Hi, - I am trying to create a workflow that updates a field when a record is edited. - The only criteria is that the "Potential Owner" is one particular user. The workflow words, except for when I create the rule: "Potential Owner" is "user x". Can anyone suggest what I may be doing wrong?
Task reminders: one click close from email
When you get an email reminder it would be nice to be able to mark the task as completed (and shut off any existing reminders) directly from the email. As it is now you can follow a link to the task, sign in to Zoho if you are not signed in already, find the section to change the task status to complete, and then also remember to uncheck the reminder box. The difference between a couple of seconds and a minute or more to complete a simple thing.

Hello, Although In tried all possibly suitable fields, the total value after deducting discount off of the subtotal of all product items does not show on quote. Example: Product1 price: 100 Product2 price: 200 Subtotal: 300 Discount: 10% Total after discount: 270 --> This value does not show! This is a critical issue for our company, please help. Some info disappears...
When I convert a Lead to an Account, I can't find see some info such as Notes that I had entered in Leads, in each Account. Even if I click back to Leads, its not there either...it just says it has been converted to an Account.

Quote information not available on the invoice
I am setting up a holiday rental system. Potentials are Bookings and Products are Properties. We have added the rental "from" and "to" dates on the Potential and populated those to the Quote. On the Invoice there is no option to include custom fields from the Potential (or quote) - this seems like a bug or simple omission - the Potential, Quote and Invoice are all linked and should have access to the same data. Sharing leads with another person
Hi there, I'm a startup and have a list of sales leads I want to share with my partner. I'm using Zoho's CRM tool. I've created a Zoho account and imported our leads list into the CRM. I've also invited my partner as a friend, but clearly that is not the way to share the list. She just creates her own blank Zoho account. How do I share my leads list with her? Setting up automated tasks / call list
Hi - just switching to Zoho from an archaic system. One thing I was able to do, however, in this old system, was quickly set a followup date, and the system would display a list of contacts on that date. For example, I leave a voicemail on 3/5, note it, and set the calendar to 3/12. Then on 3/12, this lead, and all other leads appear. Should I be setting up a workflow? What field would trigger this? Can Pulse update when new emails are attached ?
Were finding it difficult to get a accurate picture of which contacts are hot, it would be an excellent feature if the pulse would update when an email was attached to a contact just like it updates when a note is attached, so our users can see who is in contact with who, and what the current conversation is about is this already available ? if not is it planned ?

Hello, Can anyone tell me if there is a way to add a file to an Account in CRM via email i.e. an individual email address for each Account that will accept an email with an attachment and then add that attachment to the Account. The scenario is something like this. We use another system to produce invoices (not a finance system, it is an operations system). Sync Contact with Google - what will happen next?
Hi, I had 2-way sync configured and all was working well, too well all my personal contacts ended-up in Zoho (my own fault). We have now decided to only do a one way sync - Zoho -> Google so all contact updates will be done in Zoho and then pushed to Google. Now we are configured this way, what will happen when I delete my personal contacts from Zoho, will the delete be pushed through to Google? How can I delete my personal contacts from Zoho without them being deleted from Google also? Thanks

Hi, I would like to be able to sort my Contact list by the most recently updated, i.e which contacts have had email conversations / notes recently etc . Unfortunately it seems that your modified by/ time fields only update if the contacts personal information is changed. is it possible to get this to change on upload of an email/task/note aswell ? Major problems since new Template
Hi all, Are there more people who are experiencing major problems with the new template and Zoho CRM? We are having problems with empty offers and invoices, prices differ from products and offers, clicking on a relation shows a wrong one. In fact, Zoho is not working for us, but against us right now. We have complained about it and really want the old layout back, because it was working just fine. But the answer we got was 'no, cannot change back to old template'. This is really problematic! Hi, I'm a new user to Zoho CRM and must say I like it... :) However I have some things that bugs the crap out of me and the main thing is that I can't find a way to adjust the columns!? As for example, layouts. On the startpage I've created a module of open activities. And for that activiity I've chosen to add company name a long with other information fields. Sending emails from a list of contacts in a campaigns
Hi want to do a mass emailer to a stack of my customers, i've set up the template for this but what i want to do is first select the contacts from my contact list and add them to a campaign i've created once they're there i then want to be able to at once send them all the same email. So basically i want to track the contacts i've selected for this mailer using campaigns? I can't see how you do it, i can see how you assign contacts to a campaign but you can't email them from the campaign. any ideas??

Issue in importing Potentials, Account field does not show up while import runs fine
Hi, I'm trying to import Potentials into Zoho. The import of Accounts runs fine. The import of Potentials too, except that the field "Account Name" is not populated. The account indeed exists and the import runs fine (no error message of missing field... while Account is a mandatory one). I'm confident that my XLS are correct, I mean "Account" in one is spelled exactly as "Account" in the other. Our company currently has 2 staffs using zoho crm (free users), and we would like to add a third to the group. But the third staff, I want her to be a limited user only (cannot delete or access certain information). I heard that paid users have this function, is it? If so, do we need all 3 users to be paid users, or just the 3rd to be paid user and 2 free users in order to do that? thanks

Search/filter contacts by "letter sent" between dates
I'm new here, trying to use the tool effectively. Recently I sent letters to a group of customers, and marked each as having completed the task, with the subject "sent letter". Now I want to make followup calls to each of those customers. I thought that would be straight-forward, but I cant figure out how to construct a filter or search for: Give me customers with: Task "sent letter" complete Task completed between "2/20/2012" and "2/25/2012" Can you tell me how to do that?
Zoho CRM and Google Contacts Sync Not Working
Hello all! I've been stumped by this issue since last Friday. I've setup Zoho CRM (Professional edition) to sync with my Google Contacts (Google Apps for Domain). As far as I can tell the Google ID is the right one. I've also checked the Zoho CRM app in my Google Apps domain control panel and all the permissions are green. one click 'send task reminder' for Zoho CRM
We have assigned tasks to team members. They have not done the tasks. We want a way to click ONE BUTTON that will send a reminder of the task to the assignee... as it is we have to click edit, send reminder, close etc. Zoho CRM should make it easy for sales managers to manage their teams... as it is we have to click click click to get simple tasks accomplished.
