticed that I had a few duplicates in Outlook, which had in turn duplicated themselves in Zoho (Since I had Zoho sync with outlook). However, some of the contacts had 2 or 3 different email addresses, and there's no eloquent way to do this. Can I add additional "Custom Fields" to migrate the Outlook "Email 2" and "Email 3"?
merging crm accounts

Import Vendors & Associated Contacts in One CSV Upload
I am a new user and would like to import about 300 vendors as well as the people associated with those vendors as contacts. I can set up a CSV file to; Vendor Name, Contact Name, Telephone etc. My question is how can I import them so the contacts are imported to contacts and the company they work for is imported to Vendors? My first attempt was unsuccessful so I also need a helping hand deleting all the existing records and starting over again. Thanks in advance for your help.
Creating a revenue forecast
Hello, I'm looking to input a varying monthly revenue forecast into Zoho for new customers that do not have an established run rate. e.g. Expected revenue from new Customer X could be $20K in June, $0 July, $40K in August, $0 September, then say $100K per month from October onwards. Ok so I just signed out to try out ZOHO. First thing I need to ask is there any online chat support from this company? I am guessing not since I do not see a chat tab or a drop down under support. Account activity view customization
I can see someone asked this question two years ago, but no updates since then. I would like to customize the headings which appear in the Activities area when I click on an account. This would be for both the Closed and Open Activities sections. Instead of the Start Date Time and End Date Time we would like to see the contact name of the person the activity was conducted with. Is there any way to modify this view?

How to see which records were skipped on import
I am importing leads into Zoho. I get the status that the leads were imported and that 9993 were added and 6 were skipped. (Reason: Due to empty values for any of the mandatory fields) But I don't know which 6 were skipped I sorted my excel file that I started with and do not see any empty cells. When importing that many items it is important to know which items are skipped. Thank you!

How do I create a potential without creating an account?
When one of my salespeople gives a demo to a new lead, I want that Lead to be converted to a Potential and a follow-up to be scheduled. However, when I hit "convert" to create a Potential out of that Lead, Zoho also creates an Account for that Potential. What am I doing wrong? I want my Accounts to only reflect those that have decided to join our service and become customers, not those that were just given a demo.

I have been not receiving my system generated emails for over a month now. I have about 5-10 new leads generated on my web form every day. Once a new lead is assigned I get a notification email. Zoho sign up form looks bad
Hi There - I've created 2 form integrations for my website - the first one looks okay when I use the Embed code. The second one which is meant to capture emails and add them to our contacts so we can include them in our bulletins looks terrible. Is there a way to import Contacts and have the "Company" field on the import automatically create a new "Vendor"? My plan is to use Zoho CRM to manage my vendors, not as a sales CRM. How do you delete obsolete Competitors?
I have been doing some testing to establish some best practices and procedures for using the Competitor's Section of a Potential. For the sake of expediency I created fictitious competitors. However, now that my testing is complete I want to remove these companies form the list to avoid confusion. I have searched the User Guide and I cannot find a way to do this. How do I export, modify and reimport data to CRM?
We need to export all our Accounts probably once a month as we run them through an external system that updates certain fields, then we reimport them to update the records. In Salesforce on import we choose to update existing records. I just exported all accounts from Zoho and I kept just the Account ID and Account Name fields, then put sample data in a few other fields and then ran the import wizard. Hello I have been working with the Zoho system for only a week now, so I am fairly new to it! I am trying to work out how to get a chain of emails to send - so the first email goes when a contact is added to the Leads, then the second email is automated to send after a set period of time, and another after that.
