Standard views in searchs of CRM

How can i use email address as a lookup value?
I'm trying to link my order data to contacts via lookup fields but currently I understand that the only lookup option is using the Contact Name. Since this is not at all unique, I would like to instead use the contact email address. Ex. our order record would contain the contact email address and should lookup to the contact email address field to connect the 2 modules. How can I do this? Please help!

HTML Emails out of Person's record
Hi there, since I started using Zoho CRM I was able to send HTML Emails out of people's records. I copied my HTML code in the email window, even if the code was long (more than 100.000 characters), pressed Sent and all was fine. I've sent hundreds of emails like this...up until recently. Mass merge duplicate leads
I have over 1400 duplicate leads even though I have tried the "skip" and "update" selections against the company name when uploading new leads. I've have already manually merged over 1,000. There has to be an easier way since Zoho isn't skipping or updating correctly when uploading .

Hi Zoho Team, We tried to create a mailing list with some of our existing contacts, and ended up cloning / duplicating those contacts. When searching a name, 2 versions come up. If one is edited, the other one remains unedited, so they don't recognise one another as the same. The risk here is that we may lose or duplicate information, so we need to either mass-merge or mass-remove the cloned contact. Hello--I have a couple users in our Zoho account who I would like to be able to view ALL of our accounts, even ones that they are not owners of. How do I go about specifically assigning these couple of users so that they can see all accounts, while regulate others so that they only see accounts that they own?

The Dial Pad is not available during inbound calls. I received a incoming phone number that requires you to make entries, IE, Press 1 for sales, press 2 for support. Currently you can not do that.

In meeting notification it has a statement at the bottom of the meeting invite which reads; This e-mail is generated from Zoho CRM. If you think this is SPAM, please report to abuse@zohocorp.com for immediate action Can this text be removed from the notification? Or is it a permanent feature, in which case we will stick with sending notifications from Outlook invites.
CRM 2016 Suggestion - Uploading a File
When uploading a file, the dotted box with the words 'Attach' in the middle looks as if you can drag and drop your file into the area. See image below. For this type of box, basic web usability states you can drag your file here that you want to upload. Doing so crashes CRM 2016. If this is suppose to be a button, then please make it look like a button. If you are supposed to be able to drag and drop, then it is not working.
How do I link an Events place to a contact (and it's already saved adress)
Hi, I am very new to zoho and I have a database of quite a few contacts with saved adresses. If I know start an Event, I would like the "Lovation" to be like "at XY", so that I dont need to find out what the correct adress of the contact is and then tiping it into the field for Location... Is that possible somehow? I already managed to press "relate to - contact", but that does not solve the problem because the field for Location stays empty... How to create task based on custom list view?
Ive created a custom list view, based on a custom field (Networking group: JVs, potential clients etc.) - when I go to create a task, there is no option to find this custom field. My goal is create a reminder / task to contact at specific intervals, for example, "potential clients" every 7 days. How do I do this?

Hello, It was brought to my attention by several customers in Western Europe (Brussels / Amsterdam) that the Zoho CRM Services significantly slow down in the afternoon (local time). I have personally felt this through the total disfunction of some items in CRM at some times. This situation may lead to unhappy users. Status - customized options?
Hi, I have a problem. I just changed some of the ´options´ for giving a status for a ticket. I set up myself some new opportunities, but when I click the field ´status´ for a new ticket I can only see 3 of the 6 options??? Automating invitation responses with Zoho CRM Campaign?
Hi, We use the Campaign module in Zoho CRM (rather than the mass mailing campaigns.zoho.com tool) for our event management. When we send out invitations I would like to include a link or button where they can accept or decline the invitation which then automatically updates the member status. Ideally it would also add the event to their calendar. We currently mail-merge the invite from Outlook but completely open to other mail out tools if it helps with the solutions (we have a subscription to campaigns.zoho.com
Custom Fields in Mail Merge
Hi, I created a custom Module with different custom fields that I have related it to the Potentials Module. When trying to create a template for the Potentials module in Mail Merge, I can't find the custom fields that I have created. I even added a Product to the Potential, and also can't add any fields from the Product in the template. Is there something I am missing? Is there a way to connect any Custom Module or Field directly to the Potentials Module and then use that information in Mail Merge?

Short cut to return to specific page of tasks?
Dear Zoho, Is there any way that if I close a task, I can return back to the previous page of tasks I was on. For example, I have 3 pages of tasks. If I select a task from page 2 and close it, is there a shortcut to return to page 2 rather than the first page again? Regards, Lewis
Associate Emails with Purchase Orders
With Purchase Orders at the bottom it says "Emails". This is by default set to "No Records Found". How can I associate my corresponding emails with it? I can't find the option anywhere in the purchase order itself, nor in my email in CRM.
Capturing product sales history
This sounds like a really basic question, but I cannot find how to capture which products a customer has purchased onto the customer record.. Which module might help with this? Is there a way to link with a woocommerce shop and auto-update?
App and multiple users
Hi run a small company and we rely on Zoho CRM. At the moment the staff get paper job sheets but we are thinking of giving them the app. I have been using it for over a year and it works well. One big question can it show mutiple users events rather than just that user. Really important as we do not always have staff in the office and the apps ability to cache content makes it workable even in a poor 3G area.
Importing contacts linked to accounts
We have imported accounts to a new zoho instance from quickbooks. We want to import a list of contacts and have them linked to the accounts, the account id is correct to correlate with the accounts info. We import and map the fields but the account field in contacts will not populate.

To whom it May concern, Our zohocrm accounts are associated with google apps accounts, we are about to migrate our email system to office365. We would need to know if the change, can cause some problem with the crm. Example, Unable to login or Changing the system changes the unique identifier of the account. Cannot use macro to update multiselect field!? Really!?
Are macros unable to update multiselect fields? I am trying to configure new macros for my leads and contacts that will update a custom multiselect field I have created. The field does not appear on the list of fields available to configure. Am I missing something or are macros not able to update these fields? Thanks Michael
New Zoho look not as nice as old
With the old version of zoho the fields were a distinct different color to stand out. Now the screen is all white. Is there a way to customize the fields to have a color?

List of fixes and improvements to CRM
Last summer Zoho launched a major upgrade to it's CRM, and since that time I get an occasional refresh notice. These notify me that fixes and improvement have come into effect, BUT Zoho does not provide information on the details of what they are. I do not have time to search through the CRM to identify these changes, as Zoho suggests. To me, this makes no sense! It would be very helpful if Zoho provided a list of fixes and improvements with each "upgrade". I can also see several reasons as to why

Hello, I have a question in regards to creating views in Zoho CRM: Now that I have all of the accounts and account owners imported into Zoho, I'd like to set it up so that when account owners login to Zoho, they will only be able to see their own accounts, and not everyone elses'. How can I go about setting this up?
Notifications not being sent
Until today notifications have worked right away. If i enter a ticket into the system it works great notifies me and everything is good. however, our calling service Answerforce when they enter a ticket it no longer notifies me. could you help with this problem? The last ticket in question is #1615 but it seems to be with all tickets put in from Answerforce. Thanks, Jay Black
Creator mystery
Strange problem. We have a creator form with a basic lookup to zohocrm. It looks up a product and then displays the name in the creator form. Lately when we do this it shows the product look up but then shows the product code in the field. I am at a loss to figure thsi out. It has worked lovely for a couple of years. Do not think we made any changes.
Add string values to a lead layout
I'm working on a layout for call center agents that needs to have text prompts for the agent so use during the call. This will use lead data so the module and layout are easy enough however I'm not seeing the field type I need. I need to insert text labels, that is fields that are only for displaying text that don't take any input and use record data from the existing record. For example, a text label that says "Hello ${Leads.FirstName Leads.LastName}..." This seems like a simple enough process

Error saving custom field on Account Record
I have a custom field on an Account record. For one record in particular, when I try to save the record, I get the browser javascript "error:null" pop=up message (see attachment). I can edit other fields on the records AND I can edit this customer field on other Account records. Just have an issue with this certain field on this one record.
User profile pictures do not update from Desktop to Phone
Hi. First time user on this forum. We recently have purchased Zoho for our company. One of our users noticed that he can add and change his picture on the Web interface but it doesn't get updated on the iPhone App. Everything else, notes, contacts etc etc are immediate but there seems to be an issue with getting profile changes to migrate to the phone. Any ideas?

hi i am trying to connect to zoho but no reply, i have tried calling your UK tel number emailing support and presales forum post live chat left voicemail for the account manager I am disappointed by this experience thus far!
