How do I view my leads/contacts alphebetically by last name?
For some reason, I can't find how to change it to alphabetically view by last name. It keeps coming up by first name.
Changing a User's Email Address
An employee of mine has left and we've hired someone to take her place. How can I change the old user's email address to the new user's email address? I've read that I can deactivate the old user, but I'd like all her leads and accounts to be transferred as well. Look forward to your reply.
Feature Request: Under Themes, Select Custom Tabs just for the Individual User
In my position, I don't need all the tabs that were created for the whole company. I actually only need like, 4 of them. And the 2 tabs that I use the most, are always in the "more" tab, and never stays on the main menu bar. Since I don't use all the other tabs that my team members use, it would be nice to be able to select just the tabs I need in the Main Menu bar so that I can work more efficiently. having to constantly search for my main tabs in the "More" section starts to get frustrating at

Cold calling to book meetings - is Zoho CRM the right solution?
I want my sales people to be able to do cold calling and book meetings. If they succeed, I want them to be able to find a time with the prospect which then should be transfered to Google Calendar. Obviously, if there's no response, the sales people should be able to mark the lead as someone they should call later on (at a specific time/day). Is Zoho CRM the right solution for this and if so, where can I find a good explanation of such a workflow. Thanks

Carrying over Contact address info to New Sales Order.
I'm doing B2C and working with "Contacts" instead of "Accounts" When I go to create a New Sales Order or New Invoice, I link the contact, but it doesn't copy over the Contact address info into the New Sales Order. I tested it using Accounts and it works - but I have all my clients as "Contacts" because it is easier for me to convert leads and preserve the contact info. In my type of business I prefer to work with Contacts, and not accounts. I hope there's a solution for this. Thank you so much in

Dear Zoho Can you explain how to attach a photo (or any pdf/jpeg/xls etc) to a record.? I presume this facility is not available. If not when could this be added? While the upload function is useful, it does not really add value over other cloud storage systems, such as dropbox. Hi I have a couple of issues with Zoho CRM Calendars. When we view all we cant tell which events are for which person. Is their a way to show different peoples calendars different colours. Also when we receive an invitation from another user the event does not go into the invited persons calendar.
Insufficient privileges as an administrator? Is that possible????
I have been having trouble using my ZOHO account from home on a different computer. Often it would give a message that I do not have sufficient privileges when that is not the case as I am administrator to the account. I also have been unable to add the parent company to a company and have tried it several times yesterday and even today but unable to do it saying unable to process your request; Click to go back. Is there a way to add a received email to a contact or potential email history other than history of the person sending it. Multiple databases
I have my own ACT database, I have a client that uses Zoho and I love the fact that there is the mobile app and cloud access. So now I want to put my own ACT database into Zoho. How easy will it be to access the 2 databases given that I cannot link them or put all the information in one place.
Lead Organisation
I am finding that the Zoho leads list always starts on the page with letter 'P' and no matter where I am within my leads database if I press the 'back' button it reverts back to that page. This is obviously a bug and being that Zoho is free I have a certain tolerance level but this is actually getting quite annoying. Does anyone know anything about this? Zoho developers can you fix this?
Replace Custom Field (Pick List) from "-None-"
I have created a custom field for a module with a Pick List of 3 items, defaulted to Item 1. However, this does not update all existing records to have that default value. Then I tried to use the "Replace" function to change from "-none-" to Item 1, however it gives me an error saying that "Value cannot be none". Can you please get the development team to fix this feature, as editing each record manually is not something I want to do. Thank you!

Email Templates by Record Types - But No Way to Send Them
Why is it that I can create an email template for pretty much any record type. However only certain record types can be emailed from within Zoho??? For example you CANNOT email an Account or Vendor but you CAN email a Lead, Potential, or Contact. Yet...I can create email templates for all of them. Can you please explain this...
Urgent Problem CRM emails
URGENT A new bug has appeared in CRM when sending emails. You can no longer include Zoho fields such as ${leads.First Name} in the subject line of an email. Hi, Surely by now there would be a feature where the Description field (on the product record) is automatically populated into the Product Description when adding it/them into a quote?? How can I delete a forecast and create a new one? Example: I've created a Q4 2013 but now want to delete it and make a new one. My main problem here is that I changed my roles hierarchy and now the information showing on the forecast tab is not corrected(duplicates) because I had to merge diferent roles in order to delete them.
New User, Having Problems Entering Amounts for Potentials
I just started using Zoho today, after being a Salesforce user for years. I imported my accoutns, contacts, and opportunities (potentials), but the "Amount" field does not carry over with the import. When I try to manually enter the amount, I get an error message saying "null". I've tried entering with and without the dollar sign, commas, and period but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions?
adding contact to existing customer

It is absolutely ridiculous how problematic it is to try to close a free account. We have, over time, evidentially opened more than one trial account. Now we are actually trying to open an account to run our business on Zoho and it won't let me use an email address from our own domain because it had been used months ago. All I want to do is close EVERYTHING and start over. I am getting so aggravated I am about to go to a different service.
