  • Only the super admin can create applications, submit them for review, and manage them within Zoho Marketplace.

3. Overview

As a Partner or developer, you can easily build your application using Developer Console and publish the app to the broader public using Zoho Marketplace.
Zoho Marketplace is an online store where users can browse and discover extensions for Zoho products, custom applications, and industry solutions. It allows users to access and install your applications effortlessly.

This is what the Zoho Marketplace looks like:

Users without an account can browse Zoho Marketplace to view available applications, extensions, and industry solutions. Users with a Zoho Creator account can also install the applications to their account. They can do this directly through Zoho Marketplace or from their Zoho Creator account.

Before submitting an app to Zoho Marketplace, you must first set up your company profile in the Partner console. The Partner console is designed specifically for Zoho Marketplace Partners and is essential for managing your Marketplace activities. It allows you to:
  • Create and manage your company profile.
  • Monitor published applications using metrics like most installed apps, total installations and uninstallation, and other key attributes.
  • Communicate with the Marketplace team.
  • View the review status of applications under review.

 4. Use cases

  • As a partner or developer, you (the super admin of the account) can distribute your app through the Zoho Marketplace, making it available for a wider audience while also monetizing it. You have the opportunity to reach potential clients globally, who can benefit from your solution, and enhance its functionality over time by pushing updates.
  • As a client or user, you can browse through a wide range of apps in Zoho Marketplace, filtering by category, features, and ratings, to find the perfect solution that meets your business requirements. Once installed, these apps can be seamlessly integrated into your existing Zoho Creator environment, helping you streamline operations.

 5. Navigation guide

  • For super admins and developers publishing apps
You can find the Marketplace tab under the MANAGE section on the left-side pane of your Developer Console account. It allows the super admin to publish and manage all the applications distributed using Zoho Marketplace.

  • For users installing the application
Users can directly log in to their Marketplace account, or can find Marketplace under the Operations section in Zoho Creator. The Custom Apps tab lists all the different applications that are available for you to install to your Creator account.
