accessing my zohovo server from other computer using xampp
dear zoho , thanks for you all to creat this amazing application. i want ask you something, i've success to installed zohovo in my computer and i want access through my other computer, then i installed xaamp. i set : ZohoVO Server Host Name : 192.168.1.105 (my computer ip number) port : 8080 but when i try to access using from other computer http://192.168.1.105:8080 that don't work. what should i do then ??? thx

Please anyone!!! I'm planning to use the free version of Zoho virtual office, park it at a server hotel and access it over the webb. Is there any problems doing that and if not...how do I log in to the server over the web from any PC, anywhere? Best wishes /Plirum

Java error message during installation
Hello! During installation of Virtual Office I get following error message: Error occurred during initialization of VM Could not reserve enough space for object heap Could not create the Java virtual machine. I am using a virtual server with Confixx. My hosting provider tells me I should run java with the option -Xmx24m, in order to reduce memory heap from 64 MB to 24 MB! Is it possible to run Virtual Office Installer with this option? Or is there any other solution for my problem? Thanks, Chris

Database Question
Was just wondering why Virtual Office does not user a database such as mySQL or MSSQL, etc?
Installation problem / question
I tried installing the software and here is what happened. At this time, I've attemtped to run the AdventNet_Zoho_VirtualOffice_3_Linux.bin with the console swtich, however all that is reported back is: ./AdventNet_Zoho_VirtualOffice_3_Linux.bin -console InstallShield Wizard Initializing InstallShield Wizard... Searching for Java(tm) Virtual Machine... . Preparing Java(tm) Virtual Machine... .................................. ........ and then the command line again. Any ideas on what is wrong?
browsing of windows servers
chaps ive been doing a bit of playing and if you install an ssh client onto a windows server, you can produce the same type of file browsing as with native linux servers. Its not great, but its a move forward. Just thought id post this for info. cheers ojo
vo running slow
chaps ive been running vo on a p4 with 512mb mem for quite some time now and everything has been running very smooth. But just recently its started to run really slow, to a stage where users are having trouble logging on. If i restart the machine its fine for a short while and then it runs very slow again. Im thinking more memory might be required Any ideas??? cheers ojo

i just downloaded VO and it looks awesome! i'm testing it in multi-mode...and i'm very interested in purchasing it... 1) in regards to email, can VO act as it's own email server? from kicking around, it looks like i have to configure something for it to pull emails for the organization from and send through. Which I've kinda done...So, I've got it running no a win2003 box with the stuff that comes standard with win2003... a virtual smtp server (iis) and pop3 stuff. seems to work ok, but i have to

How to support SSL correctly in VO?
Dear team, I want to surpport SSL in VO.I have do it refer the online help introduce. But https port can not start up,http port start correctly. What's wrong? In online help,It says that "Copy the file to <Zoho Virtual Office Home>/server/default/deploy/conf directory." But there is't this direct.So I cpoy ".keystore" to "<Zoho Virtual Office Home>\server\default\deploy\jbossweb-tomcat50.sar\conf" and "<Zoho Virtual Office Home>/server/default/conf" Please look at my ".keystore" and "server.xml".
Log files
Hi there, Couldyou explain us what do you really require when you ask for log files. I think this is a general interest question. I understand you need the files in <Zoho Virtual Office Home Directory>\server\default\log But do you need all of them?, I have plenty of them and everyday the list grows... and many are quite old. Another problem is that even zipped they are getting quite big files to be sent by mail. Could you be more explicit if at all possible? Thanks
using backslash in notes
Hello VO, When I use 1 backslash in Notes, I save the note then I reopen the notes. I save it again or push the OK button then there are 2 backslashes in notes. When I repeat it like above then there comes more backslashes. It seems like a bug to me.

Imap Setup - Fetching Mails
Setup a Imap account. Did a mail fetch, VO responds with "You have 4 new messages" However, It does not show them in the Inbox. Checked server and they are there. IMAP Settings are: Default settings when creating a Imap Account :?
Windows XP Media
Love ZVO. Just started testing/using it. Just two of us at home right now. I have a new desktop on they way - a Dell desktop which has Windows Media Center s/w loaded. The system has a P4 (with HT), 1GB of RAM, etc, etc. My question is will Zvo work on this system with the Windows XP Media Center operating system......? Steve
Contact export not possible
From Contacts: I have checked the following (When I try to export one or any selected quantity) of contacts): First I check the checkbox (or select all) to select the contact(s), and the checkbox gets marked, but ... as soon as I press 'Export' Button, the contact(s) get unchecked (cleared) and of course if I continue with the export, the result is file of length zero... �Something wrong in the javascript? It happens in IE 6.0.XXXXXX (upated to the latest) Can you reproduce it?
Nothing on IMAP
I am on version 3220 of ZohoVO (with thus SP2). But I always encounter difficulties with the use of IMAP. When I have folder and that I wish to move the malls in those, nothing appear. The service pak 2 was not normally designed to correct these problems. Perhaps i don't use a IMAP compatible version ? What can i do ? Thanks a lot

Cannot Uninstall Zoho Virtual Office 3 trial version
Hi Everybody I cannot uninstall Zoho Virtual Office 3 trial version on my Windows 2000 SP4 machine. It simply refuses to go away! Clicking the Uninstall Virtual Office starts the whole uninstallation process but the software still remains after the process is completed. Likewise for uninstallation using Windows. An even more serious problem is - my C: drive keeps getting filled up after I installed Zoho, and I cannot find what is taking up so much space on my C drive. In a few hours time, 2 to 3

Remote Access
First, I love the product and I think its great. I am getting to work fine on my computer, but I can't seem to get it work on any of my other computers on the network. I don't really know how to set up my router (D-Link DI624) to allow access. I would also like to access VO from my parent's house when I am there. Any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated. I am just not sure what settings I need to do with my router and any settings I need to do with VO. Thanks in advance for all of your help.
enable/disable features
Hi there chaps thanks for the latest update to VO. I know ive talked to you about this in the past, but i cant roll out the latest update onto the live VO server till i have a feature to selectively enable/disable SSH and IM (as i know ive got users who will abuse these features) By the way all my 'trusted' users are really liking VO and keep coming up with more ideas to perhaps incorporate into it.

Hello, I'm trying zoho virtual office; I added two links and created some categories. Now when i try to add a link and choose a category, I received "Error! LDAP integration?
Is VO able to integrate with our corporate LDAP server? By integration, I need: - User Authentication (SSO) - Contact/Resource Lookup - Contact Update? I know we should be able to import entries from an LDAP server, but this is a duplication -> I need integration! From what I see, VO is so far ahead of the rest - great job, but it's a black hole! Once data gets into the server, it can't get out again. What do I mean? - the IMAP adapter doesn't work properly, so I have to use POP -> this means users
