Mass Update
I have imported 2000+ contacts from Outlook (via comma deliniated file), and succesfully imported. We might have 30-50 contacts from one account name (hospitals are our marketplace), and when they were put into outlook the the account name was not always entered the same way. For example: Miami Childrens Hospital vs Miami Childrens. This has created a problem when entering the account name, and then finding associated contacts....as there may as many as 8 different accounts created for that
Potential Closing Date Changes Automatically
I was using zoho crm and the potential list without any problem until today when suddenly the closing date changes automatically without any activity from me. The closing date was originally today's date: 04/02/2014(4th feb) but suddenly it changes automatically to 02/04/2014(2nd April) at first I thought the date formate changes from dd/mm/yyyy to mm/dd/yyyy but the date actually changes with the same format. It has been like this for several times now, where we change it back to the correct date
Feature Request - BCC'ing
When emailing a contact using their secondary email address and BCC'ing to the BCC Dropbox email, the email is not logged in their contact profile. So we would like the BCC Dropbox feature to include the secondary email field in its search pattern. Is it possible for you to implement this.

List of Companies that doesn't have a contact name yet - Lead or Account?
We have a list of companies we want to do research and cold-call eventually. For now, we only have the business name and high level information like address, etc. How can we manage this in Zoho? We cannot import into "Leads" because we don't have a Last Name on the mandatory field. Old events continue to reappear in activities after deletion. There is currently no calendar synch. Is this coming from Zoho based on prior calendar synch? How can I eliminate? Please advise. Thanks, John
Zoho migrated my ACT Database
Zoho migrated my ACT Database - In the process not one Account was created. Zoho created a Company field in contacts and dumped the data in. 65,000 "Accounts" imported as Company in the Contacts module. It was suggested that we copy and paste to create accounts...... really? Mass New Task
Is there any way of creating mass new tasks? E.g. we had 50 customers who had an activity set up to be emailed. These have all been done and mass updated so the tasks are completed, I'd now like to create a new task for all of these for a follow up phone call the following week. Associate contact with account in Standard version
Hello, I am trying to link a contact to an account, but the information given in other responses to this question doesn't work for me as I don't seem to have access to some of the options in Setup that are referred to in other responses, and importing them doesn't present any options for linking to accounts that I can see. Record owner & person doing data import mismatch results in "empty values" error!?
Found a weird bug when trying to update a bunch of records using the Import records feature in Zoho CRM. Took us a few days to figure out. We tried importing .XLS, .XLSX, and .CSV. We kept getting errors trying to import data, some records would be marked as "ignored" because there were "empty values" for one or more of the mandatory fields. Problem was, there were no empty values. Even when we just imported the mandatory fields (a simple 1 record, 4 field table) it would ignore them (see below).
Emails logged for contact, opportunity, etc. not showing in mobile app
My ZohoCRM mobile app (android) does not show emails logged for contacts, opportunities, etc. They are shown online, but not in mobile. Does anyone know why or have this same problem? Are emails not supposed to show on the mobile app eventhough task, call, events, etc. all show?

Info not displaying on a contact's profile
Hi, We are experiencing a critical issue with our database on ZohoCRM. When clicking on an individual contact, their profile opens up empty. Except for a name and phone number, all other fields are without a value or information. Importing contacts and accounts in Excel
I understand that in order to load contacts and accounts from a single Excel spreadsheet that contains all data, I need to first remove all contact information from the sheet, load the accounts and account IDs will be generated. I then map these account IDs to my new contacts only spreadsheet and import this sheet. Does this mean that aside from the manual process of removing the contact information from spreadsheet, in order to map the account ids, I need to do this for each individual contact?

Skipped contacts on import
Is there a way to see which contacts were not imported after the import process has been executed. I find it frustrating to see something that says "80 records skipped" and not know why they were not imported and more importantly which ones those are. Anyone have some insight?

I would like to create a multiselect pick list that will allow for type ahead if possible, but also allow for information to be typed in if it is not available in the pick list. Is this possible? Duplicates in custom reports
I made a custom open potentials report by territory. The report contains many duplicate line items for potentials. It seems that if the sales person changed the probability value assigned to a given potential, then a duplicate line in the report is created. On the report, all potentials of the same ID are listed at the latest probability rating. How can I eliminate these extra lines and view only one line per potential?

I have a question relating to a single Excel file I have with my account and contact information. I have multiple contacts per account. If I understand the zoho import process, I first need to remove all contact information, name, email addres etc, then upload my account details with specific account only info like industry, address etc and a unique account ID will be generated.
