Organizing my contacts in Zoho CRM
I would like to create different groups within my contacts to organize, for example: Personal Contacts, Other Agencies, Hot leads, etc. Is there a way to do this in Zoho CRM? It would be beneficial especially for campaigns/mailings. Please advise.
Mass update potentials based on account field
We have created a set of "Strategic Goals" and "Geographical Priorities" that we're assigning to Potentials as they make their way through our pipeline, but for those that are already in the pipeline, I'd like to use mass update based on fields in the associated accounts. So, for example, a Geographical Priority might be "West Coast", so I'd like to update Potentials to select "West Coast" whenever the Account billing state contains OR, CA, WA. clicking on email in lead or contact won't launch in outlook
In some cases – most noticeably on a task page – Zoho pops up a web window when you click on an email address (the sole exception I’ve found is the contact page, where it works as it should). Is there a way to configure it so that it always calls a new email message from Outlook? I’m wondering if there’s something buried deep in the configuration options that lets you choose how it codes the page.

Seperate organizations using one crm
Any advice on how to separate leads and views for different sales people? I thought to create different modules, however modules don't have fields such as first name, last name etc... I thought by creating different modules, I could create different tabs that would be able to show the difference. Otherwise, there is a default view? Also how to separate leads by lets say a service line for example? I thought the territories would do this, but its not a great solution?

Hello I am wondering if there is a way to have the people that I add to an individual account, autofill the persons mailing address and phone number with that accounts phone number and address. That way I don't have to manually input the same information. thanks Jon White

Fields not displaying in custom modules
Hi - any input appreciated I've created a custom module and for some reason can't select any standard fields to show up in the custom module - those fields are not showing. where do i go to attach these fields to the custom module? the only thing online i saw, mentioned going to users & permissions - but i don't have anything in there that mentions files & permissions?
How to properly setup Zoho CRM with Zoho Invoice
Hello, We recently changed our invoicing platform from an old filemaker database to Zoho Invoice for our magazine and its been a major improvement! We can now easily track our invoices, email them out and apply payments. I'd like to implement Zoho CRM to help us organize all of our leads, and better coordinate support for our existing customers. I've been looking through CRM and it's a bit confusing as we're strictly B2C. Looking through everything, I wasn't sure how to set everything up Leads -
Change "Potential" status to "Contacts".
As I see it, "Potentials" are that, potential customers. If one or more have changed their status and are already customers, how do I change that? Is there a tool for updating the status?

Highrise to Zoho CRM Migration is Not Yet Possible
After many conversation with support, and even sending them all of the files, Zoho does NOT support from a migration from Highrise. So this is a two fold post: 1) Let everyone know that it is NOT possible to migrate data from Highrise (37 Signals) to Zoho CRM. The reason why, is Zoho needs a csv. Highrise only export contacts via csv. But if you want all of the notes, documents, history etc. Highrise only can export that via a .zip file with .txt files for each customer. It is a lot more complex
Work around for assigning task to multiple people
I need to be able to assign a task to all users, and then whoever's available to complete the task will do so. I understand this isn't available, but has anyone found a good work around? Cloning the task isn't a good solution, the cloned tasks will just show up as open and I don't want to clean them all up. Thanks!
Is it possible to create a generic report that can be run for any client (company)?
This should contain: All contacts at a company (need to be able to select the company each time) Name Job title Company name Contact level Contact owner Outstanding activities inc dates and description I know how to create a report, but not sure how to customize this so that the user can select a different company each time and still get the same level of information. Would I need to do something with the criteria settings?

Visibility in the Feeds
Hi there, I contact you because of an issue concerning the feeds, let me explain : We are four users, all of us are admins (except me as super admin) with the free Zoho experience. When user X post a statut, everybody can see it through the feeds but when user X update a lead or add a new one, I'm the only one who can see it in the feeds, why ? Feeds : All - Now. Event end date and time automatically updating when editing start date and time
Hi, If I have an existing event and I need to update the event's start time, clicking edit opens up the full event edit window. In there, when I update the start date or time, the end date/time automatically updates to be half an hour after the start time, over-writing the previous date and time. Delete CRM Account
Hello, I want to delete a Zoho CRM account I created with ID (info@bullbeardevice.com) and want to use this same ID as a user to my another ID. But it says that the account is a part of the organization and I am supposed to contact the administrator of that organization. But I never created the administrator Id they have mentioned ( administrator@bullbeardevice.com ). Any suggestions on how to delete this account?

I have created a view which shows about 25 contacts that we need to keep in touch with. Is it possible to run a report on these contacts only within this view?! I can't see the option for this when creating a report and I want to keep track of these contacts.

RingCentral Popup Call Timer - make it movable or minimize
Please make the call timer window movable or let us minimize it. when we get a call it covers so much of the screen that we can't see behind it. And if we scroll to the end of the page and can't move the desired info up high enough to see then it is difficult to help the customer. We need to be able to see the CRM info that is behind the call timer pop up.
