Something nice I read about zoho mail
This is something nice I read about zohomail. This was written about 4 months ago. It is interesting. http://www.labnol.org/internet/email/zoho-mail-trying-to-compete-with-gmail/5280/ I beleive with couple of more changes zoho mail will be leading the race with Gmail.
Email accounts
There is two things here I would like to ask: 1. I own a website but its free webs from webs.com and I would like to use that domain www.vistaxptricks.webs.com but there is noway that I can create an html or a cname or whatever the other option is can you help me out? 2. I would like to create email accounts under mine with out going through the hassle of using another email account just to create one under my account so how do I do that? Thank you, Blane
When adding gmail as a 2nd account, it does not leave mail on gmail server
I added my gmail account as a 2nd account. Even though I have set the server settings to leave the mail on the server, zoho still pulls the copy from gmail and it is gone from gmal.
Can't send email in my Tesconet account
I have set up a POP3 account in Zoho mail for my Tesconet account. I receive my email OK but when I try to send I receive 421 error for mail.tesco.net port 25. The acccount is set up with inbound server as mail.tesco.net port 110 with correct userid and password, and outbound server mail.tesco.net port 25, no authentication. These are the correct settings according to the ISP web site - any idea what the problem can be? Thanks
Problem sending email through Tesconet account
Hi, I'm having problem sending email for my Tesconet email account, set up as POP3 in Zoho Mail. Receiving my emails works fine (set up with POP3 server mail.tesco.net, port 110, correct userid and password). When I try to send new email, I get error 421 for mail.tesco.net, port 25. The SMTP is set up with this name and port, no authentication. This appears to be correct setup from the ISP website. Any idea what the problem can be? Create additional forum
Someone else had the same problem on another topic/thread. See their text below: I need to create an additional forum. I have the "General Forum" that I configured to the way I wanted and now want to add another new forum. I am under settings>>forums tab>>all forums...on the list is the one forum I have created and in the top right corner is a button that says New Forum. I assumed clicking on this would provide me the form to create a new forum, but instead clicking it clears the exisiting forum
Dedicated Forum login screen
Hello, how can I get a dedicated forum login screen. Right now I have them log into the Zoho business via islsp.businesss.zoho.com and eliminate all the applications but I am not ready for the users to see any other features. I am unable to remove the Sheet/Doc/Note tools at the top of the screen. I would initially only want them to see the Forum. Thank you. I tried http://discussions.zoho.com/islsp but that does not have the islsp branded dedicated login screen that I get with islsp.business.zoho.com.

Is there some way to NOT save sent messages in the sent folder? This is the main reason I'm not using Zoho Mail at the moment.... Thanks.

Pop mail not working
I have correctly configured pop mail, but I am not getting them to come through. No error messages, just no mail showing up. Ideas?
Folders not shown
Hi, My folders are not shown in the left side pane any more, below the "Folders" title is empty. I had also some lables, but now it is written "No labels found" under the labels tag in the left side pane. Does anybody have the same problem? Does anybody know what the problem is? I just imported links from Firefox 3.0.6. All links were imported, all categories (folders) were imported, but ALL the links ended up in the General category. Other categories were blank. Chandresh

POP mail count different than original email
Hi, I have set up my Gmail in the POP email and my Gmail has a total of 9350 emails whne I see All Email and its just 6923 emails in here in Zoho mail. Its a huge difference so I am a little concerned. Also All the emails till date have been fetched. What can I do about this?

Forum Gone
I deleted ISLSP forum at http://discussions.zoho.com/islsp(see error below) and now when I log into http://discussions.zoho.com to get to the Intranet forum I get a blank screen. How do I go to the last page of my email
I have imported Gmail and taken a back up here in Zoho Mail using POP access as suggested in the Zoho Blog a week earlier or so. I am a heavy Gmail user and have more than 9000 emails in it. Around 9500 to be exact. How Do I go to the last page to check how many emails have I received. I see 100 emails on every page and have to click several times to go to the last page. is there an easy option?

Search filter "To/CC" should be "To/CC contains"
Search filter "To/CC" should be changed to "To/CC contains" If i search a key (eg. zoho) with the To/CC as criteria, ZM gives no result. It searches for the exact match of username or domain name. If i want to search mails with a particular username, i should have remember the person's exact email id. This restriction makes me to avoid using of ZM Search.
colour options
chaps just a quick question, but i probably already know the answer. Is there anyway the colour scheme can be either selectable from a set of schemes or selected from a pallet of colours. No love on the email front
I can send email through my preffered address, and recieve email as long as I send it to recipiant first. But I can not recieve email directly without it being a reply to a past email I have sent. When I try to configure the email account in settings I get a responce saying that the email ID has already been configured. When I remove the account in CPanel and return to account details, the email ID is still there. Please help......This is soooooo frustrating.

how to change the default search attribute ? After every login to ZM, i have to change the search attribute from "Search All Folders" to "Subject or Sender contains". Also, Searching the mails within a folder is some what faster than searching the content in All Folders. It should be either configurable or loading the previous Search Settings while login.

Zoho Mail Address Book Integration
Support, Full Address Book integration with Zoho Mail is needed. When composing a new email and typing a contact name in the To: field, only 1 email address will pop up for the contact, even the though the contact has multiple emails in Address Book. Hello, I was inserting data on Zoho Planner, but have found Zoho Personal. Is this a new service that will substitute Zoho Planner? I also saw that Zoho Personal does not appears on Zoho Homepage.
